I love this small business, woman owned, exceptional.....really exceptional women work here. The women that own and help run this amazing little neighborhood business are simply amazing. If you're ever thinking about hitting up a place to go grab a tan and espresso....and you want to support a local small business....I dare you to give up your old go-to and come try this place. They're amazing!! Oh yes almost forgot....They make a blended Reese's peanut butter syrup espresso that another customer in the lounge recommended to me over a year ago and it is the best blended coffee I've ever had in my life! I've even brought my friends here for coffee and they all have gone back again and again and again! Sold first time! Oh and did i mention yet that the prices are amazing?

I have been tanning at Ambiance off and on for over 20 years! I absolutely love it! The girls are always so kind and helpful! Renee really cares about her customers and makes you feel like part of the ambiance family! If you’re into spray tanning, Renee does the best airbrush (Now a days you can’t hardly find anyone that airbrushes you, it’s always a machine) and it’s the best price in town! I’m pretty modest and have insecurities and she makes you feel so comfortable. I moved to Eugene and it was a nightmare tanning somewhere else! I would drive multiple times a week to Vancouver and made sure I got my tanning and coffee fix from my favorite salon! I love supporting local, small businesses and I will never stop coming to Ambiance! If you’re not into tanning at least stop in for a coffee! I always get the white mocha latte with white coffee beans and it’s killer!

Stella gave my husband and I the best experience ever! We will never go back to palm beach tan. It was our first airbrush spray tan so we were nervous. Stella made us so comfortable and talked us through the entire process. They have the best customer service and we LOVE OUR TANS!! They squeezed us in last mintute and are priced reasonably. We are now customers for life!! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Save yourself a headache and money and go to Ambiance:)

Great people! Nice tanning bed. I got a italian soda today and it was very good. I have never seen tanning and coffee shop together before. I love the fact that I can get a cold drink after a tanning sesh. Also, when I am done with my tanning package I will definitely come again for the drinks. Could you find a tanning salon any more friendly than this? ...I certainly have not! Renee and her staff are absolutely fantastic! Smiles all around. There are always clients coming in and out as well... it's nice to see a local business so busy! On that note, plenty of beds and rarely any wait times. The facility has a warm and welcoming feel. It is always very clean and comfortable. Beds are maintained well and pricing is also very reasonable. I have not tried their espresso but it is obviously very popular! If you're looking for a tanning salon, know that you will not be disappointed with Ambiance. Thanks, Renee and staff! :-)

I was looking for a local place to test an Infrared Sauna and they happened to have one. The new member special was about $10 for a 45 minute session. The staff was very friendly and polite and I would definitely recommend checking them out. The sauna needed to be sealed a bit better as it had some major air gaps and separations. But it was still OK. I think I'm just a bit too big of a person to fully enjoy that type of sauna.

Renee (owner) is so smart, sweet and helpful. She takes so much pride in the business she built from the ground up 20+ years ago and it shows in everything she does! Renee, Nicole, Christine, and the other employees work so hard everyday to keep the salon clean and welcoming, be very attentive to customers, make sure the tanning bed bulbs are replaced often, crafting so many delicous and refreshing drinks, keep stocked up on lotions, goggles, stickers, jewelry, cosmetics, masks, cleaning supplies, drink supplies, snacks, etc. The beds here work so well at giving you a deep, dark tan as well as maintaining it ! Renee & Nicole are experts at building the perfect tan, no matter what your skin type is or what skin issues you may have. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The spray tans also turn out flawlessly, the perfect shades and totally streak free, they make sure you leave with the ultimate glow! So many people ask how my skin turns out so beautifully! Everyone ive taken here has absolutely loved their experiences. This is my favorite tanning salon and always will be! 😍

Absolutely an amazing place! The owner is super personable and all the other girls that work there are fun to chat with. The whole crew tries to get to know you. They try to remember your drink pretty quick if you tend to keep to the same drink!

I just started going. I’ve never been in any tanning salon before. Have no experience or knowledge of any of it and I had the best first experience I think I could have possibly had. The lady was very friendly and helpful and walked me through everything and the environment was so pleasant and calming. I’m looking forward to buying a coffee here after a tan. Best coffee around, beds are always clean and well kept, pretty much what you would expect. The people behind the counter are the “5 stars”, Nichole is a absolute riot. They are very knowledgeable in tanning and lotions, and have never tried to upsell me in service or products. Coffee gives you a chance to hang out and get to know “the regulars”, great people.

I love this place. Only place I know of that opens at 7am. It's really nice to finish with the gym and tan all before 730am. Everyone is always nice and helpful and here and their they give free upgrades just so you can try a bed. I am not sure if they still have this deal but I pay 99 dollars for 3 months unlimited which I think is a great deal. Hope this helps anyone looking for a place to tan.

Never had been here before I walked in asked for info on their packages the guy was really informative and gave me the best offers and deals for what I needed. I've had the best conversations with the staff here just at random, plus when your done you can grab a coffee.... BONUS!! It's like cheers here when you walk in after a few times they know you by name, love the small town feel. I'll continue to come back

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing my air brush tan has turned out every single time I have gotten one from this salon. At least 6 in the past year. It is by far the best experience I have had with tanning. And I have tried at least 10 other places in the Vancouver area and none have compared to this. I feel comfortable and pampered and listened to. There is no pressure or up sales or hustle involved. I'm not rushed in and out the staff all knows the products they have and will answer any questions or concerns you have promptly and professionally. And i would recommend at least trying this place out for any of their amazing products one time because you will love it if you enjoy being spoiled.

First off, it's one of only 2 places I will go to get coffee and the only place in Vancouver. If you like actual coffee and not coffee flavored syrup that you get at the other small establishments that only hire teenagers that are either on speed or genetically altered to be way too enthusiastic all the time! Or the burnt coffee flavor that seems to be the trademark of one of the most popular chains in the world... then this is your coffee place! While you are here, if you happen to have a slight case of ginger-vitis, you can get a good base tan so when you visit your hot vacation destination and sit out by the pool, you will not look like a sun burnt overcooked lobster that everyone pegs for a tourist and you get targeted by scammers who take you for your life savings and leave you stranded in the bad part of town. Instead, you will look like you belong and women in bikinis, who are working their way through med school at night, will bring you free Mai Tai's and strawberry Daiquiris. ...Oh yeah, the staff is super nice and very helpful, great to talk to!
