I was more than pleasantly surprised when I opened the doors to enter. The outside is tidy, but walking in you’re immersed in a world of luxury and all the qualms I have about “treating” myself melted away. From the lighting to the light scent of lavender in the background, it’s a wonderful atmosphere. Every single person smiles when passing you and everyone is very friendly. I had a mani/pedi and the pleasure of an eyebrow shape and tint. The mani/pedi was AMAZING. From the brown sugar scrub to the amazing mask they applied on my feet. I felt special then, then Haley lead me to the brow room where I was greeted with comfortable lighting and calm lofi music in the background. Haley consistently checked my comfort and asked me for input (eyebrows are kind of important) and we worked together to get me the perfect shade and shape. Ultimately, I’ll be back…(tomorrow). I would recommend Skinworks to anyone and everyone who is looking for a day of pampering.

Oh Skinworks! I am a recent Master Esthetician graduate and wanted to share how amazing of a school this place is, when you are there you feel important and empowered by all the staff instructors and the owner (Natalie). Danni, and Zac were an absolute blast to work with and I feel so honored to of been able to be taught by such professionals! I remember starting and being so nervous about everything, the instructors Zac and Danni both were so patient and made sure I was good through out the entire time, by the end of school I felt like we were all a family. Amber Padilla, Danielle G always had my back and answered any silly questions I had in a timely manner, and for that I am grateful. Natalie, she is such a down to earth gal, humble, and kind, she truly wants the best for everyone, she invests so much time fighting for her students, I think anyone who says otherwise should really consider talking to Natalie, anyone who says the school plays favorites are probably students who are not doing what is instructed, not showing up to class or acts like they're better then everyone else, the world is all about change and how quickly you can adapt to that change, going into something with a good positive attitude, life will be easier babe 💅 and in my super blunt opinion, anyone who says the rules are too strict or unfair, are just lazy. (I said what I said 🤷‍♀️) I believe if a school isn't strict and students aren't held accountable they'll never learn and they will struggle in the real world. I absolutely thrived in this hard working environment and can't wait to get out into the field and show em what I'm made of. I did not get asked to leave a review & I will tell anyone who listens how much this school cares and goes above and beyond for their students. I couldn't do any of it without the lovely people at Skinworks, Moosh and Lucia included. If you're thinking about schools, this is hands down the place to be. Thank you for everything Skinworks! 🖤

The environment is really relaxing and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Heather gave me an amazing facial and a gorgeous pedicure as well! She knows all the products and procedures really well, but she also does a great job combining those into a beautiful result. My face was glowing afterward and both of my pedicures held up for a long time.

This is a great place to get facials. I get the luxury facial with ultrasonic add on. Mayra Gomez is my go to girl. I love the way she works. I feel very relaxed and well taken care of after my appointments with Mayra. My skin always feels amazing when she is done. She is very knowledgeable about the products she is using and not afraid to show her skills. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing and always smells nice.

I loved my service at Skinworks School. Emily C. Is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I had a full leg wax and she tells you everything you might feel during the service. It was the first time I have had my legs waxed and it was such a relaxing experience (or as relaxing as waxing can be). And the pre service leg prep and the after service care felt like I was also getting a leg massage. It was just great. Thank Emily C. For the wonderful service. The facility looks inviting and relaxing as soon as you walk in the doors.

It was a great experience walking inside the building with relaxing tunes and nice people. I haven't felt any better how important it is to getting a facial ever since I got mine done with Carla she's very kind and knowledgeable. I can't wait to try all the different treatments that they have to offer!

This was my first experience here. I loved it! When you walk inside, it has a nice spa feeling to it. Allie Anderson greeted me while I was completing my paperwork. I got the luxury facial with ultrasonic. She explained everything while she was working and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I can't wait to go back and schedule my next facial. You really cannot beat the price and all the service that comes with it!

Went to get a Facial With Sharon Maldonado and it was the best experience! Sharon did an outstanding job. She was very gentle, and knowledgeable of what she was doing. I’ve had a couple of luxury facials done with Carla R. and let me just say - she did an amazing job. Exceeded my expectations, the befores and afters are too good to be true. It’s almost as if I had a real life filter on. She’s done a remarkable job, she’s very warm and friendly- she makes sure to listen to your needs and attends to your requests. She explains everything in great detail and makes sure you are very comfortable. I plan on seeing her at least x2 a month, I can’t wait to see her growth!!

Went in because of a referral from a friend. She said that the girls there were good at the Brazilian waxes and that it was more affordable. She was right on both counts. The school is very clean, organized and easy to find. The people at the reception desk were very friendly and welcoming. My student Carmen was very professional, personable and welcoming. She was also very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the service she was going to perform. I recommend Carmen and Skinworks very highly!

I knew what product was going on my face and the benefits of each product. She was extremely kind and professional. I went for my first European facial today and Gabriela Garcia was the one who took care of me. She did an amazing job, she stayed professional the whole time. It was an amazing experience from checking in to my appointment all the way to the end. I had the pleasure of doing a face, brow, and half leg wax with Emily A! She is awesome! She went step-by-step and gave a thorough description of what she was doing before she did it. Emily answered every question and addressed every concern that I had! She was professional, so kind and thoughtful, and did an amazing job! During the face wax, I had a mild reaction and the left side of my face turned red and a little puffy. She called the instructor in to take a look and they gave me hydrocortisone to control the inflammation. Thank you so much for taking care of me! I will definitely be coming back soon!

Absolutely an incredible experience. Cristan gave me a facial and I would 100% recommend going to see her. She was very informative about how I can solve some skin issues that I went in with and was also very kind and respectful while giving the facial. She kept good conversations without talking for too long so I could really relax. Great experience! I’ve had an issue with build up in the pores on my nose ever since I started played sports in grade school and I’ve been looking around for facials in SLC for quite sometime. Not only was the European facial a great price, I left with a clean, glowing feeling after my visit with Jenny! Jenny was knowledgeable, kind, and easy to hold a conversation with. Love this place!!!! I frequently go here and I'm always impressed with the students. This time I had Gabriela Garcia for my lash tint. Oh what a wonderful job! First of all she is a passionate gem! We talked and talked. I've had lash tints before and sometimes the 30 minute wait can be so awkward. Not with Gabriela; when her timer went off I couldn't believe it had been 30 minutes, but that's what you get when you get a service by a professional, time flys!!!!

I booked a specialized acne facial with high frequency; I was lucky to be the client of Natalia V! With a quick consultation of my skin concerns and goals, Natalia picked products that she herself used to combat acne and add hydration. I felt relaxed throughout and she was very accommodating, explaining each product and step to me. My experience was wonderful, I highly recommend her and this school for the attention to detail and steps taken to encourage students to be better. The school itself is quaint with relaxing, private, and clean spaces. The pricing is the most fair and reasonable for the services, especially compared to some other specialty shops. I would return again and again!

Aria is amazing! She shows that she really has a passion for what she is doing and makes every step in her process suitable and comfortable for you! She explains everything she is doing so you are not surprised by something. I have a thyroid condition, which can cause me to bruise easily, and she really made sure the pressures she was using in the hot stone pedicure wasn’t too much to prevent bruising! I HIGHLY recommend her!

I genuinely appreciate a business that will genuinely apologize and make things right when mistakes happen. The student assigned to me didn't show up, which we didn't realize until after I had been waiting for 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. The staff was able to make arrangements for another student to do my luxury facial service. 15 minutes later, I was back in the service room with the new student. Since I had other commitments, I couldn't stay long enough to receive the full treatment, but the student still made it feel like I was still being given the full luxury facial experience. Again, they did great to pull together and make the most of something that had ultimately been out of their control. Because of their sincerity and desire to make it right, I'll go back.

I had a great experience with Gabby Lozano the other day when I got a salt glow treatment. It was so relaxing and so nice just to have my body exfoliated. It was so nice to be able to just lie there listening to the ambient music and great smells! She was fantastic at making sure I was comfortable and made sure I knew what she was putting on. She informed me on the procedure before to let me know what she’s doing. She took great care of me and I loved the results. My skin felt so nice and silky. The lotion she put on after felt very moisturizing as well as not sticky! I also got a nose wax done. At first I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if I would like not having nose hairs, but a i love it now. I feel as if I can smell in 3D. Doesn’t hurt at all and she made me feel at ease before pulling the sticks out of my nose. Such a fun little wax procedure to do!Would highly recommend going to Gabby Lozano for your services!

I didn’t know what to expect coming to a school for a pedicure. Carla was my girl and she did a great job. She told me that she was really new but she took her time and I’m really pleased with the result! You can’t come in expecting a massaging chair and whirlpool foot bath, it’s a very basic pedicure where everything is hands on. The plus side of this is they ask how you like your nails and will gladly fix whatever you see that isn’t perfect.

They let practice, I get pampered, lol. The staff is always very professional and cordial. I’ve always been particularly impressed with the eyebrow waxes and eyelash extensions that were serviced by Emma L. Give me mirror after one of those and I turn as vain as Tinkerbell! I also recently went in for a pedicure by Vanessa C. and was super impressed by her gentle touch and steady hand— my toes are so pretty! My only complaint ever would be that because it is certainly a school, sometimes the trainees and staff can be a little disorganized getting from point A to point B. It is noticeable, but does not really reflect on the quality of the services.

No school is perfect, but compared to the other esthetic schools, this school is amazing and actually cares about the students succeeding and providing information, products, and training to help us achieve that. There are those with negative reviews or outlooks on this place, but those reviews often come from individuals that were lazor rebellious. Not only that, but they truly didn't understand the school or the instructors . The director truly cares and takes so much of her personal life to fight for us and help us in this industry and field. This school deserves a lot of respect and applause for doing what it can to ensure we get the most out of the tuition we are paying. Yesterday, I had a great experience at Skinworks! As I wait for my Esthetician, I saw a few others come and go. I watch a young girl drop and spill a product all over the floor. Still plenty of others that are part of the school walking right passed. Cristan B (my esthetician) opened the door saw the spill and offered the girl help. The girl asked her to go get the mop. She made sure to make eye contact, greet me, and inform me she was going to help the other girl. It was then I knew she was an awesome team player!! We got to our cute little room that played relaxing music and instantly I felt calm. Cristan asked me questions which I thought I did OK answering online feeling like it was a repetitive, but she said have you ever had a reaction to anything then I really was like oh yeah huh this one time this and that. She listened! She took notes! She was concerned! We talked about using sensitive products and she recommended an ultrasonic tool to go along with my European facial. She had her instructor come in, she relayed everything I told her and mentioned her recommendations. The instructor was 100% on board. We then started my BOMB.com facial and Cristan explained everything and took extra time to make sure I was very comfortable. Her techniques and the warm towels were my favorite!! I love to talk.... guess what SHE LISTENED and engaged in conversation! I love that the most! She recommended so cool products and was not pushy sales at all but again ONLY recommended to me what she knew would benefit me. I am a Cristan fan and will hope she will accept me as a client where ever she goes after completing the course at Skinworks.

My manicure with Samantha was really disappointing as it was obvious she wasn't comfortable doing my nails and kept missing steps (such as buffing or the hand massage) and messing up the polish.
