I have been to VIP about 4 times and each time has been a great experience. Jenny and Lee both did a beautiful job on my nails each time and having David there to do extended massages is awesome! My nails have not once chipped or cracked or broken. Work is high quality. Definitely found my go-to nail salon!

Ommmggggg, this place is bomb, I usually go to two other places to get my nails done however, I will be going to VIP NAILS going forward. Lee did my nails, she is an amazing professional. I was 20 minutes late for my appointment and I was seen as soon as I walked in. I also called and said I was running late. Any who, Lee was so sweet and polite. She seemed to be rushing my nails however, they came out fantastic, I had the purple tiger eye nail polish and this lady hooked me up, this is the nicest and fastest work I ever had. She did not waste any time and I will be going to her going forward, thank you soooo much

Went in for first time today. Very strange how they did my “fill” Rather than taking my regular nail polish off with nail polish remover she used the file and filed it all off very roughly which felt very awkward I had also asked her to make them a little bit shorter not sure how they would normally do this at other nail salons but I’ve never seen this done before she then proceeded to use the file again to take small amounts of nail off until I agree that it was to the length I wanted. again, I don’t know if that’s how they do it another nail salons but it just seemed kind of weird to me that that was how they did it she cut me numerous times and whatever material she used for the fill was strange it was almost some sort of like glue/sticky substance almost with a honey consistency that she Used to fill in my nails she got asked me to put it under the UV light and as I let it sit my nails started burning she said when it get hot take your hand out yeah thanks for telling me to begin with she did listen to how I wanted everything And I am satisfied with the final product however the process to get there was very unpleasant and I paid $70 very expensive after my own experience and reading reviews I guess this is a hit or miss going here. I most likely won’t return

They did an awesome job on our nails. It was my daughter 5th birthday and first time doing "real big kid nails" they were awesome with her it was so cute. I love my gel set they came out great. I had my brows done a few weeks before and they came out awesome too! They clean/sanitize the stations in-between customers too.

I went here to get a pedicure this past Saturday and I have an amazing experience. I’ve been waiting to get my nails done since the whole pandemic happened and being 5 months pregnant I really needed it! I went in and everyone was very friendly. The woman who did my pedicure was very nice and respectful. I felt relaxed the whole time. After she finished I dried my nails and another man asked if I wanted a massage. I definitely got my money’s worth. And coming from the Boston area, it was worth the drive. I’ll definitely be going back soon!

The only reason I gave three stars is the staff is generally very friendly, which is nice. The first visit I asked for a full acrylic set, they don't do traditional 'acrylic' anymore, its like a weird gel, that I've honestly never seen before. However I'm open to new ideas and I tried it out. The tech was very nice, however the shape of my nails was a bit weird, and I did have her fix it. This manicure lasted four and a half days before it started chipping, and then day five the nails started popping off. Any other acrylic set I have gotten, even bad ones, last over a week. So it was disappointing. i did go back for a second service, a pedicure this time. I genuinely believe in second chances. The pedicure was great, but a week later my toe was swollen and ingrown, which is a sign of inexperience/someone cutting back toenails incorrectly. Mind you, I have never had an ingrown toenail. Overall disappointed, I wont be going back. Again, very friendly staff, but perhaps inexperienced.

Lots of good brand polishes, get the honeymoon pedi and your feel will be the softest they have EVER been. Minus 1 star because $20 just for gel polish toes, a bit pricey! But nice staff will go out of their way to make you comfortable and they are friendly!

I don't understand how they have bad reviews. This is the best nail salon that I have ever been to. Period. They are nice, and they listen to what you want. They offer you complimentary drinks. When you leave you get toe-less socks and flip flops so your feet aren't cold while your nails dry. The customer service is phenomenal. I don't even live in RI anymore, and I still come out to get my nails done because I know that when I go they are going to do a great job, and that they will treat me right. Plus they are affordable. I never feel like I am being swindled which is something that I have experienced in quite a few nail salons. I have never paid more than 50, and I get gel nail polish. Either way, hands down favorite place.

I went in for a pedicure today and got a 10 min chair massage as well. Got a discount for paying in cash. The girl who did my pedicure was awesome and the gentleman who did the chair massages was amazing. He mentioned how tight my shoulders were and it felt like alot of the tension just melted away. I will absolutely be back

I’ve gone there twice and haven’t had as great of an experience as I’ve had at other salons. (Recently moved to NP). Both of my sessions were rushed and my nails did not come out even on both hands. A little stressful when you’re trying to pick a color and they take your hands to start taking the polish off right when you get the chance to sit down. They’re alright just not consistent with the quality of the experience

I have been to this salon about 6-10 times in the past year or so for pedicures. I find it is very hit or miss with the technicians. I'd say I've been happy 70% of the time. Today my pedicure with Kitty was very rushed. She took about 15-20 minutes total for my "classic pedicure" and just went through the motions. This pedicure option is $30 and the cheapest one on the menu. I feel as though when Ive chosen an upgraded pedicure in the past a better job is done. My nails were hardly filed and the cuticles were hardly pushed back- which resulted in a big toe nail that was not straight and clearly dipped down in the middle after polish was applied. When I brought it to her attention she blamed me for cutting them too short. I filed it straight at home myself with no trouble, except for the fact that I'm due to have a baby in 6 days and can hardly reach! Which is probably why this experience upset me to the point of this review. I was not offered a water today like usual, and the foot massage was short and more of a quick calf rub. Not to mention she was chatting with her coworkers on either side of us the whole time in their language. (To the credit of those 2 technicians, they didn't respond much) I am very disappointed today.

I love this business. I started visiting VIP in Cumberland when it first opened a few years ago. I have never had nicer nails or toes in my life. James is my favorite technician and I have followed him from Cumberland to East Greenwich and now into North Providence. I won't let anyone else do my nails. VIP is a few bucks more than the typical walk in salon but the experience, the actual VIP treatment and all the extra benefits of this Salon make it well worth it.

I've been going to VIP Nails for over two years now because of it's location and reasonable prices but if I could find a better nail salon within the same proximity, I would be there in a heart beat. I've found VIP to be very hit or miss with service and quality. Yes the interior is nice and the people are pleasant but too often I leave not satisfied with my nails or worst, with a cut. Also, my polish chips quickly depending on who does my nails. I'm looking around for a new place.

Very expensive, staff not too friendly, but I had a massage and that was wonderful. 60 bucks for full set nails and gel polish had to go back 2 days later because polish peeling off tip of nail, they fixed but top coat peeling 4 days later... maybe try a different person for my fill. I did like the nail process, it's a dip, not acrylic.

Everyone is so nice I come in with my 6 month old and someone always plays with him and keeps him happy. I see Eric for my nails I get gel manicure and pedicure and he is great. It lasts and the paint is always perfect. They also give you a short free massage while your nails are being done

I agree that this service is spotty at best. It depends on the day you go, the time you go, and who you get as a nail tech. I've gone in there and had great gel manicures and pedicures and then there were other days that I left and I swore I would never go back. Overall I guess you could say it's 50-50.

Hidden gem. Gel manicure, pedi and great shoulder massage with no appointment needed. The staff is kind and helpful. It's a step above most walk-in nail spots. I feel spoilled each time I go.

Absolutely LOVE coming into this salon! I went in today for a organic spa pedi and a French mani and the person I had was so sweet! She made sure I was comfortable and took her time making it was perfect ( I’m super ocd about my stuff haha ) I absolutely wish I could remember her name but this is my new spot for sure

My acrylics came out so thin, straight and strong. And during another visit I was given possibly the best pedicure of my life. I'm blown away. Also, it's super pretty and has a relaxing atmosphere.

This store really went above and beyond to make her feel special. The employees are very nice and friendly people. The store is very clean. I have been going here since they opened. Every few months for a pedicure/manicure or even just a chair massage. Sometimes their busy and may slightly rush but it's never under exceptional. Their customer service is on point and I'm going in today at 2pm- can't wait!

As you walk in, you are greeted and waited on by what seems to be experienced individuals. However, not so much the case for all those who work there. I asked for a full pedi and mani. The young guy who took care of me did not remove any if my cuticles. They are si busy pushing for customers to add in more items to to their experience, that they lose sight of what needs th o be done.

This place is extremely over priced. I payed $30 for a fill and two of my nails broke only a few days after getting the fill. The nail lady laughed in my face when I didn't give her a perfect tip.
