This salon is amazing! It's pretty, clean, and has a great scheduling system and customer service. They always start on time. Olesia does an amazing job and listens well. Show her a picture and she'll give you exactly what you want. She is gentle and I don't feel a thing. She'll always checks-in to make sure you're comfortable. She is also very fast and my lashes last for a while. Usually 3 weeks before I need a fill. I would highly recommend. I am sure you can get an appointment with any lash tech here and you'll receive great service! Gianna is also great and very sweet.

I had eyelash extensions done here because my regular place, Wow Lash Studio, didn't have an appointment available before an event. I asked for a mix of classic and volume, and followed the after care instructions closely. Pros: the service was wonderful, kind, and it's a very cute salon. The lashes are good quality, and the price was good, especially with the first time customer discount. Cons: unfortunately the extensions came out looking very sparse. They look about 1/3 as full as my regular place. I don't have a lot of lashes, but Wow is still able to make them look much fuller and natural-looking Each time I gently brush them, a few fall out. It's only been three days, so I'm concerned about their longevity. Usually they don't fall out at all for the first two weeks and gradually fall out over 2 months. It took about 2.5 hours total compared to my typical 1.5 hrs. I had to fill out a long intake form at a kiosk and there was a lot more prep stuff involved than I am used to. The technician was awkward about prepping my lower eyelids- she had to redo the tape a couple times and it kind of hurt. I will be sticking with Wow in the future.

I have been going to the 14th street location to get my eyebrows waxed the past few months and I have had a wonderful experience every time. Anna was fantastic! I’ve tried a few places for extensions in DC, and this was the best experience I’ve have. She was constantly checking the eveness, length, and shape, and paid attention to the details. I loved that she was correcting throughout to make sure my nails were perfect. One of the best set of eyelash extensions I've ever had! They followed the brief I asked for, kept them looking super natural and the experience was super comfortable. They were running 15 minutes behind schedule, so I had to wait a little while - but the end result of the lashes was worth it!

Visiting from Philadelphia and needed a pedicure and a facial. Pedicure was ok. I didn't care for the velvet chairs and pedicure bowl that didn't have massaging jets. Facial was different than what I'm used to but it was enjoyable. The technician should have a private room with a door. All in all I would recommend the salon if your looking for a "no frills" pampering!

I started going to Laveda in February. After turning 50, I wanted to treat myself to something special and decided to get microblading. After researching several shops and reading through reviews, I stumbled upon Laveda. Penny came highly recommended so I booked my microblading appointment. The appointment included a consultation and preview of how my brows would look when done. I was impressed with Penny's attention to detail and her meticulous precision. I am very particular and expect to get quality service for my money. Needless to say, I was beyond impressed. I get compliments everywhere I go about my brows. Since getting my brows done, I started booking lash appointments. My first appointment was with Esther because Penny was unavailable on the date I requested. Huge disaster! My lashes lasted 2 days before they started falling out. I contacted the Manager (Mark) and he was quick to respond. I was rebooked with Penny at no charge and have been addicted to lash extensions since. Penny explained the hybrid lashes Esther applied were too heavy for my lashes and recommended the classic C curl. I absolutely loved the look! I've repeated my refills every 2 weeks since March 2022. I took a break in August and returned at the end of September for a new set. This time I opted for the L-C curl and they were a perfect match for my eye shape. Penny is always accommodating and easy to work with. I appreciate her attention to my needs. The pedicure service is also impeccable and my 50 year old feet never felt smoother. I highly recommend Laveda lash for great quality for the value and their customer service is unmatched!

Not the best express manicure. As a guy, I don’t get a manicure often. My manicurist took one look at my nails and said for me to let me nails grow then barely clipped and trimmed them. After about 7 minutes, she moved on immediately to a coworker’s station and did her nails then pointed at me and said I was done when I physically saw strands and cuticles uncut. I felt embarrassed for not asking for more, but I probably will ask for someone next time who has the time and wants to work on a guy.

First time getting lashes done was here and I really love them! They fall out a bit faster than I expected but I will try to maybe buy some of the cleaning products I have heard about. I am a bit worried about them damaging my lashes for the long-term so will take a break after using them for month or two.

I had the best experience getting microshading with Penny! I originally planned on getting microblading but she recommended microshading as my brows are thick and just needed to have the gaps filled in. She was very patient and detailed with the shaping and measuring and really made sure both were symmetrical before getting started. She used the entire 2.5 hours to perfect her work. Penny explained the process every step of the way and I felt very comfortable that I was in good hands. I highly recommend Penny and Laveda Lash and Brow Boutique!

A truly WONDERFUL experience. I’ve had my lashes done at other businesses but this is by far the best I’ve ever had. Joy was a delight to work with, she walked me through all of the lash items and helped me figure out a combo that would give me the look I was going for and work best for my eye type. Best. Day. Ever. I called to see if they had any cancellations and the did not but offered to add me to their waitlist. I got lucky and shortly after received a call that they could do my lashes . The receptionist was friendly and professional, Emily the technician was also friendly and did an amazing job. Love that cat eye Then I had a manicure and pedicure by Tina who made me feel like I was having a try spa day. My feet look and feel wonderful. I highly recommend this place and will be returning for sure.

I enjoyed the experience. Although I was 10 minutes early my appointment was at 3 the technician started late. I did not like that. Start on time. My lashes were done nicely but I was not fully satisfied. They are heavy on the end but very light in the middle. We did the cat eyes. If I return I will try another technician and have a picture.

Final update: They MORE than made up for my first experience. I got, probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had or at least top 2, and they also had a top technician do my lashes, which i’m obsessed with. She was also very honest w me about the health of my lashes and guided me towards the best options. A full 180 experience and I will be back! My 2 hour appointment became 4 hours when the first eyelash tech realized 2 hours into my appointment she was having trouble separating my curly lashes…I feel like she should’ve definitely spoke up and asked for help sooner. They then switched me over to another tech who had a full schedule so I had to wait about 30 minutes for her to finish another client. The new lash tech finished the previous tech’s work instead of just starting on a clean slate so I have already had quite a few lashes fall out. And in my personal opinion there should’ve been some sort of compensation whether it was money off of the current service or money off the next service… but unfortunately I was not offered anything for my 2 hour appt becoming a 4 hour ordeal. I most likely won’t be back. I hope others have a better experience! (Gave 2 stars) Update: Manager reached out to rectify lashes with a seasoned technician as well as 20% off an additional service. I’m always willing to give a second chance when warranted! I will update again after 2nd appt.( Gave 3 stars)

I am so happy with the eyelash extensions I received. This was my first time ever getting them so I wasn't sure what to expect, and my lashes came out perfect! Diana was my lash technician and she spent a lot of time going over pictures so we could figure out what I wanted. Honestly they looked beautiful and natural (but still dramatic and had volume) and I could not even feel that I was wearing extensions at all! This was perfect for my recent vacation and the lashes stayed put the whole time even after going to the pool and beach. It was such a relief to not have to worry about wearing makeup on my trip. The salon was beautiful and clean and the staff was friendly and professional and wearing masks. I would definitely recommend this salon and especially Diana for anyone looking for eyelash extensions in DC, and will definitely book again for my next trip or event!

I was very pleased with my pedicure and have been there before for a pedicure. Was not however happy that my nail polish started chipping off my manicure the next day. Since I am not from the area I could not go back in to ask to have it fixed. But I did nothing that the polish should have started chipping off the day after I got my manicure. My nails looked great until the polish started chipping off. Very disappointed in my manicure.

I recently moved to DC and wanted to find "my new nail place". I did some research online and found Laveda. Seeing that they did a variety of services I was excited. They exceeded my expectations. I just got a simple wax for my brows but they were done very well. I got a full set gel manicure from Temi and she did an amazing job. She was super gentle, made sure I got what I wanted, and went out of her way to give me the best experience. My nails look and feel amazing. She even took some creativity and gave me a fun design! I did the express pedicure. Everything seems satisfactory. Things felt clean and new. I was surprised that the chair I was sitting in was made of fabric which would not be immediately cleanable. I would’ve preferred a leather seat. Also the music that was piped in included advertisements which is not very relaxing. I would’ve preferred commercial free music. Finally I had made a note in my online reservation. The person who served me had not read the note.

I even came back for a fill in before I left town. I was telling everyone in town where I got them done because everyone wondered so now I am saying it here: if you need a fresh set in DC, this is the place to go!!

Really great service. The salon was super calm, welcoming and precautious. They followed safety protocols and I watched as they cleaned and wipe down the pedicure/manicure area after usage. My aesthetician Mandy was the sweetest thing! She communicated when she was washing her hands and used the appropriate PPE to safely tend to my hands and toes, all while STILL giving me amazing service and leaving me with beautifully polished nails after so long!!

I recently moved to DC, one block from Laveda, and was excited to try it out in the hopes that they would become my go-to nail salon. My appt for a dip manicure started off great-- the salon is beautiful, the staff are friendly and punctual and the tech took her time. Then I went to check out and was told that I had to pay $15 extra. I was not alerted to this up-charge by the tech, and only got a simple two color dip, no nail art. The only response was that the tech advised her to do so. I was disappointed to say the least - but I paid (and tipped the tech for her work) and decided I would never go back. I deleted their auto-message requesting a review. But when I got the 2nd request, I decided to privately let management know they need to be better about pricing transparency. It was 11PM when I sent this note and I immediately got a reply from Marc (owner?) saying he was going to investigate and get back to me in the morning. Sure enough, at 9am he called to apologize, say that he didn't think my service warranted the up-charge and that he would refund the $15 right away. We had a nice chat and he told me they're new to the area as well, and how important it is to him to listen to customers, get feedback and make sure they're always improving and doing the right thing. I just wanted to share this story to commend Laveda for genuinely caring about providing great customer service. I didn't publicly denounce them by leaving a negative review, but privately expressed my disappointment. So this was no performative response, but a small effort to personally make it right behind the scenes, which really speaks volumes. They've definitely earned my business back.

If she focused on what she was doing maybe it would have turned out better. but my lashes were all messed up and she said it was because i had some young baby lashes growing in. i should have asked for my money back but i was busy getting ready for travelling out of the country. they shouldn't let staff do this procedure unless they are fully trained and professional.

I love Laveda Lash’s staff. My first impression was the phone call I had with a man. I love that he took the time and initiative to explain the whole microblading process, answer all my questions, and more! It was a lasting impression, so I booked an appointment online for my mom to get her eyebrows microbladed. The technician (forgot her name, but she’s from Mongolia) was very kind, and I appreciated the attention to detail. We were going back and forth with the shape, so she handed me the pencil and I actually shaped my mom’s brows! We were talking beforehand about how they liked my makeup for my eyebrows, so I think she could sense that I knew exactly what I wanted for my mom which was true. She was very patient and talented. My mom was very happy with the outcome! I booked another appointment and made a mistake with the time, easy fix! Great service.

I stumbled upon this little gem because of their sidewalk sign, and was able to make an appointment online for later that day. The manager knew who I was when I walked through the door. We confirmed my services for the day and off I went to have my gel mani, pedi, brow wax. The young lady who did my pedicure was extremely gentle and while she worked on my feet another young lady prepped my nails for manicure . Brows set, paid minus 1st time discount, booked next appointment and was out the door. Face mask required. I went in to get an gel mani/pedi last Tuesday (3/10/2020). My appointment was supposed to be at 7pm, but the nail tech was running behind. She didn't show up until 7:45, and while I was waiting there was another nail tech who was literally doing her own nails. I don't understand why I had to wait for my nail tech specifically when there was someone available. When my nail tech did show up, she was very nice and I opted for a SNS only instead of both the mani/pedi since I didn't want to sit there for another 2 hours. She shaped the nails well, but its only be a week and my nails are already coming off and my hair keeps getting stuck under my nails when ever I run my fingers through my hair. Super disappointing since I still paid 50 bucks AFTER the 20% discount they gave me to make up for the late start. The facilities are really nice, and they have free chocolate and drinks. However, it wasn't the best first impression.

It's close by & my first time here after reviews. However there was an issue of timeliness. I ensure that I arrive to my appointments at least 15 to thirty minutes early. Today was no exception. I arrived about 1:30 pm and appt was at 2. But I was seen at least twenty minutes after my appointment. So that was strike one considering this is my first time visit. Of course annoyed I told thr Facials this but I guess to make sure I was a treat happy with the I outcome she made sure that I had some extra time. The Facial was great, intense and well worth but in order for me to to be entirely impressed I would hope that I had a room a little more discreet & comfortable (like a Spa, private) other than that my experience with this type of facial i was impressed and actually my face feels brand new. I might return but afraid of if and when I return if this timeliness would occur again. Ill see it if do by July.

I asked Penny for natural, and she delivered! Penny did microblading on my barely there brows and lip blushing on my lips. Penny gave me an extremely detailed consultation leaving me prepared and well informed about my upcoming appointment. She's a total pro, has a great personality and sense of humor. These photos were taken a couple of hours afterwards so you can see everything looks amazing, even before the swelling went away! If you're sitting on the fence, stop thinking about it and book an appointment with her. If she's not available, wait until she is. Penny is the real deal and well worth the wait.
