They were all fortunate to be taught by Ms. Natalie. All agree that she instilled in them life changing knowledge. I will continue to recommend Grabber to my high school seniors who are interested in the beauty field. I Came to Grabber knowing nothing about the beauty industry. I’m 3weeks out from graduation & I’m so excited to start my journey. Ms Natalie lash class is a must take very educational. I’ve learned so much in so little time it seems unbelievable at times. The Director Morgan Is tough but she’s completely understanding and have a open door policy, I’ve always got a response when contacting her rather it be a office visit or Email. Nothing is perfect but they try to keep education number 1 priority.

The biggest kudos for this place is the staff. Everyone is so nice and I really like that the instructors are really friendly and look like they enjoy their job. The prices are reasonable and I feel that Grabber is accommodating for your appointment even if you don't need a lot done. I just got a few foils to lighten up my hair. This is a great place if you want to treat yourself to a spa or hair day on a budget.

5 stars is simply not enough! Ive been seeing MEGAN ZEHNLE for my skin weekly - these appointments have become the highlight of each week for me! Considering the professional level of treatment I’ve consistently received from Megan, it’s almost shocking she hasn’t even graduated yet. It’s pretty clear she’s found her calling! Speaking of clear: MY SKIN! It looks and feels phenomenal. I’ve received so many compliments lately, and I rarely even wear makeup anymore. I feel a new sense of confidence about my skin, and I have Megan to thank for that. She always takes time to explain her process, teach me about the products she uses at each appointment, and answer any questions I may have. It’s obvious how much she really cares about her clients. PEOPLE - Get in to see her before she graduates! She will probably have every salon around town knocking on her door with job offers once she’s got that diploma next month, so who knows where she will be! Megan is truly wonderful, can’t wait for my appointment next week!!! :)

I have very long, thin, straight hair. I want to keep my hair long, so I always just get a trim. Usually, my hair doesn’t look any different. But Emily and her instructor, Ms.Niveah (I’m so sorry if I spelled your name wrong) gave me a haircut that complements my hair perfectly. They were both extremely professional and interested in the cut. Now I have hair that I keep looking at; it is so much nicer than any I’ve gotten! Also, it was $9 ! :) Thank you, Emily! Remey was INCREDIBLE! Not only did she exceed all my expectations, but she was such a joy to sit with for the four hours that she worked on my hair! Her attitude was amazing, I loved her humor, and she had so much patience! I didn’t think it was possible to get my hair from box dyed black to the vibrant ginger color I wanted- but SHE DID THAT!!! I went to this establishment because my former Cosmetologist was a teacher there and I desperately needed my nails and feet done. I didn't know what to expect but I knew the quality of her work so I went on the strength of her capabilities. My nails were done by a young student named Destiny, she was very new to doing nails but she was gentle and very intent on doing a good job. With the help of her teacher (my friend Michelle) coaching her along the way she gained more confidence and did a beautiful job. I was very pleased! The young lady that did my pedicure Tynia, had a little more experience doing the process and she confidently did my pedicure and nailed it! 😅👍 I walked in looking like a monster about the hands and feet (it had been a month or more) and literally left feeling like Cinderella!!! 😍 Awesome job young ladies/Michelle/Grabber!!! I will be returning for an encore!!! I made a collage of b4 and after results.

I love going to Grabber School of Hair Design weekly, it is the highlight of my week. Sanitation is strictly enforced and maintained ALWAYS which is so important. Cody and Brooke are fantastic as they welcome each quest with a personal greeting which makes. you feel special. They both manage the front desk to keep it running smoothly This first greeting is so important. Angela, a student is wonderful. She cares about each client to make sure they are happy. The school also has a WONDERFUL instructor base who assist the students. All of the instructors are available to the students should a problem arise. I can highly recommend Grabber to anyone needing services but most important to anyone interested in becoming a student for a career that has great potential

Mrs. Michelle is the jewel of Grabber School! I love this state of the art facility as a whole, but this review is about who I owe the most gratitude. The instructor of the Nail tech program Mrs. Michelle, she can teach me how to dump trash and make it enjoyable. I haven't enjoyed school so much since I was a child and I appreciate that. Her time and attention to detail and the way she just throws me out there is exactly what I needed to be the best I can be. I have been a customer of Grabber School of Hair Design for a couple of years now and have never had anything but a positive experience. Today my visit was exceptional! I was truly blessed to have been matched with student ‘Mandi H.’ I have unwittingly found my new hairdresser, and I wasn’t even looking to change. I love my current hairdresser, but when I tell you that Mandi touched my soul that would be an understatement. Beginning with her professionalism and chair-side manner, she asked all the right questions, ‘are we using the same color as you’ve been using, or would you like to try another,’ ‘do you want me to follow the same pattern of highlights, or add some new highlights’ and so on. She shared some of her personal goals-and those will be hers to share publicly, and this is what touched my soul and made me connect with Mandi. She was very thorough and took her time. My hair today looks better than ever! Love the color and highlights. She showed me a hairstyle that she had designed herself both color and cut that I am in love with and will be sporting soon. I originally had a scheduled hair appointment with Alexis Moore. However, when I arrived I was told that Alexis wouldn't be available today. I was given the option to reschedule with Alexis for a different date or be serviced today by an available student. *Side Note: In some aspects, I'm a "perfectionist". So in particular, my hair has to be done "Just Right."... Using only one pass to flat iron my hair bone straight inc the roots and edges, crisp parts, and clean trim. Anyways, I went with the latter option. My hair is all natural, coarse, high porosity, and kinky. I suffered massive damage, dryness, brittleness, breakage, shedding, split ends, etc. due to postpartum changes. So I requested someone who has experience with natural hair like mine. When the receptionist presented a student of a different race, I was taken aback. I was very skeptical of letting this student touch my hair b/c I didn't think she'd be able to work with or care for my hair texture. Nonetheless, I was Sooooooo wrong and I feel so bad for giving her a hard time in the beginning. Ms. Stacy did an EXCELLENT job directing and showing Lexi how to work with my hair. Lexi did a PHENOMENAL job of flat-ironing [with just 1 pass] and cutting my hair. I appreciate Ms. Stacy introducing her flat ironing technique b/c it was the key element to giving my tresses that silk press look. I'm very impressed and satisfied with the finished result. With the guidance of Ms. Stacy, Lexi exceeded my expectations. Honestly, this is the healthiest and silkiest my hair has ever felt and appeared. I received salon-quality work at a fraction of the price. I highly recommend Lexi N or Alexis Moore to address your hair care needs. They are truly God-sent.

Ms. Michelle takes the time to show students nail trends from the past to the up and coming. Even with the nail program being accelerated she is very thorough when it comes to the chapter work. She teaches students how to properly deal with every type of client you may come in contact with. Overall this is a great course for someone looking to become a nail tech.

She pushes you to go outside of your comfort zone and try things that you wouldn’t necessarily try on your own. Which also gives you confidence that you ARE able to do it. Love this place. Highlights performed today by Jordan under the watchful eye of instructor Georgia. Once you are seated you consult with both student-stylist and instructor so everyone is in agreement as to what services will be performed. Georgia (or one of the other amazing instructors) continuously roam the floor checking on your service(s) and to answer any questions that you may have. I love that I’m able to help the stylist-student perfect their skills since they will be graduating soon. I’ve gone there several times and each student has been incredible! Knowing that I have Georgia involved in every step of the process allows me to sit back and relax. Jordan is incredible and will make a great stylist upon graduation. Georgia is a hidden jewel and the constant needed to the graduating stylists. Highly recommend trying them out. FYI, they also provide other services such as manicures, brow & lash, body treatments, waxing, facials and more.

I recently heard about Grabber School of Hair Design and was told that this was a pretty decent place to go. I made my appointment and went on that very same day, and just like I was told; they are a pretty AWESOME place to go, to say the least. I went to get some highlights in my hair and was very pleased with the girl who did my hair!!! Seeing as I am mixed with White and Black my hair tends to be very hard to manage and with that in mind I was hesitant to go to just some school that I had only heard about once to have these highlights done, but I can assure you that this is NOT "just some school"! These are students that are being taught very well who know what they are doing! And if that still doesn't ease your mind on having "students" working on you, well another thing that made me feel my hair was in good care was the fact that the teachers watch over their students carefully to make sure that they are doing everything just right. Aside from the actual job that they did on my hair, I was also pleased with their prices. I spent under $40 (sweet! right?) Another thing I loved about them was the atmosphere, everyone was friendly. Great skills, Great customer service, Great prices! I am one happy customer! :) I will definitely be making another appointment here and I would recommend this Salon to all of my friends and family.

My student said she was a bit new so I was wary, but she put a ton of effort into making my hair look nice, she took her time and was very dedicated to making sure everything went perfect. My experience at Grabber is always so much better than at Great Clips or another big chain, students are charismatic and pay attention to customers, instead of leaving to pick up a phone or greet other guests, like stylists at big chains do. I went to Grabber yesterday planning to get a body wave. I met my stylist, Reina, who, along with her instructor, wisely explained how a perm was not the best choice for my type of hair based on my haircut and the fact it is color treated. I am so impressed with their honesty and wisdom to determine what would be best for me personally rather than just going forward with my decision. Thankfully, Reina mentioned it was time to color the gray while she was trimming my hair - I normally use a store bought product - and I mentioned always wanting low lights in my all over blonde color. So, I decided to get my low lights and all over gray coverage right then and there! It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in regard to my physical upkeep. I am so thankful I chose Grabber over one of my regular salons. I was concerned about letting a student do anything involving chemicals to my hair, but my worries were put to rest immediately after I was given excellent advise and saw my trim and color. I was treated like I was the only client being served yesterday and I will return to Grabber again. The cost was considerably less than a salon would charge.

I been to Grabber a lot over the past several years, mostly for hair cuts and color, but I've also had the deep conditioning treatment, the scalp treatment and eyebrow & lip waxing. For the most part, I've been really happy. I've experienced a couple minor mess-ups here and there, but nothing that I haven't experienced at major salons too, including the so-called renowed Face & the Body Spa. At least at Grabber you aren't paying an arm and a leg for something to be screwed up. It is primarily the waxing I have trouble with, but I also have very sensitive skin, so I don't blame the students. I had a haircut messed up once, but the instructor was able to fix it for me so I didn't feel ridiculous. And I understand that these are students, and they need to learn. Like I said before, most of the time, I've had no problems at all. They do take a little longer because they are students, so plan ahead to spend more time than you would at a salon.
