I am currently a salon student. I started back in September of 2021 had to take a personal break came back March of 2022. The girls and teachers have been amazing to work with. My teachers are always great at answering questions and really helping hands on with you to make sure you get it. Our Director is just as great and has really helped with making my break transition easy. As well as always being there to answer any question and still checking in to make sure I’m still doing okay. All the other staff are just as great and ready to help too. Renee has helped with so much through the last few years with trying to help me figure out if empire was for me and answering all those questions and helping with anything she can. Empire really is a family. It’s nice to be part of such a nice community of supportive people and colleagues. Empire beauty school was the best decision I have made and I am so grateful for all the opportunities they provide us.

Went in for one of the haircuts. Student who cut my hair did a really good job. Love my cut! Teacher had to guide a few times, but I would recommend Empire Beauty school for a new hairstyle. Young lady was very sweet and professional!

I went to see Ornella to get a combo (facial and back) and it was the best decision I could’ve made! I hadn’t gotten a facial before so it was my first time and Ornella made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. She walked me through everything and made me feel extremely confident and comfortable. Throughout the entire time I was there, I felt so relaxed and was in shock when I got home. My face is glowing like it never has before and my back simply feels amazing and so smooth. I will be going back next month to get another one because of how amazing my skin looks AND feels! I couldn’t recommend this place more! Whether it is Ornella or someone else, I am confident and sure that Empire Beauty School will have you feeling just as good as me! I received a Back Facial as well as a Face Facial and it was so relaxing and professional. She walks you through everything, making sure you’re comfortable the entire time. I have come to Empire Beauty School for a few years now and every time I come I get exemplary service. I had Kayla today who did highlighting and a pedicure and both came out fabulous. She was professional, courteous, listened to what I wanted, and did what I asked. I couldn’t be more pleased with the services I received. Excellent job! On another note: Coming here during Covid, everyone was wearing masks, or almost everyone. They were cleaning in between clients. I felt very safe here today.

I’m so happy I live so close by to Empire Beauty School and they were able to schedule me an appointment the day I called! My hair dresser was Tai who was so sweet and did such a great job with my hair. She gave me a bunch of tips that I appreciate. I also got a chance to meet Miss Lavender who is incredible and you’re lucky if you ever get to meet a woman so vibrant and warm. Price was suuuuper reasonable because you’re getting a haircut from a student, and I enjoyed the atmosphere! Thank you! 💕

Today I went to the school to have my hair cut and trimmed I had Makaylaee the stylist who was excellent her knowledge of listening to Miss lavender was spot on. Miss lavender the educator teacher for nominal I highly recommend her staying there and teaching these young girls the knowledge that she has the professional way of her approach is amazing. So I recommend the school I actually made an appointment for a facial had one once before there and it was fantastic I look forward to going back. My choice to have my hair done whether it’s a cut or color facial pedicure manicure is Empire beauty school Providence Rhode Island.

I went to the Empire Beauty School Salon for a gel manicure and a pedicure on Saturday. The student who did my nails was very professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable with her and enjoyed making conversation. She was really focused on doing a good job and providing a great experience, and I definitely felt that as I was able to relax and enjoy. Unfortunately, I think she missed a step in doing my gel manicure because less than 2 hours later I noticed pieces of the gel polish missing from my nails. Within 6 hours, I had multiple bare nails where the polish just slid off my nails which I've never experienced before. At this point I have no gel polish left on my nails which is really disappointing since I was getting a gel manicure to have my nails look nice for a while :( The student put some type of cuticle/nail lotion on my nails and then applied the gel polish right after. I have a feeling she was supposed to have me wash my hands or use an alcohol wipe on my nails prior to applying the gel polish so it could adhere to my nail. Overall, the student made my mani pedi a great experience, and I would have rated this 5 stars if it wasn't for the gel polish falling off less than 24 hours later.

She would come up with innovative ways to explain some of the material in the book to ensure that we understood everything. She is very kind, and truly cares about the success of her students. Empire Beauty School has served as the gateway in accessing my deepest passions in the beauty industry. My journey to self love and self acceptance with my own beauty was always a struggle for most of my life. Growing up with a physically altering disorder, I always challenged the true concept and definition of beauty. Because of this, it grew an interest in me to exercise different aspects of my life in which I felt beautiful, which translated into hair styling, makeup, skin care and overall health. In 2016, after a medical diagnosis, I ended up losing the vast majority of my hair which devastated me. However, that loss translated into an opportunity to change the lives of others. I decided to leave my original career path and serve as an ambassador for the beauty industry wholeheartedly and make other people feel their most authentic beauty self. Empire Beauty School in Providence was the outlet I used to hone my skills as an stylist and give me the leverage to become a leader in the beauty realm in Providence, RI. It was one of the first times I’m my life that I looked forward to attending school. The education was focused and rich of information. I learned insurmountable techniques and skills from talented educators like Miss Corrie and Miss Diane. The level of professionalism evoked by the leaders of Empire is also something I truly prize and appreciate it. Starting Empire in the height of the pandemic, the administration and staff worked strenuously to make sure everything was safe, organized and efficient to give us very tool needed to succeed here and beyond. The application process was very smooth and peaceful, with the help of Renee who welcomed me with open arms. Empire has become more than a school building for me. It’s a part of my journey and story. It has become a place that I call home. Finally, it’s somewhere I highly recommend if you desire to take your passions seriously and dive into your greater tomorrow.

I don't know how anyone could give this place a bad review. I get my hair permed here for only $30. I've never had the same person twice which I thought would bother me, but everyone is well taught! Today I had Hayley. Yes, it took hours to get the perm. However, it again was $30 versus the $70 I used to pay. Her and I had fun talking and laughing. Great experience as always. 😁
