Today I was a model for Olivia W. For Amplify Tape In Extensions! Not only did she do an amazing job placing the wefts, she made a seamless blend of shades muse and vixen. This created a BEAUTIFUL naturally dimensional color. Her talent and professionalism by far exceeds the level of student.

I called and was able to get 2 appointments that afternoon with barbers in training for my daughter and I. My hair trim/cut was great. I was very specific and watched very carefully when there was cutting being done so no cut was taking much more than the split ends. My daughter's barber in training took a too short cut to start with so instead of 2 inches below the jaw it was barely jaw length so barely into 2 pig tales instead of a short pony tale to get it out of the way that she had planned. The instructor fixed it so the look was closer to what she wanted by texturizing the ends to lay down (fluffy hair was making it way shorter than chin length). She is now okay with it but will make sure to watch close and yell "Stop! I want longer hair than that." next time. She did state that she would make the appointment and request a female next time so that she would feel more comfortable since the barber in training actually told her that she was the first girls hair that he had cut. Definitely lack of confidence building unfortunately. I plan on going back to my barber Maurice because he checked with the instructor before cutting with what I had requested. I have the utmost confidence that he will be an awesome barber/salon associate!

I have gone a handful of times and all I can say is I LOVE their services. I have yet to have a bad experience, it is a school so I get new hairstylist whenever I go. My last appointment was with a sweet girl named Illene Q she made me feel comfortable and I absolutely loved the outcome. The atmosphere is always uplifting and I can’t wait to go again. I highly recommend!!

I was really feeling it today when I left and I've never felt so good leaving the salon before 🥲 Book with Christy T before graduation in February!

Went in for a lash lift and tint, and it was just meh. I probably should have left when the girl said their rods weren't the best. The tint took nicely, but I got no noticeable lift from the procedure. Like my lashes are just as straight as before, if not more noticeably so because of the tint. That's probably on me, I shouldn't have expected big results but I was hoping for at least something. The girl who did them was very nice and friendly though, and I only wasted $50. I wouldn't come back for any cosmetic procedures, but I might try out a haircut someday.

A Stephanie Moss academy? Was i believe just Xenon. Been to this convenient location for 20 years +-. 95% of time pretty good. They have lost services along the way at times.. Not as many students, though they now have Barbers. You CANNOT complain. Price is great for a man's cut. I pay like $12.50 with tip for a stylist, 7.50 and 5. 40 anywhere else. Women's services are inexpensive too says my wife. IT ALL GROWS BACK! Want perfection? Go somewhere and pay! Thank you students!

Have had 3 appointments with Maddie A. at Xenon so far. Maddie has done a excellent job on my hair every time! I’ve had haircuts, lowlight & highlights done. She really took the time to listen and make sure to give me what I wanted! I will definitely keep seeing her, as her attention to detail is the best! I really like the prices. However, I've had my hair colored here twice and the first girl was more experienced so she got it done very quickly. The next time I came in, they used the same color formula but the girl was less experienced so it took her a really long time to apply the color and it was significantly darker than what I wanted when it was rinsed. I'm not that picky and it's cheap enough for me that I don't care, but just remember that it won't always be perfect.

I presented Xenon with a little bit of a challenge. The length of my hair was a faded brassy green color which isn't an easy hue to get rid of. I think they did a good job for just the one visit so far to correct the color. The staff I met was also very friendly. I would/will definitely recommend Xenon Academy. You will want to plan to stay several hours so come prepared.

I saw Danna B about three weeks ago for a Brazilian Blowout. I have had many Brazilians in the past and she exceeded my expectations. My husband and I had her cut our hair this past week and we both were extremely satisfied. She makes you feel very comfortable, listens to you, and takes her time to give you the best service. I wanted them to blend naturally and she took the time to do little sections and make sure that the result and color was what i wanted. I would highly recommend her. Sure the academy takes longer than the regular full priced salon, but you can't beat the price and Emma was great!

Wanted to have my hair cut and a hair treatment done. Christy Thomas was extremely awesome! They were super friendly and made me feel welcome. They did a great job cutting and styling my hair, even gave me tips on how to style it while I'm at home. They helped me pick out shampoo and conditioner because my hair was frizzy all the time. I highly recommend them for cutting hair or even advice on makeup or styling! I'll definitely be returning to have them help me again! :)

I recently had a haircut and color treatment done from a new student named Christy T. She was kind, funny, and worked very hard to make sure the cut and color was exactly what I wanted! It came out gorgeous and the color is still going strong! I'll definitely be going back and asking for her again. I highly recommend Christy if you love dying your hair fashion colors and like edgy haircut styles.

I’ve been to Kennadeye A for a cut and a reparative now and she is AMAZING!! I had an absolutely professional experience, and I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments on my new cut! She’s very easy to talk to and is phenomenal at what she does - absolutely salon quality. Kennadeye takes her time to make sure everything is done right, and gives excellent input. I have naturally curly hair that I wear straight pretty often, and she made sure I knew how much my hair would shrink before cutting anything. I also have bleached my hair into oblivion, so she recommended coming back for a reparative during my cut. When i came back, she explained to me exactly what she put into my hair and what the purpose of everything was. It’s clear she really cares about what she does and the health of every clients hair, and I can’t thank her enough for all her help with mine. I’ll be going back to her forever!

Amazing stylists with professional and kind attitudes. You can’t even tell that they’re learning, they know exactly what to do when you ask, my personal favorite is definitely Emma S.O. Because she is so professional and talented, she’s also very kind and easy to talk to. She has given me multiple brow waxes and haircuts and they’ve all been of amazing quality. Skip your trip to great clips and come here instead. It’s cheaper and you get an actual salon experience with salon professionals.

The hair color was beautiful, i let her know i usually pick up green hues and she added just enough red tone to give a great color with no green! With her instructors assistance she impressed me with the use of different types of texturing cuts to get my hair to do as i wanted! Emma was very particular and took her time to make sure my waxing experience was a positive one! Her confidence was very reassuring, she made me very comfortable and relaxed, highly recommend her!

She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect and makes sure you are aware of anything she’s doing throughout the cut so there are no blurred lines and everyone is happy with the end result! I love the fashion colors & normally dye my own hair but lately I just haven’t had the energy so I figured I would try Xenon. I asked for my roots to be uplifted (grow out) & two colors, but not right side one color and left side another color. While Renea (I apologize if I misspell your name) was bleaching my hair, I was going back and forth..blue & pink or pink & purple. I finally settled on a blue & pink. “Be creative, no half n half”. I figure it’s hair, it’s semi permanent & it’s fun so no need to be serious. I’m the end, and with suggestions and help from “Ms S”, I have blue at the roots, blended to a purple on the middle, blended to pink at the ends. You could call it “galaxy”, but I call it “fantastic!” The price was great (about what I would pay to purchase the products & do my own hair), staff and students were fun and the atmosphere was friendly. I will be coming back. PS: no pic because I don’t like to be photographed, but I know my head was captured & posted on social media. Go fish ;)

I've got Plaque Psoriasis, and am very self conscious about it. It doesn't help I'm an anxious person, so years ago when my stylist started talking badly about me to coworker, it ruined haircuts for me. I stopped going regularly and only go whenever I must to treat my Psoriasis. I've gone today for the first time in years, dreading every second that went by expecting to hear a negative comment any minute. instead, I went from this Shaggy™ styled hair I've had for years, to the short and naturally curly hair I've always loved. I absolutely ADORE the look Emma Shields gave me. I got this really pretty natural dark redish purple dye that turned out AMAZING. I got a 1/2 inch trim and and a triagular undercut, and I also got my bangs trimmed. Service was amazing off the bat, very professional and kind. She was so good at listening and helping me feel safe and comfortable the entire time. She did everything I asked for PERFECTLY and I absolutely enjoyed the experience. I have been a long time customer with Xenon. Devyn M was my student for the day 6-26-20. She did a fantastic job on my color service and haircut. I have dark hair and it had a long grow out of grey hair with the extended salon closures in Nebraska due to COVID19. Needless to say I have been very anxious to have my color retouch! I have long, thick, dark hair with a good wave pattern to it so it can be difficult to get it to lay right when cutting. I really appreciated the care that she took to cut my hair and she was not afraid to call over an instructor to assistance when she was unsure. Often you find students want to come across as confident and will make mistakes because they are too proud to ask for help from their instructor. I was impressed with her maturity in doing so and have an appointment set up in 6 weeks to have color retouched again. My cut pulled a good amount of weight from my hair and it is looking fabulous! I've never had a bad experience here and the instructors dedication shows in their knowledgeable students. Thank you for the work you do because the service industry is not an easy one to work in and it takes a special person to do it, take it from one who knows. I've been in the service industry for the last 34 years. Kudos to you and see you soon!

I have never had a bad service with Jazzy J! I have gone in to get an undercut, to get trims, get my hair pressed washed, and to get reparative treatments. Every service has been amazing. I have seen so much hair growth since starting with Jazzy and my hair has been healthier, has more shine, and stays straight longer. If I could take her with me to South Carolina I would in a heartbeat. She doesn’t just do your service, she has a vision and a plan for your hair and where it can be down the road. I started with hair that was breaking and now have healthy new growth thanks to Jazzy J! I can’t sing her praises enough. Go to her, you won’t regret it.

This is a time consuming process and not only did she coach me on how to heal my hair from the bleach we would be applying, she did a great job on the actual placement! I often see a hard line on some balayage styles but you can tell she took great care to think about where and how the color would fall. HIGHLY recommend Tatiana!!

Xenon Academy is the place to go to receive facials, hair cuts, buy very good products for yourself as well as for your family and friends, but it is not all; I go to Xenon for their friendly and professional service, very good management, clean facility, and wonderful customer service. Kayleigh H. is that person I have recently had a pleasure to meet, chat, share some knowledge as did she. She is a modest and friendly person who knows how to listen, give a clean and nice hair cut (since that's all I wanted that day...), be patient and gentle with shampooing and rinsing, had a sense of humor and did not waste time. I am sure there are many other great skills I did not have the opportunity to see, but I would truly recommend not only for the price you will get but for all the features above. Leah B. knows her stuff! I came in not knowing what I wanted, I wanted to change things up a little compared to my shaggy longer hair but didn't know what to do. I was never really big on a developing a regular skin care regimen, except the use of a daily skin cleanser recommended years ago by my dermatologist. However, after going to receive my first facial by Daesha T, at Xenon Academy, I have made this an absolute must as a part of my weekly skin care regimen. Daesha T is very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on why it was important to establish a regular skincare regimen, explaining the importance of maintaining healthy skin. I went into Xenon with an appointment for a facial. I would like to start off by saying the young gal who did my facial did great. However, when it came time to pay the front desk lady “Kris” charged me $10 more than what we were told it would be over the phone. Being shy and having autism, I’m not good with social confrontation so I called from my car and asked why. She explained but it still didn’t seem fair to me so I explained how I was still under the assumption it would only be $35. I know $10 doesn’t seem like a lot to most but for a lady like me in college, $10 can get me two drinks from starbs and that’s 16 oz of pure joy I just wasn’t willing to let go of. Kris then proceeded to get quite rude. She simply sighed and said “K come get your 10 bucks back”. I was terrified to go. Every step I took leading up to the door haunted me and my legs were shaking. When we walk in there’s my two five dollar bills sitting there, waiting for me. I quickly grab them and scurry out. I’m glad I got my money back but I don’t know how to overcome the crippling anxiety and trauma I had to go through to get it.

This will be my 3rd experience at Xenon, although the stylist and or techs I’ve had each time are kind and personable , I ask myself every time ‘Are the reception ladies , xenon employees or disgruntled students who are forced to work the front desk?’ If I didn’t care about helping the students get their hours and fine tune their new skills , I’d likely not go back. The front reception can make or break a business, the people at xenon reception should be enthusiastic, kind, and helpful. All ages of folks walk through that door and communication and direction is very lacking. I hope this improves for the sake of the hardworking students.

Once the “teacher” came along, she “corrected” her and totally messed up my beautiful haircut i had asked for. I was so upset, told her she what she just did and tried to “correct” it.
