Just got my facial from Abby Elsesser and let me just say… my skin is GLOWING! The whole experience was wonderful, Abby took the time to properly assess my skin, informing me the whole time on my skin concerns - what she would do to help me and how I can continue treatment at home. She took her time to take care of my skin and the results are absolutely stunning! Soft, smooth, hydrated and BOUNCY! I can’t wait to book with her again, and again, and AGAIN! I appreciate her and her knowledge on skin so much. I highly recommend to book with her!

Ashley Daniels is a gift to the hair beauty world! She takes great care in perfecting her craft, explains what she’s doing, and ensures that you get exactly what you want. I wanted a deep warm red/mahogany and that’s what I got! She also gives great beauty+hair advice and lets you know how long your color will last. Additionally, she is very skilled in working quickly and thoroughly; can’t wait for her to expand and open her own salon!! Oooh-also I was obsessed with my blowout. She gave me a beautiful bayalage and I loved how she recommended that I come in periodically for a botanical treatment to bring back the shine and get rid of the dry hair! Leah gave me a haircut the other night and it was the most relaxing salon experience I’ve had in my life! we started with a massage and then she washed my hair… best feeling ever! the instructors were super involved and Leah definitely was comfortable with her ability which shows she has great educators! Took a little me time and booked a 90 minute facial with Sierra W. yesterday. From start to finish was a gold star experience from this Aveda Institute student. As soon as you step into the spa area a sense of calm and quiet overcomes the business and excitement of having to walk through the salon. The room was set beautifully to enhance all senses to bring immediate relaxation. Sierra started with a wonderful foot bath, engaged with excellent questions about my skin routine and if I had any issues with my skin, then proceeded with my customized facial. I've had many facials over the years and Sierra's technique was perfect. My skin felt amazing! Highly recommend a facial with Sierra to help combat any winter dryness and bring some relaxation during this busy holiday season!

My son is very particular with his hair. He knows what he wants and what he doesn't. While this is great, it can be challenging finding a hair stylist that understands this and listens to what he wants. Martha did an outstanding job! She listened and knew exactly how he wanted his hair. I usually fear disappointments when going to the barber but Martha is for sure our go-to stylist now! She listened, understands, and does an amazing job! My son was really really happy with his hair!

I went in for a 60min facial with Anna Massey and had a great time. She did a great job at explaining what she did throughout the facial. The atmosphere was really nice and calming and I was provided with some delicious hot tea upon arrival. I don't remember all the products she used on my skin but I really loved the cooling mask and the cold jade rollers. I left with beautiful, moisturized, glowing skin.

First time going and well it was very different from what I’m use to. Taylor Langley came out and greeted me with a smile that made it just that much more relaxing. As she guided me to her station we talked about my haircut and how I wanted it. Great attention to detail and asked me how I liked my hair. Trust me I needed a haircut. The whole experience included a scalp and shoulder massage which was nice. She didn’t just give me a haircut from a picture she asked me how I parted my hair how I prefer the line up. The attention to detail was outstanding. The products she used were great to. After haircut got my hair washed with another scalp massage. Then she actually combed my hair and checked with me if that’s I liked it. Looked great. She did awesome. Totally five star experience

I have been here a few times for facials (all of them excellent), but I really need to recognize Halie. She's just outstanding. She's attentive, intuitive, engaging, and clearly knows what she's doing. She explains her process as she goes, asks probing questions to make sure she's on the right track, and is truly interested in offering her client the best possible experience. When she told me my hour was up I could have sworn it was only 10 minutes. Incredible. I just can't recommend Aveda, and especially Halie, highly enough.

I was a little nervous not seeing my usual barber but I’m glad I went! Frances did an awesome job with my cut, making a salon feel like a barber shop experience. Nice clean cut just in time for Thanksgiving. If you want a smooth fade and good experience give Frances a shot and she’ll make it well worth your time!

Alexa was extremely knowledgeable and her calming presence made my experience one that I would highly recommend. I have multiple skin issues and she addressed them all. Sarah was my student esthetician and I have booked her again to keep working on those spots. Her expertise made me feel like I was in the hands of an experienced spa professional! For the price you can’t go wrong.

After my first time at Aveda for a haircut, I will definitely clming back here every single time. Juliana did an amazing job with my trim and bangs/face-frame. I had decided to get a facial with Natalie G. and it proved to be very enjoyable. She brought me in and treated me very nicely and it didn’t take long to get started at all. She provided brief explanations of what she was using on me and what it would to for my skin as well. I have irritable skin but didn’t find nothing I broke out to at all. Very soothing and gentle as well. I was so relaxed it felt like the whole thing last 15 minutes and before I knew it, the session was over. Overall experience was very good and I’d go back for another one.

I wanted to come on here to express how much I LOVED my experience at Aveda!! From my sweet classmates that I will forever be friends with to THE most amazing educators- I will miss everything about the school. In my first phase of school (the first 300 hours) I had Alexus as my educator. From the moment I walked in to her classroom on that very first day I knew she was going to be my favorite person on the planet and that she was. She is patient, kind, thoughtful and so freaking smart. I learned so much from her and will continue to use what she taught me in my everyday life. She is seriously an angel and I can’t thank her enough for being the person she is and helping me so much through my journey!! In my second phase of school (last 300 hours) i had two different educators, the one who ended up being there full time was my dearly loved Trisha. Not only is Trisha the actual smartest person I know when it comes in esthetics but she is seriously the funniest person and has the best sense of humor. She taught me more than i thought could fit in my brain and pushed me to be a better person every. single. day. She recognized the effort I put into school and did not let me give up on any of my goals. Thanks to her and her little pep talks, I pushed myself to hit those goals. I graduated A- list, hit the phase numbers and have already taken and passed one of my state boards. She is passionate about what she does for a living and it shows. It was such a blessing to have her as my full time educator and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me. She is determined, loving, positive, caring and I will forever be grateful to have her in my life. Having such a short program is hard when you meet your best friends and then have to graduate and move on to the next adventure. I love everyone I had the pleasure of meeting through my program as an Esthi student. ALIYA -PLEASE DON’T LEAVE! 🥰❤️❌⭕️ I have been coming to the Aveda Institute for a very long time (a couple visits a month). I always get a 1.5 hour aroma body wrap and a 1 hour facial. MY ALIYA IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST STUDENT I HAVE EVER HAD! I even hesitate to say STUDENT! She came to the table with so much natural talent! I was lucky enough to find Aliya in the beginning of her school and so I know that she had ALWAYS BEEN AMAZING AT BOTH THE WRAP AND FACIAL! I remember talking to one of the instructors years ago who mentioned that a new class will come in-some students have raw talent, most can be taught, there will be some that just don’t get it. The ones that really shine are the ones that have the raw talent AND take away the teaching! This is ALIYA! She also is a listener! Every time I come in- she listens to me or better yet remembers from our visits before. She focuses on what I like. Went in on a low key time crunch to make it to ASU’s last football game for the season. Appointment was at 9:00am and the game started at 12PM. Alicia Case (IG Handle - @thealicia.styles ) was able to have me finished by the end of the 2nd quarter so that when I got to the game I was still able to see the last half of it including the halftime show. Wasn’t a simple appointment because we were doing custom color balayage on my long locks of hair. I had visuals of all sorts of colors that I had sent her previously and she put her magic to work and actually was able to get all the visuals in one look for me. I was so happy and extremely impressed. Of course was a little nervous at first because I had ‘virgin hair’ but she was able to calm the nerves-walk me through the process and it of course turned out beautiful. 100% pleased with her work and her passion/attitude with doing hair and socializing with her clients. She’s one of the best out there and would 10/10 recommend Alicia out there for anyone to utilize because she won’t disappoint.

She explained each process and each product that she was applying to me. I've been to the Aveda Institute a few times now, and I've always felt very taken care of by Chloe and her peers. However, two of the times I've come in, one of the educators, Zach, has been very disrespectful. He shows a lack of trust in his students and his feedback is considerably less constructive than the other educators (at least from what I've seen.)

Taylor F is nothing short of amazing! I saw her previously for a facial and she recommended a lash lift. Let me tell you, a lash lift is so worthwhile! With the tint, you don’t need to wear mascara. If you do? Your lashes look even more amazing. I went back recently for my second lash lift and tint and I would highly recommend Taylor F. She is so sweet and good at putting you at ease. She talks you through the process so you always know what is happening (since you can’t see!). She made me feel very comfortable and I will continue to come back and see her. Polite, knowledgeable and confident in his trade, took the time to understand what I was looking for and then took the time to recomed a few changes to improve on it. Caught a same day flight to Pheonix and I was able to stop in and grab some much needed Aveda essentials. Everyone in the store was so warm and welcoming and catered to my frantic needs, lol! To my surprise, I was able to get an appointment due to a cancellation. I wanted a trim and a blow out, but due to the hot temps Julianna suggested the Botanical treatment. She was on point with her recommendation! I didn't know that was a service offered, and let me tell you...it def moisturized and quenched my dry hair!! Julianna was so great I booked her for the following day for the Pramasana another rejuvenating service she introduced me too! Not only did my hair and scalp feel enlightened, my heart was full too! I have such high praise for Devon after my haircut today! Her professionalism and welcoming nature started before I ever sat in the chair. It was my first time to Aveda in Phoenix, and Devon walked me through the facility, which made me feel comfortable in the space. Devon is an incredibly talented and detail oriented stylist, but on top of that, she is an exceptional communicator. She asked questions before starting and checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure I was happy with the length, where layers would fall, the angle/length of the side bangs, etc. I could not be happier with my cut, and I am still in awe of how effortlessly Devon built stylist/client trust. Her confidence and kindness shine. I will absolutely be booking a follow up with Devon, and am so excited for her future!
