Queen Beauty Institute is the absolute best! I attended the January 2022 nail technology class and my experience was amazing from the very beginning. The teachers are amazingly knowledgeable, kind, patient, & they all care about the success of their students not only while in school but after that as well! The school is very family oriented & that made it so easy to get along with the staff, teachers & classmates. If you are interested in any of the courses here at Queen Beauty GO FOR IT!! You won’t be disappointed. Special thanks to Ms.Be for her continuous support throughout the course + after, studying one on one with me preparing me for finals & state boards! Ms.Laura for staying on top of us in the most charismatic way possible ( & always giving me 10’s on my nail art lol) & Ms.Sam for helping create such a fun / safe space for women like myself to chase after their dreams!

This was my first time visiting today and I was skeptical at first cause you think beauty school and its students working on ya , but let me tell you the experience I had was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and the instructors that watch over the students really stay on top of them overseeing what they do. I had the pleasure of getting Donna who did my hair and she was so pleasant and wanted to make my hair perfect which she did. I definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate on going back . I will definitely be returning in the future for all my beauty needs. They do more then just hair which is wonderful. Can't wait to go back and get more services done.

I am a PROUD QBI Graduate 👩🏽‍🎓of August 2022! I ABSOLUTELYYYY loved the curriculum, teachers, and all of the knowledge… as WELLLL as state law!!! They periodically post job postings for students as well as give opportunities to student teachers to help teach the class. Not to mention, they have a BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE!!!?!? WHAT SCHOOL YOU KNOW HAVE A BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE TOOO … I’LL WAIT! No more having to wait to go order something off of Amazon, when QBI students have the pleasure of purchasing goodies on their break and get a student discount too! I’ve networked with the Cos students AND Esthi students. The 2 months really flew by !!!😱😱 I miss them SOOO MUCHHH, but they will be seeing me again. A bird gotta leave the nest, but can always visit. Love QBI SO MUCH. Get ready to be challenged!!! 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾❤️❤️❤️

I recently went for a facial and some waxing by Lauren and I really enjoyed myself. The facial was relaxing and Lauren informed be about the condition of my skin and gave me a regimen with suggested products - which I really appreciate because I left knowing a-lot more on how to take care of my skin. Lauren also did my underarm wax (which I never had) and she was so patient and talked me through that first strip. I’m so happy she did, it went smoother than anticipated. And my last service was brows, I love the mapping she did before, and the results were perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

My first time ever getting an underarm wax and Jessica did such an amazing job with it. I’m loving the soft and smooth results. She also worked on my brows to help me reshape and redefine them. Took her time to walk me through everything. The staff and students are very friendly and nice. Queen Beauty was also a very clean environment…would definitely recommend this place!

Taylor did my very first facial and I absolutely loved it. She really focused towards my needs and my skin concerns. She listened to my concerns and was very considerate throughout the entire experience. She also made sure to communicate with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was aware of the products she was putting on my face as well as how it will affect my skin. it was a professional experience. i had got a facial. the person at the front desk helped to make sure i was taken care of after i thought i had an appointment. very polite. and the student who did my facial was very calm and professional. they took their time and did not rush the facial. even offered some tips that i will incorporate into my daily skin care routine. overall i am very pleased with this experience and am looking forward to coming back. thanks to everyone at Queen Beauty Institute!

I attended Queen Beauty Institute (QBI) this year for the nail class! Let me tell you, that class was so great! The instructors were very thorough, attentive and passionate about teaching the students all about the nails, nail diseases, customer service, career development and the list goes on. I felt like a part of the family. I was very sad when the course was over. I’m pretty sure I will attend QBI’s esthetician course in the near future. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s always a vibe when you go to class and that great vibe makes you more eager to learn. I highly recommend checking them out!

I went in for a facial and eyebrow wax done by Taylor and had an amazing experience!! I had the most relaxing facial ever and my skin and brows look beautiful after. My treatments were very thoughtful and detailed, and Taylor is incredibly talented! I will definitely be back for routine maintenance, highly recommend :))

I have been looking to go to school for the nail technician program for a very long time, and once I found Queen beauty Institute, I was amazed by not only the short length of the program, but also the hours and how affordable is it. It is a very fast pace course, but it’s definitely worth it. The amount of support from all the teachers you get there is amazing, and they don’t take no for an answer if you don’t know how to do something. I can go for hours on how great the nail technician program is, and how well the courses are put together, including the homework, quiz, and hands on portion, but to sum it up, because of Queen Beauty, I passed my state board test to be a licensed nail technician on the first try!!! Thank you all so much!! Can’t wait to come back for the Esthetician Program!!

I had a facial done with Amelian and it was such a great experience. I’ve had pricey facials done at expensive salons over the years and this was on par with those encounters except for a fraction of the price. Amelian was lovely; she was knowledgeable and had a very gentle but also firm touch when needed. My face feels so soft and smooth…even the extractions were gentle. I would absolutely go again! Everyone I encountered there from the front desk on was friendly and welcoming.

I just recently graduated from QBI’s nail technology program and I can honestly say it was a great investment in myself applying and attending this school. The teachers here truly care about you and your education. Miss Sam, Miss Be, and Miss Laura were the absolute best. They go above and beyond to help each student and to make sure we get as much as we can out of the program. My experience here was amazing and I’ve also met really great people in my class that made my time there fun. Instead of dreading going to school, I looked forward to going every Sunday- Tuesday. I learned a lot and met great people while I was here. Thank you to my classmates as well for putting together their own little graduation for me! After telling them I never got a graduation as class of 2020 they did this! I’m more than prepared for my state board test and I’m so thankful that my stay here was more than I expected!

i just graduated from QBI’s Nail Technology program last week and i loved every moment of it! although i’ve been doing nails for 2.5 years as a self taught artist, i learned so much from this program. they go into depth with nail anatomy, diseases/disorders, infection control, business aspects, and modern art- all things that prepared me for the state board exam. i really appreciate Ms. Sam, Ms. Be, and Ms. Laura for being the sweetest, funniest, and most caring teachers. from interactive, hilarious theory lessons to in-depth 1:1 help, all of my teachers were able to provide me with the support i needed throughout this course. not only did i love my teachers, but i loved my classmates and the strong relationships we were able to build. this created a great, supportive learning environment that i will forever cherish!

The positives from today's facial include the student who performed the service. She was professional, asked the right questions and informed me of what she was doing. The negatives: I'm not sure about why there was confusion as to who would be treating me, but it caused my start time to be late. Then, after paying, one of the staff asked her if I tipped her. I suppose she thought she was talking low, but she was not. Of course I had already tipped while in the room which is my business. And if she was that curious she should have waited until I was out of the building!

I recently graduated from Queen Beauty Academy and I have to say, Sam is an incredible teacher, with extensive knowledge and years (and years!) of experience in the industry. If you've ever seen an awesome nail design on social media, just show her and SHE CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO DO IT! I went from not knowing anything, to be able to do nail designs like animal print, galaxy nails, aquarium and a lot more. The Nail Tech program, full time is 5 weeks with an additional week for make up hours. There is an option to attend part time. The textbook that you study from is the same company that designs the state board tests for licensure. If you read the chapters, do the homework, and practice tests, there is a high probability that you will pass. You get plenty of quizzes, tests, midterm and final to prepare you for the state board exam. All in all, I highly recommend Sam and the staff at Queen Beauty Academy. The class sizes are small with plenty of hands on training. I've included an example of my final project. Lion King themed. I had no prior experience with nail art, designs, 3D, or acrylic!

I am very glad that I chose this particular school, I came from another country, my knowledge of English is very small, but the teachers supported me and I did not feel like a stranger. I got a great group. I am glad that I can apply this knowledge in the future. I went to support Miss Sarai and because my paws and claws were BADLY in need of some attention. Sarai took the time to talk to me and teach me a few valuable dos and don't about skincare for my feet. She even suggested that I use my voice and speak up about salons using graters on my feet to remove "dead skin". She told me my feet were too soft for that kind of treatment and it was beginning to lasting damage to my feet. She also said to cover my feet with Vaseline and cotton fuzzy socks overnight to maintain soft skin on my feet. Thank you so much Sarai. I loved my experience with you today. I will certainly be back.

I’m so glad that I won because it pushed me to go 10x harder. QBI is very educational, there’s a welcoming staff, and you learn so much there. I just finished my last day at QBI today, and I have to say it was an absolute amazing experience in their nail technician program. Ms Sam is amazing, encouraging and will challenge you to be your best self! Ms Laura and Ms Bea are also really amazing teachers, who offered different ways to tackle the task at hand. Ms Teka let me sit in on her business class today, even though I wasn’t an esthetics student, and it was really informative and gave me great information for the process of opening my nail salon and growing my business. They all were there if you wanted/needed some 1:1 help or to show you a technique. They honestly care about their students, and want you to actually leave educated and not just “licensed”. I truly cherish my experience at QBI, can’t wait to go back for my next licensing goal!

I went online and searched up a beauty school and queen’s was the first one that just caught my attention, almost like it was calling me. No lie. Since being here, I have to say that by far this has been an amazing experience and the knowledge that I have learned is more than I have paid for. Most importantly the support from the teachers and the administrators who by far I just admire so much and I literally don’t ever admire anyone. It’s almost emotional for me to hear them speak (although they will never be able tell… until now of course lol). Wow! Where do i start? I was in the process of a career change and decided that i wanted to look into becoming a nail technician. I found Queen Beauty Institute just off of Google. I read their reviews and was very impressed about what former students and clients were saying about the school. So i reached out and scheduled a tour of the school and was even more impressed. Ms. Teka, who handles all the administration for the school, was beyond helpful. She helped me start my process and getting everything together to start school. Which i truly appreciated! So let’s fast forward to the first day of orientation. It’s myself and about 11 other people there to see what Queen Beauty really entailed and had to offer us. We laughed, joked and got down to business about what we as the student was going to get from the school and what the school required from us. I main thing i received was support! It’s really just a family oriented environment that truly supports you. I ran into my own personal difficulties but not one person that i went to while i was there did not support me and give me options to help in my situation. Ms. Sam and Mrs. Laura we’re my teachers and those two together are just amazing. They treated me like family and genuinely cared about my well-being during and after. Let me first say everyone is going through some of the hardest times right now being as tho we are still in a pandemic. From social distancing to zoom class it is a big and major change for everyone. I would of never thought adding in the pressure of trying to go to school would be such a breeze. I went to queen for the Nail Technician program. The teachers there made sure they did everything they could to help me succeed. You can tell instantly the teachers loveeeeeee what they do. From zoom class to Facebook groups to demos and videos to literally receiving text message of nail art practices they made sure we had all the tools we needed to succeed. Sam literally stayed on Zoom with me... Yes ZOOM for hours just to make sure I understood and could perform different techniques of nail art. I think one late night she even put the eagles game on for me so I could hear it in the background as we practice nail art. Not only did she spend hours out of a day on zoom with me when we did come into the school she made sure each student had one-on-one time with her to learn, ask, or get help with anything we needed. When your in the school it’s such a family atmosphere Ms. Laura was also very hands on at helping me learn different techniques and helped me get more comfortable with my skills. To know that they are both right there every step of the way was so enlighten. They are not just your regular instructors the really take pride in there students and school. I am excited to have completed the program but I am sad to leave them.
