I’ve been here a couple of times before but my most recent experience here was outstanding! First of all, they were able to accommodate me despite making a last minute appointment the night before. Second, huge shoutout to Trinity and Grace! Trinity did my dip powder manicure and she did such a wonderful job! She was very nice throughout the whole process and made sure I liked the shape and length of my nails. Grace did a BEAUTIFUL job with the nail art I requested! The whole staff really went above and beyond and I appreciated the time they took to make sure my nails were done exactly how I wanted them to be. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning again!

I absolutely LOVE my nails! I was trying to go for a Valentine’s Day theme with this design but the regular place I went to didn’t do drawn designs anymore. So, I went here instead and they were absolutely flawless! The nail tech who did my nails was Abby, and she did such a lovely job communicating and doing the design I wanted. I would 100% recommend this salon for anyone looking for a great set of nails for a great price.

After much hesitation of trying a new nail salon with prior bad experiences elsewhere, I was very impressed with Aloha Nails and Spa! My best friend and I went here to get manicures, pedicures, and massages done as a pre-game before her wedding and I was very satisfied. This was my first massage but it was very relaxing, which is just what I needed. Joanne was so kind as well as Grace. They kept going out of their way to keep us satisfied whether it was touching up wet nails that got messy or perfecting the nails the way we hoped or even grabbing us water. My nails turned out beautifully, we both did french manicures with dipped powder. I've never done the dipped nails before but the staff helped us decide on everything we were unsure of. So the knowledge they have and willingness to help their clients is great. The workers kept finding ways to involve us in conversation when they could as well. It was just an overall welcoming environment. I'll definitely come back and recommend this location to my friends. Thank you for treating us so kindly!

My favorite salon around Hampton roads. I’ve tried so many salons in the area and non of them are this good. Trang is super intricate and detailed with her work. Appointments are within a couple days and super affordable for the work you get done. Every person here is super sweet and kind. Place is pretty and really clean!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! When I say they are amazing I that doesn’t even explain it! I’m so grateful Tammy was able to do damage control and not only fix another salon’s mistake she did my nails better than I could’ve ever imagined! Trang helped take over and do the design since Tammy did take me as a walk-in! If you’re looking for a nail salon that not only listens to what you want but will actually educate you and knock your nail design out of the park then book your appointment ASAP! They’re so sweet and just beyond amazing in there!

I was here today with my mom and sister to get our nails done for my sister’s wedding this weekend and we all had a great experience. Let me tell you....THIS is THE place! Got a full set of coffin nails and a spa treatment pedicure. Baaaaaby.....Lydia and Brian give GREAT foot massages and do great work on tired feet!!!! My feet were feeling like firewood when I went in (hadn't had them done professionally since COVID hit!); when I was done with the hot rocks, warm towels, conditioning and pedicure.....my feet need to be giving out autographs! And Jenne (pronounced Jenny).....I love her! She did my gel nails. Such a professional! She was "picky" just like me!! And she just knew what I wanted....short but classy....she NAILED IT!! (Get it? Nailed it! 😉☺) Jeanne (pronounced Jean) did my daughter's stiletto nails and SHE did a great job, too!! We drove from Chesapeake near the Suffolk border allll the way to Aragona Boulevard in Virginia Beach and WILL be driving from wherever for Jenne, Jeanne, Lydia and Brian again!!😍😍😍😍

My go to place to get my nails done! Great ambience & employees. You can even get a drink while you get your nails done. Can get busy so I would suggest making an appointment, but even then they try to ensure your wait isn’t too long. Many nail options especially when it comes to the gel polish (mood changing, cat eye, tiger eye, etc) and glow in the dark dip powder. Another positive is they honor yelp discounts and I believe they now have a teacher discount + others.

It's not easy to find a good and experienced nail technician in Virginia beach who actually cares about customer. But I finally found one. 🤗❤ A lot of places making your acrylic nails look wide and fake , but not Abbies work. If you want your hands to look elegant , come see guys in Aloha nails.

Trinity did an awesome job on my gel manicure. She offered me a drink right away. She made sure I was happy with the length and shape. She didn't get annoyed when I asked her to make a few tweaks. She also made sure I liked the color, which I really appreciate. I hate when a nail tech doesn't ask! I love the shape, length and color. She was gentle, efficient and gave a good hand massage. I was a little skeptical of the area, but don't let that deter you. Prices are reasonable and they are military friendly. They were busy so I would recommend an appointment! If I was local, I would definitely come back!!

Love my nails. I did book an appointment for my daughter via online without mine. Karli did wonderful job for my daughter and ask if I want anything done. I decided to take my old acrylic off which I wasn’t happy with it anyway. She fit me in for a new ombre with Halloween theme colors. Jennie and Trinity did my nails and I love it!! I like this place but the only thing I didn't like was when the woman/owner that was doing my nails seemed to get a tad bit upset because I asked if I could soak my nails a little longer because there was still acrylic on some of them. She didn't let me soak my nails again and said the acrylic would come off when she buffs them but it didn't come off and I was so disappointed.

I've never had dipped powder nails before and they were able to explain the difference between that and acrylic. So I decided to try the dip and they look amazing. They had so many colors to pick from even glow in the dark powder and tigers eye wich looked to cool. I will definitely be going back for more services, there are so many to try. This would be a great place for a full spa day.

Getting married in 3 days! My soon-to-be-hubby and I have been coming here together for a couple of years (he's been coming even longer) and we live about an hour away. I knew that my wedding nails would be top notch at Aloha Nails & Spa. My go-to most awesome gal is Paulette. Had the foot spa and as picture shows the french manicure with (OF COURSE) a splash of glitter! My fiance was very impressed, watching as she applied the layers and final touches. I really tried to like this place because the employees for the most part are nice but when it comes to my nails I am not completely satisfied. The nails when done are nice but then after two or three days is starts to chip. For me paying over $40 I expect my nails to last at least 2 weeks. I shouldn't have to keep going back for them to fix it either. Their pedicure is decent but as far as the quality of their manicures it could be alot better. Unfortunately I have to go some place else...

Trinity is amazing! She is very professional and her mannerisms are very soothing. I am visiting from California, my back was completely tense, my face was dry and dull. My feet looked terrible. Trinity worked her magic with a salt body scrub and a facial. Brian did an excellent job on the spa pedicure. Go to Aloha Spa for superb, quality treatments at a reasonable price. If you are looking for plush robes and champagne, this is not your place. I recommend this place for their excellent service.

Grace did a great job on my nails. Everybody very nice, I will definitely be going back. There is a fee for using card, and deposit if you make an appt, which gets credited back to you. That was new to me, but I'm sure many people just don't show up nail appts.

This was my first visit to Aloha. I spoiled my self and got the top of the line pedicure and it was amazing. I had my acrylic nails removed which took time and the technician was very patient with me. I then had a dipping powder French manicure which looks awesome. They listened to what I wanted done; length, shape and color. I felt relaxed not rushed and as I observed the other technicians around me service their clients they were providing similar service. Clients were happy, staff was smiling and engaging the customers even though it was busy. The price was good for what I received. The shop was clean and you can even have a glass of wine or a Mimosa during your appointment. I will be back.

Abbie was amazing. I made a last minute appointment this evening and she took me with no problem. She took her time and gave me the ultimate pedicure. I broke my big toe nail and she suggested that I get acrylic to even it out. Again she took her time and paid attention to detail. That is important especially when you are the last client of the day. In my past experiences the service is rushed and details are overlooked during busy or close to closing times. With Abbie there were no short cuts! The massage was amazing and I recommend her to anyone looking for the best pedicure experience. I will definitely be booking my next appointment with her before I leave and I can’t wait for my next pedicure.

Oh my gosh! I LOVED this place. I have never had my nails done and went in a week before my wedding completely ignorant to how nail salons work. I showed her a picture and she made it happen. I cannot keep nails as my natural ones break very easily. I have kept the fake gel ones on for a week now and they haven’t budged. And mind you, I have hit them on everything. I also work in a medical job and am always washing my hand with soaps and sanitizers. The color is just as bright and the stamps they placed on havent chipped or faded a bit. I was very pleased and will be going back very very often!

Service is average, nothing outstanding. They sell alcohol, if you prefer to drink, while you're getting your nails done. What I didn't like was they payment system. They asked for a CC # to book the appointment and they charged $25, when I booked. Then they just charged for the difference when I went in for the service. The cashier forgot to tell me that I can keep $25 as the credit so that they don't have to charge me again when I'm scheduling for my next appointment. There are nail salons closer to me and for this payment system, I'm going to check out other places.

I’ve been coming here for my nails for three years and I have been thrilled every time. I think they have a student discount as well which I’ve definitely used. I’ve probably gotten my nails done by almost every technician here and every one has been great. The customer service is exemplary. I broke my wrist last year the day I got my nails done and I had to have surgery a few days later. I came in and they removed my nails for no charge. Before that, I opened a window the same day I had my nails done and broke a nail clean off. I came in and they fixed it for free. I’ve never had a bad experience. I even have my husband coming in for pedicures now and he loves them. He’d had a pedicure once before at a different salon and had a bad experience there so he was hesitant to go here but he loves it so much that he even asks to go now. They are always super clean, and have been great with taking precautions during Covid. Tools come out of fresh packaging even. I 100% recommend them.

Much louder then I’m comfortable with but the staff we encountered were so very nice. Manicure done by Yolanda and pedicure was gone by Ben and Victoria who are very good and I would tell anyone to look for them if visiting. Victoria was the most attentive nail technician I’ve ever met. Pricing: 2 standard pedicures and gel manicure $107. When making an appointment a $25 credit card deposit is required.

I requested to have a pedicure and a manicure and I was also walking as well, so I automatically assume it was going to take a long time. I was wrong. I was taken to be seated for my pedicure first. I was offered a drink and the water was ran nice hot for me. Victora is the nice young lady who took care of me. She was awesome, very impressionable, quick, but efficient. I told her I had to be somewhere at a certain time and she kept that in the front of her head. My manicure was also quick and well done. This was my first time here. I was referred by my beautification and happen to call to schedule an appt. I prefer appointments than waiting. Past experience with other establishments are that they "schedule" appts to come in to wait. They were professional, quick, and kind. I lucked out with Trinity. She was AMAZING! Though she runs the plan I did not wait long in between her duties and the quality of work was not taken from when she have to assist with her other duties. I enjoyed my first visit and definitely going back.

I don't get my nails done religiously and so I haven't found a favorite or regular nail salon. I probably go no more than six times in a year.... I do know that some places only take cash but I've never had to put a deposit down when making a reservation. We didn't mind it though. They also charge a fee to use credit cards and they only take cash tips. I came here with a girlfriend for a mani/pedi. We both got gel color. Mine chipped next day but they kindly fixed it for me. My girlfriend gets her nails done regularly. She said she most likely wouldn't come back. Overall experience was ok.

I was having such a horrible day on Sunday. I had a few hours to spare and decided to treat myself to a pedi and stumbled upon this place. Unfortunately I live over an hour away so I don’t know how often I will come back, but I had such a great experience. All the ladies were so nice. I have not been here since covid broke but this was my place to go before.. I made an appointment ahead of time for a new set of nails and mentioned I wanted some nail art but I really should have gone into more detail so they would have made me a longer appointment...my mistake... not theirs. I was recommended to Trang. When I arrived I was greeted and checked in. I was politely asked to wash my hands and then they offered to help me pick out colors. I was also asked if I wanted anything to drink. I was greeted by Grace who prepped my nails. Trang came over and asked me what I wanted for my nails. Trang did some amazing nail art in a short amount of time. Grace did some finishing touches because my appointment ran over.. So happy with my nails. I would highly recommend Aloha Nails and Spa.

I have been coming here for almost a year now, and the service has really gone downhill. The last two pedicures I have gotten didn't even fully remove the rough and sharp spots on my calluses, even though I'm paying for the Ultimate and it was two different people. I like the ladies here a lot; most are super easy to talk to and very sweet. The facility is clean and they offer drinks. If you don't want to wait for 30 minutes or more to be seen, you absolutely must make an appointment. It is very easy to do on their website, however, if you want to get multiple services done - say, two pedicures - you should probably forget it. I had been scheduling two at a time all year, and the most recent one sent the whole shop into a tizzy when it had never been a problem before. I would have rated this place 5 stars at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, that just isn't what you will receive anymore. I will be going somewhere else from now on.

Great place. Great service. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We scheduled an appt for 2 people. However, when we got there they only had one staff member available. Therefore I did have to wait for a bit. I know Fridays can be super busy. Nevertheless, the staff that worked with me stayed with me until after closing. The staff is really sweet and we had great conversations. They do have a wine/mimosa bar but we were not offered any until mentioned by us. Overall great experience and my nails look amazing. It's an adorable Hawaiian themed nail salon tucked in a small shopping center. The nail techs who did my dip powder nails and gel pedicure did an awesome job. They both took their time and made sure my nails were how I wanted them. Their pedicure chairs give the best massage and even have a fancy rest for your ankle, so you're not awkwardly holding your leg in the air for tech. I was very impressed with the prices as well. I've paid way more at other local nail salons for less. I've already made another appointment. PS: The Pineapple Mimosa is delicious! Be sure to get one. Bring cash! Their credit card machine does not accept tips!

Very much a community salon. Technicians are friendly & love talking to customers, as opposed to other salons where they don't speak fluent English & only talk to eachother. The downside of this is that it's usually pretty loud.The salon is a little small, and the drying area is right on top of the front door & the coat rack. Service is wonderful and the technicians always do a great job on my nails. I recommend making an appointment as they are usually pretty busy. The salon does serve alcoholic beverages including wine & pre-mixed mimosas. Bring headphones with you if u aren't looking to socialize as much.

My sister and I came for a well deserved and overdue mani-pedi. We got gel pedicures by Grace and Ben who were amazing and very nice. The nail tech who did my nails was nice but the quality of the gel manicure wasn’t what I was expecting. My nails were chipping within a few days and the gel polish wasn’t applied evenly and transparent, and because of the inconsistency a couple of my nails have broken. It’s very frustrating because I told the nail tech (her name might’ve been Yolanda) that a reason I’m getting gel is to build my nails stronger only to have them break so soon after the manicure. The employees were nice and I’ll most likely come back for a pedicure but I’m hesitant to get a manicure here again.

Struggled on this review. I made an appt in advance for a deluxe pedicure at 1130. I arrived at 1120 and was pleasantly greeted right away and seated in a pedicure chair with the water ready. It was not until 1145 and the water had gone room temperature that I was tended to. The pedicure itself by Tammy was not great. Scrubbing was done extremely quickly, and the "massage" was just really fast rubbing in of lotion which was a little disappointing. The paint job was done well, but then I realized that the towel treatment and hot stone massage that are part of the deluxe pedicure never happened. Check out was pleasant and I received a 10% discount after letting them know that I didn't receive the service that I requested at scheduling and at check-in, which was a very nice gesture. So I give it three stars because the service when I called, checked in and checked out was really nice, but the pedicure itself was not what I requested and it wasn't very pleasant overall. I was very excited about trying this location for my first time after reading all of the great reviews, so it was a bit of a let down. Maybe an off day for technician Tammy. If I choose to return, I'll definitely update my review to reflect any changes.

I went there today for the first time today to get my eyebrows waxed, I gave them 3 stars only for the fact that the lady that did my eyebrows was very nice!!! I do NOT like my eyebrows. They are still very thick and not arched the way I like them. I could have done this at home by plucking them instead of paying $10 to go there. I definitely would not go back, I’m going to stick with my lady in Portsmouth because my eyebrows are always done the correct way. And also when I walked in I told them I only wanted my eyebrows waxed, and while playing the lady at the counter tried to talk me into a facial, I don’t like people trying to push services on me I didn’t ask for.

My polish only stayed on 2 days before it started to peel. My toes were not cleaned so they didn't hurt on the sides. I always come in with my 2 grandsons and the staff always chooses to start them first when clearly my mani pedi will take longer than their simple pedis. It is never very relaxing. I think I have given them enough chances to get it right. If your staff is going to wear gloves they probably shouldn't have holes in them. Mahalo.

This was by far the BEST nail salon experience I have ever had! I went 2 weeks ago on a thursday, and my gel polish is STILL going strong. No chips or anything. The combo manicure and pedicure is the way to go. Hot stone massage, hot towels, salt scrubs you name it. I paid $15 extra for the gel polish and that was worth every penny. Trinity at the front desk was so helpful when I was calling in about making an appointment. Simply fantastic. I have been to several nail salons all over the hampton roads for years and this was by far the best ever. I have been telling multiple people to check it out, and I will be coming back again.

Anywhere else I've gone, after 2wks, the edges are lifting so badly I have to remove it. It's been 31 days and the edges have barely lifted up. Trinity never made it awkward, it didn't take super long, and she knows how to make you feel comfortable. I also got my nails done by Quang and his polish skills are on point. Friend and I went to get our nails done oct 10th. I love Paulette must get her! I got a full set acrylic nails with regular polish! my nails have lasted and are still good 3 weeks later! My friend got the same thing ,but with jell polish, and she had a girl named Gracie, she didn't do so well, my friends nails fell off a week and a half later! and she didn't mess with them and they were shorter and some of the polish she had came off as well. She paid more for her nails due to the polish and she needed them for a ball to go to. But half her nails are off. wouldn't recommend Gracie at all. Go to Paulette all the way she does amazing!

My first experience was pretty good. Very friendly, came in as a walk in and didn't have to wait. Very clean and nicely decorated. When I went to get my nails done the guy was quiet and when I asked about making the nails a little thicker, I opted for dipping, he said nails aren't made that way, just be careful. I replied what if I break one, can you fix it? His reply (exasperated) .. Well, we can but, just be careful. Nails aren't made to be strong. My nails came out looking horrible, very thin and lasted a day. I decided to go back and switch to acrilic. Made an appt for 3p, and sat for 35 min and still hadn't been seen. I asked if anyone else could help, since I'd seen 2 other people finish, and was told he was the only one. The nice girl asked when he would be done, and his reply.. I'm doing chrome, you can't rush nails. I won't be done for another 15-20 min. I just left and went to orchid nails, they did a great job, have lasted longer, and so much nicer.
