I’ve been coming to Ivy Glam for almost a year now. My first visit Ivy wowed me with her abilities as she created the most stunning nails I had ever had. And the prices weren’t bad either! I’ve been coming ever since. Ivy has always been the best. Visit after visit she masterfully recreates the nails I want from a picture. She’s super sweet, and after my first few visits she remembered me. I feel super at ease and comfortable in the salon. Couldn’t be more happy with my time here. I definitely recommend!

I’ve know Ivy for a few years now, even before she opened her own salon. She is the the absolute sweetest with such an amazing personality and actually interacts with the patrons! Even does services! The first time I booked a service here, I selected KT at random, and have not regretted it! She is so talented and really takes her time. I love her creativity! She’s also very gentle, which is another one of the reasons I come back for her. Other salons in the past have been a little rough with the drill and accidentally Knick some skin. But never KT. I never leave disappointed and get so many comments on my nails! KT is just another one of the sweet and funny souls at Ivy Glam. The entire staff is amazing and the inside is a VIBE AND A HALF! I love it here!

Got the owner of the place, Ivy, and although my appt started a little late due to being short staffed, I was well taken care of. The vibe in here is awesome and I love my nails! I'm a newb to the pretty nails club but I couldn't have had a better experience. Love! And she sent me a picture of what my eyebrows could look like microbladed. Sign. Me. Up!

Heidi is amazing. She always makes sure I leave with exactly what I want and she is very respectful of my time. My nails come out looking beyond amazing every time she does them, they are literally works of art. I've grown accustomed to receiving compliments on my nails daily since I've started going to Heidi. They also last and do not break, chip, or crack like some other acrylic and dip I've had done by other technicians. Heidi is brilliant. Ivy, the owner is also great. She has finished and done my nails when I've had a few walk-in appointments and she always makes sure I'm leaving with exactly what I want. They are both incredible.

Everything about the experience was amazing. The entire staff was exceptional including and especially my nail tech and the owner, Ivy. She did acrylics with design and it was perfect. The staff is also super friendly and very inclusive. They asked my brother what he wanted without assuming just because he was a guy he wouldn’t want anything. The place was also very clean and tidy. If you want a fun experience with nails that are very attention to detail, I highly recommend coming here.

Pros: Iman or (E) was my nail tech. She was super friendly and had home girl vibes. She slayed my nails. I wanted an overlay so she had to build my nail with white acrylic which was not easy cause it was kinda difficult to manipulate at times. I would go back strictly for her. She conversed with me easily. The receptionist did offer me a beverage and showed me around the shop when I had a few questions. They have a nail side and a lash side. The set up is really cute. They are under renovations so it is a little organized chaos in there but I get it. However Cons: I don’t know if they were short staffed or what but E was doing my nails and another clients nails at the same time. We both had full sets. So what should have taken an hour tops took nearly 3 hours. I wasn’t aware of this until after she started my nails. I was extremely irritated but E was friendly from the jump n explained that it was her doing both of us n asked us to be patient. I do wish she would have told me up front but she was going as fast as she could n still slated both of our nails. She would be the only reason I would go back. I gave 3 starts over all cause the time was ridiculous but I would give E a 5.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Great for a self care day or a girls day out. Another thing I like about this salon is that it’s really diverse and goes beyond manicures and pedis. Heidi, has been doing my nails for years and she’s great and what she does. She’s sweet and makes sure her clients are comfortable and satisfied. Something that I don’t take for granted about this technician is she’s easy to talk to.

Absolutely worth the hour round trip to go. Many salons closer, but none better or more efficient!! They know what they’re doing and get you in and out satisfaction guaranteed!!! They’ve never let me down!!!! I won’t go anywhere else ever!! I've been getting pedicures by Felicia for a couple of months now and I always make sure I make an appointment with her. The polish seems to last a bit longer and the service is excellent! Absolutely love this place. I've been searching for about 6 years for a nail salon that will actually listen to what I want. I love short square nails and I always get kick back and then they usually don't listen and I end up with nails longer than what I want. This place was very kind and kept making sure I was fine with the length and even recommended a color that suits my skin tone. Definitely my go to place now!

Stephanie is the best!!! She always takes my ideas and makes them 1,000 % better!!!! She’s the only person I would ever trust with my nails. Stephanie does an amazing job every time! She’s been able to get execute all of the different nail art I’ve wanted to try and my nails always last 3+ weeks. Most sets last close to a month without nails any popping off. The shop is clean and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Can I just say WOW! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home in Ivy Glam. It’s beautifully decorated, clean, the the customer service is top notch. Not to mention, the music playing truly set the mood. I made an appointment and I was a little late, but I was still quickly seen. I received the CBD jelly pedicure and an acrylic fill in with intricate nail art. David was gentle and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. My feet have never felt this soft! Ivy, the owner did my nails and she was kind as well as professional! I was offered a drink, and took the bottled water. It was nice and cold! All in all 10/10. I will definitely return every time I visit family in Virginia Beach!

I went to this shop because my old nail tech use to work there. So when I decide to get my toes done I get a woman with short curly hair named Yvette. She started off very rough it was not comfortable, i let her know. when she got to my left toe to prepare the toe for coloring she cut me. Once she cut me she roughly scrubbed it to see if the blood would go away. Once she finally put alcohol on it after asking for proper wound care she started getting distracted leading to the lamp falling on me. 3/5 only because they looked nice, offered drinks and other employees had great customer service but the person i went to was horrible.

Nothing to rave about. I received the Pamper Me Pedicure which comes with a free glass of champagne. I had to ask for the champagne half way through because it wasn't given to me. The massage was supposed to last 10 minutes. Definitely did not last even 5. I timed it. Not worth $45

I finally found a nail salon I like in VA. I request Ivy as my tech whenever I go. She has always been able to replicate the Pinterest images of nail art I bring her and the skills she has for nail shaping is phenomenal. I love a salon with beautiful decor and a welcome drink. The receptionists are always kind and lovely. It's not the fastest the salon but I don't mind setting aside extra time. I've waited for them and they have also waited for me; They have been extremely accommodating of my requests and needs. Honestly I am searching for a nail salon and decided to give this place a try. For a beauty bar I thought this place would look a lot more appealing than it was. When I first walked in the girl at the desk didn't really greet me she just asked "Can I help you?" no Good Morning no smile. It look like she was training but somebody needs to teach her common courtesy but anyway I was told to take my temperature and to wash my hands. I was told to go down there to wash my hands...down where? Could have directed me to exactly where it was since it was my first time there. So I was told one of the ladies was going to take me so I go to wash my hands and said Hi to the person who was going to do my service but she just walked by me and said nothing. I'm supposed to be your client and you just walk by and don't say nothing to me or not greet me?? Then waves for me to come when I'm done washing my hands. My nails and pedicure came out good but as far as the friendly atmosphere I wasn't feeling it. They didn't even have massage chairs where you do the pedicure at...I would've gave a better tip if the tech who did my service was a little more friendly. I wasn't even offered any water so I most likely won't be returning because I wasn't feeling the vibes.

Powder Brows - The lovely Ivy took care of me! Very knowledgeable and walks you thru the whole process.. The overall feeling isn't painful, only a little discomfort. Love my brows and im so happy i dont have to put makeup on everyday. Eyelash extensions - I went with Kris and she is amazing! The retention is great and i go every 2 weeks to get it filled. I always get compliments on my volume wispy set. Overall it's a great environment to get pampered in. Everyone is so nice and their pricing is affordable! Service was wonderful. I called and spoke with Ivy (who was very nice) and requested a same day appointment. I got there and was seen right away. They were following social distancing guidelines and followed the same protocol for every customer that came in. I had Julie and she was so awesome. I had been very cautious since the pandemic and to had been over a year without getting my feet pampered the way I am use to was so awesome to know there is a salon with class, style, and skilled workers right around the corner from me. So boom, I normally go to her brothers shop but due to “inclement weather” they were closed. When you walk into My Glam Beauty Bar you feel special and that is just how they make you feel from the beautiful decor to the champagne, wines and mimosas they serve. My Granddaughter took me there for my birthday to have a gel mani/pedi, I had the lavender gel that they soaked my feet in and I have never had my feet pampered like that before. I think this place is absolutely adorable and when it came to my gel manicure I was impressed. I liked the way it turned out and it was a nice touch offering the mimosa (can’t remember my girls name, but she was very pleasant). As for my lashes, while they looked really great right after getting them done, lashes immediately started falling out. I was already a little shocked that I was charged for a hybrid when it was very very light, and in my opinion looked like a classic (I’ve had lashes done for the past 3-4 year and they were all SIGNIFICANTLY heavier). I know each place has different standards however I was charged about 150 + a 25 tip so of course I want them to still look great after less then a week! I’m very gentle with my lashes, and always had really good retention when it came to lash extensions so this is a bit surprising for me. I am scared to even brush through them lightly because they fall out every time lol. I had Alyssa, who was very informative (almost clinically informative) which was cool but I am going to give another girl a shot just to see how that goes! She did a great job and this is in no way a negative review. Just it’s a lot to pay so much and it be so so light and fall out so quick! ALSO, Ivy is adorable and takes so much pride in her shop!
