Joni is the girl that runs this location. She knows her stuff! Shes friendly and can answer all your questions. Actually all the girls are friendly and supportive here. They offer several services here. They offer a few different tanning beds. A stand up and 2 different lay down beds. They also offer a hydration steam pod,tooth whitening light, hydra massage,a massage chair,red light therapy for the face as well as full body red light (highly recommended), hot works,and a sauna. I personally book my appointments,but an appointment isn't necessary.

I love this place. It's a short walk from home, yet I feel like I never left! The staff learn your name, start you on a personalized regime, and strive to make you feel pampered. I walk in and my service is ready. In the rare event it isn't, I'm encouraged to relax on the massage bed or wait in the lobby and soothe my feet on a massaging box. Every month there's a membership appreciation day, and every day I can bring a new friend to try services, free of charge. Definitely if you have goals, walk in and try out the services.

This salon is AMAZING! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their products and services. They go above and beyond to accommodate their clients. I have been here for about a year and they are constantly bringing in new products, sales and promotions to better the experience. Thank you guys, I wouldn’t be tanning at any other salon!

I've enjoyed the massage options at planet beach Riverbend. The hydro massage is my favorite. Water jets massage your back and you can adjust things like intensity and where the jets go on your body. It's nice and cozy. The massage chair is awesome too. You can customize the program and they provide oxygen too! 5/5 would massage again.

I don’t understand any thing less than 5 stars! First off every single person I have ever met here has been above and beyond with friendliness & professional. The services here are amazing and they tell you everything you will need to know and always give you free samples to try out. They offer so many things from 3 different tanning beds different brands for the spray tanning booth red light Hydration teeth whitening massages oh yea and hot works and sauna btw you can watch Netflix in! They also have soooo many products for sell its so fun to go tan everyday you never know what new items are on sale or just arrived. The beds and other stations are PERFECTION you will be so relaxed when it’s time to leave. You can’t go wrong going to PB riverbend or Dante whichever you prefer to call it. They will soon become your besties and will always have your services ready for you. The prices are very reasonable also! Thank you PB for being amazing I’m so happy I started going here from Elmwood location they were I will just say unprofessional and not nice to the clients but you guys went so above making sure my time with you guys was nothing less than Just PERFECT ❤️❤️❤️ I wish I could give more than 5 stars you guys deserve it!

I first went in for a free service months ago was given 2 passes to bring myself and someone else for $20 spa day. My brother and I decided to try out a membership and we love it! This location is not the closest to my home, yet the staff are great they make my experience convenient and worth the trip.

Planet Beach Riverbend is awesome!!!! Joni & Lexi are always so helpful. The facial and hydromassage is the Bomb!!!!! I've been going for 5 months and most of the sun spots on my face are gone! Worth every penny!

This place is very nice. Joni is fantastic. I spent ALOT of $$ at this location. Reasons for the 3 stars are this: upon Covid (we all know) business were closed. I had prepaid for services, but like others, due to Covid ,money was tight. I left several messages asking for a refund of the prepaid services since no one really knew when businesses would re-open. Did not hear back, ever. The Business has now re-opened however I never received any notice about the re-opening and had no idea. When I called again I communicated about not having a return call after several messages, (because that is what a good business owner does, is return calls), I was greeted by the owner on the other end with condescending remarks ( i.e., she did not know she needed to personally call me of the reopening, I was to explain to her why she would owe me a refund, and they had a note on FB, etc...) The owner stated in one breath messages were listened to and the next breath her residence is not in New Orleans so messages were not answered. The owner missed the whole point; a mass text letting MEMBERS, know the facility is reopen and a bit of communication with MEMBERS that had left several messages was all I wanted to explain. It feels awful being spoken to rudely by someone whom I have invested $$ and time into their business. As long as you don't have to experience the brash comments and communication by the owner this place is clean and Joni is amazing!

Not only are the services awesome but the staff here is amazing! I chose to be a member at this location even though I have a closer one to my house because I am so impressed with the customer service. Fletcher is amazing! Always friendly, helpful, accommodating, and professional. Love this place!!!

Hydro Massage, Sauna, Red Light Therapy & Hydration Station are my favorite!! I have been a handful of times to do these services and I have lost about 9 pounds all together in Sauna& Hydration Station! After I get out of those I always do Red light to help get rid of my wrinkles and fix my flabby skin. THE HYDROMASSAGE IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MAINLY BECAUSE I FALL ASLEEP EVERYTIME! IT'S SO RELAXING!! Staff is awesome as well as they walk you to your services and meet you when you get out of every services to walk you to the next. They listen to you tell them about your day it's like therapy & relaxation all in one!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

This place, matter fact the amazing spa, is the best spa I have ever been to in my life! It is professional, elegant, and wonderful! I love the staff and also the customers. Everyone is welcoming, they offer you water, and always have discounts. Like planet beach uptown the THE PLACE TO BE! I recommend this to everyone, young and old. The new management totally rocks!

The ladies here became like family to me! I was a member at this location for almost 4 years until I had to move away for work. Had a slight billing issue that was swiftly resolved by the owner, Vicki. I would still be a member here if I lived closer!

I have been to several Planet Beach locations and this is by for the best. The staff is very knowledgeable and very up beat. This location was also very clean, like any high end spa. I love this planet beach. The staff is always knowledgeable on the products as well as the services. You definitely get treated like royalty here. The hot works is a great replacement for the gym. So if you're a busy person like me and can't make it to a gym, this place is perfect with added spa perks.

Since Trevor, Spa Director, and Kelley have taken over, they have elevated the customer service to another level and go above and beyond every time I walk in for an appointment. The rest of the staff have all been exceptional as well. I use almost all services they offer and love each one. Such a treat every time I walk in!

Overall I've had a great experience atPlanet Beach on Tchoupitoulas. All employees I've encountered so far have been nice, informative and helpful. I wouldn't say it's the cleanest but compared to other places I've been to in the area it's ten times cleaner.

They have a new spray tan machine that is AMAZING. It was the most natural looking spray tan I have ever received -- and for a great price! My overall experience was seamless. They give free foot covers, while other Planet Beaches in the area make you pay for them. It was pouring rain, and they used an umbrella to walk me to my car to make sure my spray tan didn't get ruined. Highly recommended!!!

Not only are the services absolutely amazing, the staff are equally amazing. Every month they spotlight a members business for Member Appreciation. I have friends that sent me to PB uptown. Everyone there is happy and always ready for you yo walk in ready for any request you may have. All of the girls and boys are always happy and smiling. Fletcher has turned this place into an intamite place to relax and enjoy the services. The new Hot Box Detox is really nice. I didn't think I would, but for 30 mins I can do it. Actually I love doing the HBD and there is a meditation session too. Go in. Give it a try. Don't like it don't go back but you will like it......
