I went to Sugared & Bronzed a few days before my wedding on recommendation from a friend of mine. I brought my mom and sister and they did an incredible job! It was natural looking and I got a lot of compliments on it. This was my first spray tan, so I was a bit nervous, but everything was explained well and my worries were put to ease. I'm so glad I decided to go here before my wedding!

They are so amazing!! Very comfortable atmosphere, and welcoming. The Sugar is way more gentle compared to wax, and I’ve noticed the hair takes longer to come in. They take their time to make sure every hair is out :) highly recommend !!!

The establishment is very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The sugarista was very informative about the service. She explained the entire process to me and answered all my questions. It did not hurt as much as expected. The application hurt somewhat but the process was pretty quick. The clean up was soothing-cold rag and witch hazel. Will definitely be going back !

Everyone is always so welcoming here. They immediately make you feel comfortable, and don’t leave you any guess work (e.g. what “shade” to get, how to avoid the awful orange hands or feet, what to do after you leave). And of course, the tan looks surprisingly natural!

Each session is clean, quick, and efficient! The Sugaristas are all super friendly, which makes the session feel way more comfortable, and was especially welcomed during my first visit. They always take the time to ask your preferences before a session and how you’re feeling after—service is top notch every time! I’ve found Sugaring at S+B to be much more pleasant than traditional waxing ever was. Highly recommend!! Hoping for future S+B locations to arrive in the Midwest area soon!!

Was scared of spray tans after witnessing a classmate's orange zebra-striped situation when I was in high school. Almost twenty years later I had to bite the bullet and give it a try. I was a little nervous, having never gotten a spray tan before, but the staff totally put me at ease. The process was simple, my technician was lovely, and the tan came out beautifully and natural. I've had many spray tans over the years, with varying results. Chanel at S+B (Murray Hill NYC) was fantastic! The application was professional, thorough and done with absolute skill. Updated review: It really depends which person you get for the spray tan. I've had 2 really good looking tans and 2 streaky ones with big white spots on my arms that showed up hours later after the tan developed :( I wish you could request a certain person to tan you

I love Sugared + Bronzed! The staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The space is clean and bright with a beachy feel that makes you feel instantly relaxed! The appointments typically run on time and I've never had an issue booking on short notice. I've done the Brazilian Sugaring several times and have always had a good experience and have been very pleased with the results! If you're a regular then the membership packages are definitely worth it.

This is my 4th visit with this company and 3rd with this location. Very friendly staff. Smells so good when you walk in. Everything is clean and gives a beach vibe. I go for the Brazilian sugaring every time and they always do a great job. I love the service so much, i am now on a subscription based membership. I would recommend this over waxing because it's definitely more sterile than most wax place. I always am concerned if the wax they used have been used in others before i discovered sugaring. Once i knew they have a fresh set for each client, i knew i would never return to waxing again.

They make me feel comfortable every time I go in. I have never personally received self-tanning services here, but my best friend did and I was with her the entire week afterwards at the beach. I absolutely love coming here. The staff is super friendly, informative and do a great job at making you feel comfortable. The place is also super clean and feels very welcoming. It also feels so good knowing the ingredients are all natural and plus it’s $59 for the first two times. Also I think this location is a lot nicer than the Union Square one in my option. It’s bigger and just seems brighter and more inviting. Ive never been waxed before and have only gotten sugared twice. Both times was with Jaqia (don’t know how to spell her name) She was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable. She talked me through everything and made the process a lot more pleasant. I would definitely try to get an appointment with her if you can. I became a member after leaving the second time and I won’t get sugared by anyone else. Though I’m sure the other girls are just as great :)

All tanning employees and trainees are extremely professional and always explain the process, as well as any things to watch out for to make sure your tan lasts. This was my second time at this location and I will continue to book my appointments here as long as they have availability! The location and the late appointments work well with my schedule, but walk-ins and next day appointments are difficult to come by, so be prepared and book your appointments ahead of time to be sure you get your needs taken care of. My last appointment was with Jessica, who made the sugaring process quick and easy! She was very friendly and made the process comfortable. Grace, who was working the front desk, welcomed me when I arrived. She made sure I was taken to my appointment on time and completed my checkout/payment seamlessly. I originally found this company in LA and I am so happy they are on the east coast now!

I have went to Sugared + Bronzed twice so far and absolutely loved the results! I went from constantly having to shave every couple of days to never shaving at all anymore. The hairs take about 3-4 weeks before I feel the need to go back and even then, they grow back very sparingly. I have had an amazing experience at Sugared + Bronzed. I have done the express spray tan, and it lasted over a week and gave me a beautiful golden glow without feeling sticky. The spray tan is done by a person, not a machine, so it comes out even and they take extra time to make sure that you are happy with the results or if you want another layer of color. I am so happy to have found Sugared + Bronzed and even happier it is in my neighborhood! My new favorite spot!

Gorgeous interior, friendly staff, and long-lasting results! I find sugaring to be a bit more painful than waxing (since sugar is applied against the direction hair is growing), but so worth it to know they use only natural ingredients. My first ever appointment was with Jordan Cozens and she was amazing - highly recommending trying to get an appointment with her if you can. I have had a few last minute scheduling cancellations, but their customer service is unmatched. My account was credited for the trouble, and Courtney (the founder!) reached out personally to apologize. You can tell that they really care about their clients here.

I had a great first experience at Sugared + Bronzed. The sugaring technician was really friendly, made me feel comfortable, and walked me through what she was doing every step of the way. I loved that there was no redness or inflammation after the appointment, as there usually is with waxing. Sugaring hurts a bit more than waxing, but my technician continually checked in to make sure I was doing ok. It was definitely bearable, and the technician explained why sugaring was better for your skin and hair follicles so I'm sold. It's also all natural (only made with sugar, lemon, and water), so I feel a lot better about putting those ingredients on my body than questionable wax. I'll definitely be back!

Love this place! My first time going here was last month & today is my second. I go here for Brazilian sugar waxing and so far I love it. The employees are very attentive and helpful. They also speak to you while they are waxing you so that you don't think about the pain. But honestly it is way less painful than waxing with the strips. If you have sensitive skin, come here!

I get the bikini sugaring done and it by far WAY better than waxing. I had a great experience tanning with a trainee. I was a little nervous because it was unclear how much experience the trainer would’ve had before my appointment, but I was totally at ease when a trained tanner came in to supervise and guide the trainee through the whole process. The appointment still only took about 20 minutes. The tan ended up even and beautiful, just like I had experienced with my regular appointments. I was even able to get an express tan for the same $5 fee. Since I live close by, I’ll definitely be taking advantage of more trainee appointments as they come up.

Once you go sugaring, you won’t go back! Best form of hair removal I’ve ever done, lasts way longer than waxing and grows back much thinner (if at all) in some places. As far as tanning, I’m really pale so finding a good spray tan that doesn’t look obviously fake is crucial. 10/10 would recommend. Plus the salon is incredibly clean and chic!

I had my first visit yesterday trying the sugared Brazilian wax. I had a great experience with Mika. She was very professional, careful, and explained everything she was doing very well. She also didn't mind my questions and is great at making conversation. Although I am used to using regular waxing, I wanted to try the sugared wax experience and I'm happy that I did. Yesterday I went to the Murray Hill location for a tanning session with a trainee. I truly don’t remember her name but what I do know is that she was THE sweetest thing, and was very reassuring seeing as how this was my first airbrush tan. She made me feel comfortable and was such a good conversationalist! Walking in, I had the impression that this was an upcoming store, was super clean and organized. I’m a pretty big germaphobe and I felt so at ease here. I got the level 3 tan and it literally looks like I spent a week somewhere tropical. I definitely see myself getting addicted to these tans as they’re organic with no harmful ingredients! And the best part— the results. Will DEF be coming back and trying to find my girl!!

At first I was skeptical because I didn’t think such simple ingredients could actually remove thick hair like mine, but wow was I wrong! Love it so far! I had never had a brazilian wax or sugaring before, and so far I've had two at S+B. It's definitely painful for someone new like me, but they do a good job and especially after my first time, they were able to get it done pretty fast. This was my first airbrush tan experience and every aspect was great. Friendly staff to check you in. Great techs that make it not awkward during the tanning process (ie, being naked in front of them). The tan came out amazing! I immediately saw color (I had the standard #2) and had compliments from people at work. I have fair skin and oftne lose my natural tan quickly. I've been so happy that am on my 4th visit. Highly recommend.
