I’m a transplant to Sioux Falls from Houston and have spent a year trying to find a nail salon that compares to Houston in quality of work/price etc. It’s been a nightmare. But once I found Lux I have been so impressed. I have been going to them for about 6 months now. I see Susie and she is amazing!! She gets the almond shape down perfect every time & doesn’t clump on the dip powder like majority of places do around town. 10/10 recommend.

Took my daughter here for her birthday and we had a great experience.They were very busy but worked us in with very little wait. Neither of us had gotten manicures for several years and the staff did a good job of explaining the different services, cost, and value. I felt very comfortable and will definitely recommend this salon.

When I moved to Sioux Falls in October, I did lots of research to find a credible nail salon & landed on Lux! Absolutely love the environment in the salon; nails techs always so friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to talk to during the nail process. They always do an amazing job on my nails and look forward to my next appointments! Yoda usually does my nails and he always take such great care of them. Highly recommend Lux to anyone in Sioux Falls! Make sure to book ahead because they’re pretty popular 😉

Minh was super patient and very gentle. We've all had that one manicure that the tech makes you bleed or rips your cuticles. Not the case here. He did a beautiful job. First time customer as I just moved here from Mn. The place was very clean. The staff were nice and very attentive to anyone walking in. I did not feel rushed and a month later my nails still look great! I would recommend booking an appointment as they are very busy but it's well worth it. I'm definitely going back again.

I've went to Lux the last 4 months and I am always satisfied with my services. Being from Omaha originally, I went on a search of trying multiple nail salons here that had services that would actually wear well for long periods of time, as my nails are naturally thin and I cannot keep shellac on for more than a week. I tried dip nails at another location after giving up on Shellac, and liked the idea of dip, but that other salon's application was a little thick and not as fine tuned at the end. I finally took the plunge to make the 20min drive from my house to Lux based on multiple people mentioning them to me over time. It is absolutely worth driving to the other side of town for, and my nails last for weeks at a time, and could honestly probably carry on over the 3-4 week mark that I get them refilled. The salon is always really busy, but that just shows the service they are supplying is worth the wait! I have had 4 different techs do my nails each time and they were all welcoming and fun to chat with. The end product of my nails is always gorgeous. The lady who did mine this last time, the end of the first row of stations, was the sweetest person ever, but like I said, I haven't met a tech that I didn't like here. Definitely recommend Lux to anyone wanting quality service around Sioux Falls!

Very clean business with friendly people. The person doing my nails kept checking their phone, taking phone calls & sending text messages during both my mani & pedi. At one point they ran from the pedi chair across the room to their phone then into the backroom. I sat there for 20 minutes before they came back, for as much as I paid I would have thought the phone could have been put away, my nails probably would have turned out better if they had. Disappointing.

I have been going to Lux Nails for several years. The staff are awesome, professional, personal and fun! My fave are the massage chairs! How relaxing to receive a massage while getting a pedicure!! The salon is clean and up to date with the latest trends! I highly recommend checking them out!

I've tried out several different nail salons in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area and they are all not good for 1 reason or another but Lux was a whole different experience. From the time I walked in until I left, it was a fabulous experience! They are all friendly unlike many other salons. The women who did my pedicure, Kendi, was the best pedicure I've had in 25 years of regular pedicures. She massaged alot, removed all of my callous and was a perfectionist when it came to painting them. I usually leave nail salons feeling angry, irritated by the job or ripped off because it just wasn't good but I left Lux happy and I can't wait to go back! I'm so happy I finally found somewhere good!!!

Hv had better pedicures on earlier visits. My greatest issue is heavy callus on my heels and state law won't allow technicians to use blades or rasps. So they can only do so much. By and large the technician was pleasant and the experience satisfactory.

My mom and I love going here, we are not the type that gets out nails done every two or three weeks, but I would say we go a couple times a year. We had my bachelorette girls night here and everything! However the last couple times we have tried to get in we can’t get in unless we schedule three weeks in advanced. We know walk ins are welcome, but we like having an appointment, so it’s flustering that we can never get in anymore.

I love getting my nails done at this salon. I have been going here exclusively for over a year and also used this salon for my wedding day nail needs. The employees are always kind and personable, they care about their customers and coworkers. I have always left here with my nails as close to perfect as they can get. They take their time doing everyone and always take appointments first. I notice that they only take as much as they can handle so that they have time to focus on each customer. If I ever notice something wrong with my nails they will fix it immediately with no questions asked. They know me as soon as I walk in for how many times I have been in the salon and I can only say great things about every time I have been here. I always look forward to my next visit!

love this salon, jerri is my go to. unfortunately opted for regular polish on one of my pedicures. their regular polish started chipping in FOUR days. when i called and asked if i could pay the extra 20 for gel that i originally would have - they said no because they don’t guarantee regular polish.. i’m a regular here so this was disappointing. pay 65 dollars for a pedicure to come off in four days!!!!!?!? a joke

I will never go anywhere but to Lux. Every tech there does an incredible job. They are extremely personable, kind, and flexible. They make sure you leave happy with their services and look forward to your return. I’ve yet to have any tech do a design or anything I haven’t liked. Between Kim, Yoda, Justin, Mary, Bahnita, - they will create something you love. I very rarely do anything plain, and these guys kill it every single time. LOVE this salon.

The dip I got on my finger nails is beautiful however the pedicure was somewhat lackluster, thry missed an ingrown toenail I had that was giving me pain. The people who work there are very friendly and outgoing. EDIT: I've taken care of the toenail and it feels much better, but I will be in tomorrow for a fresh dip. I'm thinking turquoise or maybe a pearlescent type color this time.

I loved going there to get my nails done, as long as Sandy did them, but after hearing she's moved, there's no longer a point in my returning. My experience with anyone besides Sandy, I had a 1pm appointment & I had asked for Sandy, or Justin, since he was also supposed to be good at stiletto nails. I show up for my appointment, he clips all my nails off& leaves me soaking my fingers in a bowl of acetone, now mind you I've been here before& never seen him do this to remove someone's acrylics, usually he just pops them off. He leaves me sitting there, for an hour& starts a dip process on someone elses nails. Sandy started her 2pm appointment (which she thought was me) before Justin bothered to start mine. As I stated previously, I get stiletto nails, none of them look even, my middle fingers both have hooks on the nails & I've literally never been so disappointed.

Short wait, walked in anyway so had no problem with that. Kim helped me. Made sure I was happy every step of the way, with the shape. How the colors turned out initially, and the final product. Offered beverages while I was there too. Dont know that I'll be going anywhere else going forward!

Amazing. I was having a major panic attack abiut my baby being born in a few days. I walked in and he instantly made me laugh. I got my feet pampered for the big day and the lady was nice. They spoke english as well and were making jokes..etc. i laughed and the depression and anxiety went away. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for making my day better

I went here at least 3-4 times with my sister we always get coffin nails and our eyebrows waxed i love my experience because they are really nice i’ve had trouble with many other places in sioux falls but at Lux nails they treat us with respect and always pay after services are complete.
