Each time I visit Big Apple Spa and Nails I leave very satisfied! Emily has been my nail tech the past two visits. She does great work, she takes my ideas and runs with them! I like that you can book your services through their website so you don't have to wait.

So far this is my favorite nail place in town!! I’ve been looking for a place for a while, and am very happy to have found this spot. I can be a little picky about my nails, so it’s hard to find someone whose work I love. Everyone is so kind here, and they checked in multiple times while doing my nails to make sure it was up to par with what I was wanting. Two of my nails chipped after about a week (my fault, I messed up one with a kitchen knife and the other playing sports), and not only did they repair them for free, but they remembered my name, cleaned up my cuticles and gave me hand lotion as well. Just 11/10 customer service above and beyond what I expected, and it’s been a week and my nails still look great. Definitely will be coming back :)

My nails were done professionally. However, the technician was treating me without gentleness,politeness, and patience from the moment I picked my nail color until while she's doing my nails. She was in a rush the whole process. She was rough on my hands the whole time. I feel a great service is very important too with the money I pay for, no matter how well the technician can paint someone's nails. I don't know her name but her table is #8. I don't recommend her.

Heidi is amazing!!! She is a breath of fresh air, and she has great energy & good vibes. I went in with a previous nail job that I wasn’t in love with. I let her know what I didn’t like about them, and she made them absolutely perfect!😍I am obsessed! Ive been going to big apple nails for about 6 months now out of all the workers there my favorite is Lori. Lori has amazing customer service skills, Always makes sure I like my nails and will even give out her personal number in case of a "nail emergency" every time I go / book an appointment I ways tell them ONLY LORI. bonus she's amazing at getting those ingrown at bay. She may not talk to you like the younger girls but let me tell you she is the best! I will always come back to Lori and if she moves salons trust me I will follow!

I went here just the other day and let me say I just loved it! Everyone was really welcoming as well as sanitation is being done often. I cant say how much I appreciated how the artist I chose was patient and worked with me to come up with something I adore. My friend went with me as well, and her nails look so cute! Thank you so much! Second time going: It was once again pretty lovely. I admittedly was a little nervous going in again, but I am pretty satisfied! Kenzie did my nails today. She went a little fast but the work isn't bad. Only a few little errors, and was a little rough with my hands. (The overall shape is a bit broad, but hardly noticeable.)

An amazing nail salon! Came in, was greeted kindly, checked in and showed the individuals my design I wanted. I honestly didn’t know where to go. Until I stumbled across the name of the shop. Ivy, was graciously my artist for the day. She helped me picked out my colors and listened to what I wanted. It came out wonderfully, I’d say. She is skilled. Friendly. Everyone, really. Anywho, I would come back again for any other design as well. A happy, satisfied customer. ❤️😁

Last week (the photo below is a week since I got my set) was my first time going to Big Apple. They were busy which is always a good sign. I did have an appointment and was seated right away. I had my nails done by Lori who was very nice and did an amazing job. I recently moved to Wichita from South Florida and I'm very picky about my nails haha! My only complain is that a had my thumbs break a couples days ago but that was probably my fault and not a result of the work. I was able to file it down since it didn't break all the way off 👏 💖 definitely will go back. Lori was great!

The technician was very professional and helpful in accommodating what I wanted. I had a different product on my nails so she had to remove that but the whole experience was very nice. Most of their pedicures come with a hot stone massage which is a big plus for me. And my manicure was perfect, I’ll definitely be back.

I wanted to try a new nail salon because my last place just never gave me what I asked for so I decided to go here and they were very busy but fast and my nails were not chunky they were very thin and that’s good because most places are not and they gave me water and got me and my cousins nails done in about a hour and my nails are exactly what I wanted my nail teck was phoebe and my cousins was Kelly both very nice!we will definitely come back the price was 115 all together.Also gave me a $5 off for being a new customer.

Went here for the first time with my girl cause she wanted to get our nails done. Happy wife happy life. The receptionist was amazing, she lead us through the options for a manicure, nails and acrylics, and was providing top notch service literally better than anyone else in Kansas. Prices were good and everything worked out smoothly and the nice environment made things better. Services were quick but amazing quality so we didn’t wait long when we went in. Shoutout to the girl at the front desk (think her name was Shayla) gassing the store up for real.

This place is AMAZING! I got a tip from my GF to check them out. I was off on a weekday and decided to pop over. The place was PACKED but even as a walk in I was seated immediately! She was so super sweet and super fast!’ I was in and out in less than an hour, given a coupon for $5 off my next service and felt like a VIP the whole time!! Even the owner was walking around the whole time and he was greeting people and making the whole experience comfortable and fun!! I WILL be back!!

Such a cool atmosphere! I was greeted by a lady with a bubbly personality. My nail girl was a great conversationalist and made me feel extra special today. They played good music and everyone had a smile on their face. There are plenty of booths, plenty of pedicure chairs, and plenty of staff. It was refreshing to know if i had to wait it wouldn't be long at all. I did not have to wait, I was sat immediately and loved every bit of the experience. The price was perfect! They also have perks, promotions, and a point system! I will go here every time from now on!

Phoebe is phenomenal! She takes her time and is always so friendly and kind. Her manicures and pedicures are the best. I won’t go to anyone else for my full-set acrylics. I highly recommend her! :) I’ve never left a bad review, but unfortunately my mother had a bad experience with Lori today. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to my mom, myself and the owners of the business. She rushed through my moms pedicure, and kept leaving whenever her phone went off. Then she pointed at the clock and told my mom that she didn’t have time to rub her feet because she had another client waiting. She also forgot to use the hot towels, and quickly put them on my mothers legs and then took them off within 30 seconds. I paid extra for my mom to get the callus removal, and then she told my mom that she already did it, but she didn’t. She also started the service 10 min late and told my mom that she didn’t have time to run her feet. This was my moms birthday gift and her first experience here. The lady bedside my mother was also upset with how Lori was treating the customers. Then she sat beside me whenever I was getting my manicure and was loud and complaining the entire time. I’m still rating Big Apple 5 stars because of Phoebe and the owners. Everyone else is fantastic here and I would still highly recommend getting a mani and pedi with Phoebe or any of the other lovely gals! Thank you for working so hard and being kind. I appreciate you!

The ladies at Big Apple were very welcoming, professional, incredibly clean and provided the greatest and longest pedicures with wonderful leg massages. Well worth the money. Excellent service. My 82 year old mother, my sister, my friend and myself drive 1 1/2 hours to get the best service ever. Emily is the employee that served me and she is awesome. Emily and Ann serviced us last month and we just think that they are wonderful. The hostess at the door is such a bubbly, funny, and good humor lady. The place is clean and nicely decorated. As I was sitting there, I could hear the ladies with other customers talking. Very, very professional and friendly staff. I've never had a better experience at any salon I've ever been to! My soon to be sister in law and I went and got pedicures done for the FIRST time ever, when we got there they immediately took care of us, we were walkin clients, mind you we have never been to this salon, we arent even from Wichita, we came to dress shop and decided to make it a full on girls day. We told the two very kind ladys this was our first time ever getting a pedicure done, they explained everything to us as they went explained everything they were using ect., we did the $50 green tea pedicure which was 100% worth the $50 and the 2 hour drive! We both were nervous at first, but quickly our nerves were settled, it was a great environment, super friendly, and the customer service was on point! They held conversations with us the entire time. Over all the experience was beyond amazing and we will definitely be back for our next girls day!! Thank you so much to Meah and Victoria for such a great experience!!

I made the decision to leave my regular nail salon after 3 years of loyalty and I was nervous to try a new place. I chose Big Apple based on reviews and location. I went to this salon for this first time today and I am SO IMPRESSED! They have an online system that you check into upon arrival and it tracks your visits and adds rewards points to your profile. The staff is incredibly friendly, the salon is beautiful and has plenty of space. There are a lot of service options and tons of colors to choose from whether it’s powder, polish, shellac, etc. Phoebe did my nails and I am IN LOVE with the results! This is 100% my new salon, yay!

I waited an hour before I was sat to get my nails done even though I called in advance. A couple techs spoke briefly with me but didn't notice I hadn't been helped. A few ladies walked in after me and were sat immediately. My friend was done with her pedicure before I was even recognized as a customer, even though I signed in like I was asked to. Although my first impression was not the best, my nail tech turned my experience around. Her name was Lily and she did an amazing job on my full set dip. She was personable and made sure I loved my nails. She was quite the perfectionist which I deeply appreciated. She gave me a small discount for waiting so long, which I paid back in tip. I plan on coming back for future business and requesting Lily always. Pro tip: try to come in earlier than 5:30pm and 7pm because they are super busy.

I've gone to my gal Kay for many years now and she's made this salon "my home". The hellos when you walk in, and the staff who is always smiling whether you know them directly or not. I rarely stray from going to Kay with exception to when she is busy and another technician steps in. I highly recommend Lily who does an amazing job and also Phoebe who did my dip and pedi today and did outstanding! Very meticulous and wanted to make sure I was happy. They all are terrific and honestly, their just isn't another salon like them :)

I absolutely love this nail place! I had to move away from Wichita and that's the only reason I no longer go. The girls here really know their techniques and are friendly. The prices are reasonable, but not low. The best part is you can get an eyebrow wax and the same place you're getting your nails done at a very good price.

I have always had a good experience when getting a manicure or pedicure at Big Apple Spa. I have had acrylics, shellac and dip done multiple times and have always been satisfied. They have lots of colors for shellac and dip and are always adding more. Great place to get your nails done!

When I first discovered this business, I was in search for some eyelash extensions. I did not have an appointment, however, they did their very best to take care of my every need while I awaited for a person to arrive and accomplish this desire of mine. I was thrilled to get every need taken care of all here at this establishment and they were so nice to me! Although this was just last year, I recently visited to get my eyebrows waxed and yet again I was not disappointed. I am now here once again to receive a super deluxe message on my feet and legs before I have to start school again. It is not hard to stay relaxed here. The pedi was amazing but the full set I wanted 2 fingers on each hand with design done I did get that but it looks horrible I heard so many good things but I wasn’t impressed at all. Then I paid $125 for a full set/pedi.

Normally I have a great experience. I Love Emma, she is the best!!!! But today was terrible. If you want to make sure you're getting what you're paying for and everything done correctly, exactly how you want it, you have to be very specific.. Edna who tried to skip cutting my cuticles until I called her out on it, then she found out I was paying with a card and not cash and she turned into a nasty, rude woman. I still tipped her even though there were at least 7 things I could list that upset me (that she messed up or did wrong), and she threw my money on the ground.... That was just today's experience... Because like I said, I Love everything else about Big Apple. The owner made sure I left happy, and even repainted my toes.

It took almost 2 hours to get a set of acrylics and they charged me an extra $5 just for the shape of nails which made no sense to me. My nails turned out okay but I definitely was not impressed. I did some research and decided to go to Big Apple for a pre-vacation full set of nails and a pedicure. I went with shellac polish and oval shape. I spent $95 for these services. On vacation I spent approximately 6+ hours a day in the water, tons of lotion on my hands, walked barefoot on rocks and sand, did dishes, open boxes, toted luggage and was not careful with them. It is now two weeks later and my nails and toes are in the exact condition as they were when I left from the salon. There isn’t even one chip or lifting. My technician was Ivy and she was very kind, obviously she did a fantastic job and I enjoyed my afternoon at the salon. I will not step foot in another salon.

Visited here for my birthday w/ my friend and my two daughters. The nails came out great, I would just say their customer service isn’t awesome. When the lady sat down with my oldest daughter she asked who I was to her, commenting that I was “so young”, she was shocked to see I had a second child. It was not a compliment. She was judgy. Then she went on to say my daughter was sticky suggesting she was ruining her couches, again she wasn’t. Zero stickiness on her. Another nail tech rolled her eyes at my friend because she allowed her god daughter to sit on her lap while she was getting her nails done. Let me add that I am not blind to my children’s actions. They were well behaved and not making any mess whatsoever. And then while I paid with my AMEX, she asked me if I could use a different card because they have to pay so much for that. Also, they only accept cash tips, which isn’t horrible I just don’t usually carry cash. Again, nails came out great. Customer service subpar and I will not be returning.
