I had received a hair color and cut from Maly this wasn't my first time with her, she did an excellent job and I was very happy. My hair always looks frizzy and other than shampoo and conditioner I don't do anything else. Very unhappy considering I use matrix products. I asked maly about it and she recommended kenra moisturizing oil and it's so amazing. Thank you Maly you're amazing.

Dani Paulson did a great job on my hair coloring. It's hard to believe that I was her first foil job. She was meticulous and focus on the job.She was able to deliver the exact description that I told her to do so. Her coach was equally superb as well . I love coming here because of the hands on supervision of the coaches at Stewart School. Great place to satisfy your monthly beauty maintenance but in affordable price!

I had an incredible experience at Stewart's School in Sioux Falls. I have had multiple people try to achieve the desired look/color I have been wanting & they have not fully satisfied me, so I decided to give the school a try and Holly Kummer did an amazing job along with Macy :) I had a specialty color done- - root shatter with ashy and icy blonde. I was really impressed. Not only were they professional and did a great job with the color while doing whatever it took to make me satisfied with the overall end result but they gave tips & tricks to help me maintain the color and keep my hair healthy. I would recommend Stewart's & these two lovely ladies!

I always receive exceptional service from Lacey Severson! I have gone to her for cuts and colors. She always does a great job helping me pick out styles and colors that I wouldn't normally pick for myself. She has also suggested some really great products that I now can't live without! She does a fantastic job and I always get compliments on my hair! I will definitely be following her to where she works after she graduates! Thank you!

I always love coming here. Everyone is super nice and I always love talking to everyone there. Super friendly staff and it is a school so it does take a bit longer than it would if you were going to someone who had several years of experience (Great time to get to know them better). Also they are all students so they do make mistakes but they will work with their instructors to make sure it gets fixed up (They didn't make any mistakes when I was there). Overall I love this facility and everyone there. Definitely recommend this facility to anyone who lives in Sioux Falls or is just visiting for a bit.

I have had the best hair dresser Amy Willey is the best. I went in for a cut and color a few months ago and I went in with long hair and came with short hair I absolutely loved it my blonde highlights are amazing!! I am looking forward to fallowing Amy on her new Adventure!! ❤️❤️

What a fun place! Stewart's hosts a new group of creative individuals each semester, who are eager to win you over as a long time client. It feels good to help them practice and fine tune their crafts as a live model/client. The only down side to having a service done here, is it takes a little longer than in a regular salon since every step of their work has to be checked and approved by the instructors. But they really do a good job of respecting your schedule and hurrying with these examinations. If you're in need of a salon service at a great price, give Stewart's School a call to schedule an appointment!

Had my haircut and facial waxing today with Hayley Styke, she is amazing and it felt so relaxing I started to fall asleep during the haircut 😴I mentioned I needed coffee and BAM, she was brought me a cup of sweet coffee☕ just the way I like it♡ she took her time to listen to what I was wanting for a style and showed me all the fun hair products she was using, I really liked the bed head it smelled good! My hair feel a so much healthier and even though I chickened out of getting bangs I will definitely be a client of Hayleys forever...p.s. she also took time to get ever last little mustache hairs! !

i literally spent most of my birthday at the school friday with Jeanie Nuss (she didn't know it was my birthday) and had such an awesome experience. I was her only client the whole day as i got highlights, a hair cut, a manicure and a back treatment. i guess you could say i test most her skills and she did a fantastic job with each service i received!!!! she made my birthday one of the best ever and didn't even know it :)

I'm SO amazed with the results of the microdermabrasion I got done with Ronni! She explained the treatments and answered all of my questions. Angela the director helped me get in w/ Maci after a HORRIBLE experience at Icapeli Salon in Sioux Falls. ( I spent $300 for a trim and color at icapelli and after not liking the end result Carson refused to fix it for free) I wanted to go blonde, which as a brunette can take some time. However, Maci was able to get me exactly where I wanted to be color wise and the coaches were there to check her work the entire time. I LOVE MY NEW HAIR COLOR :) Thanks Maci, i'll definitely be back!!!! Also shared my experience/results with all of my co workers --they are impressed! Cost was extremely reasonable and they were not going to let me leave unhappy! Great customer service!

This place is usually a pretty good spot! I had many satisfactory experiences here but there was one that stood out a little. I came in with an idea I saw on pinterest for my hair. I wanted a balayage from brown to blonde at the ends. It was the first time I have went blonde since I dyed my hair brown from my natral dirty blonde. The first complaint was that it seriously took 6 hours to do. Don't get me wrong, I understand that they are all students and it takes longer to do but 6 hours just seemed excessive and I had to leave without worrying what it looked like because I was late to work. The second thing was that when I finally did get to really look at it the next day, it was seriously half brown and half blonde with an almost completely straight line between the two colors. For sitting for so long with the bleach in my hair to go blonde, it was definitely not blonde, it was yellow and had spots of brown in it. I called to schedule another appointment to fix it and asked if they would charge me again for fixing something that wasn't done right the first time. The lady that I talked to said they wouldn't charge me and that I should make sure I have the picture that I originally showed them as my idea so they could compare. When I went in for this second appointment, the teacher that was checking on the student had told me that I should have said something when I came in the first time if it wasn't right and sounded like she wasn't going to let it get fixed for free. She told me that I need to use the purple shampoo, which I had bought at the first appointment, to turn it from yellow and bronzy to bright blonde. I had used it the whole time I had my blonde and the brassy color never went away. They fixed it for the most part after I went back the second time but I wouldn't recommend getting anything complex done here, although I hate to say that because how are they going to learn if they don't do it?
