I wasn’t a “nail girl” until I found Happy Nails 💅 Got an ombe dip manicure with tips for my bridal shower and got so many compliments. Went back for the yellow sunflower design and switched to acrylic, which I loved, and just went back for a fill and change to the pastel colors. Never had a nail fall off or even chip. They’re also super quick—I’m always in and out in less than an hour. Prices are marginally higher than other places I’ve been, but it’s worth it for the quality and service. I’ve had a different nail tech every time and they’re all phenomenal. Love this place and couldn’t recommend them more!

I went to Happy Nails for the first time last week and was not satisfied with my acrylic manicure as my nails began coming off within 3 days of having them done. Once the nail salon heard of my experience, they immediately reached out to ask about what happened and how they could help. They offered to redo my nails for me with gel dip as it would be the better option for my nails. I went and got my nails redone and I absolutely love them. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

I don't like paying for services like this ahead of time, but did without complaints. The woman next to me paid after her service, so that was weird to me. Oh, bring cash or you're charged more.

I had such a great experience thanks to Trang Vo! :) The day before I went to Happy Nails, I got my nails done at a different salon. I had gotten a dip manicure with white heart stamp/decals on each finger and let’s just say……I spent $90 only to have to go get them fixed elsewhere the following day. When I went to Happy Nails I showed the staff the crooked hearts, speckled/faded dip, & bubbles/warping in the top coat. Trang gave me all the books to pick out a new dip & immediately got to work removing the old dip. She did this quickly, but gently by gently buffing the top layers off with precision & soaking the last one in tinfoil. It went so quick! She was multi-tasking with other customers & was still so attentive to my nails. She even re-shaped my nails multiple times throughout the process to ensure my shape was maintained. I ended up picking out an even better shade of red dip & she applied the perfect amount of layers to make sure it was vibrant. I picked out new white chrome/holographic hearts & she placed them perfectly on 4 accent nails. She was so precise with her file down of the dip to make it a smooth surface to apply an even top coat to seal everything in. She gave me cuticle oil & a shoulder massage at the end while we waited to be sure everything was dry. Probably one of THEE best manicures I’ve ever had & it was a last minute walk in to fix a previous manicure. I’m beyond impressed by Trang’s skills & ability to execute such a difficult manicure. Thank you so much! You are very talented!

Nga Do did my nails and GURLLLLL so GOOD!! Love them and are exactly what I wanted. She was very patience with with me when I was trying to find a color and showed me them too, usually I feel anxious and regret the color later but she let me look and take my time. I really appreciate her and her work, will definitely come back. Pictures don’t do it justice, but literally got compliments right after I left, so good:)

I got my first mani/pedi since covid began here! My pedicure turned out perfectly, Hang Ho did an amazing job! She is very gentle and does amazing work, she knows what she’s doing. Unfortunately I got a different tech for my manicure. My manicure turned out bubbly, clumpy, and thick. I had the gel on for about five hours before it began to peel on my thumb (pictured). I called to see if I could get them fixed, and the manager redid my whole set.

A few heads up: Masks are required which It wasn’t shared prior to me going and I made an appointment over the phone. They charge $1 for masks. It’s prepay which I don’t have a problem with, but again wasn’t shared or posted on website. My tech was aggressive with my hands and fingers. I got cut by the drill as well. the full set was okay I guess. I was only shown 3 gel color books but I saw probably 7 more books of colors. After the top coat was on, my tech just walked away (I paid cash and she didn’t give me change). She also started cutting her own nails while doing mine???

Nice place, friendly people, and they did a good job on my nails. Only issue is that they charged my card, didn't have me sign the receipt, and didn't give me a copy of it either. Had to go on to my cards website to make sure I was charged correctly. Also, no way to tip if I don't get the slip to sign, and I wanted to give them one. I'll probably go back again when I'm in the area.

I haven't gotten my nails done in many years, and with my frustration that they constantly break during the school year for me, I decided to try getting a full set. Khanh was wonderful in answering my questions, making recommendations, and explained every step as she went. My nails turned out beautifully. The space was well lit and clean, and the energy was friendly and social. I will be back to see Khanh in three weeks for my fills!

I started going to Happy Nails at the beginning of 2017, and with the exception of things being shut down during COVID, I went there every three weeks for almost six years. I recently moved to Boston, and have yet to find a place that does the caliber of work that the crew at Happy Nails does - especially Nga Do. You should definitely make these folks your go to in Saint Paul, I miss them so much.

Got my nails done a few times here (as a walk-in) and received immaculate service every time. The salon is kept in perfectly clean order and both my nail techs, Lan Do and Anh Tran, paid great attention to my detail oriented nail designs. I first went here with a simple picture and received gorgeous nails every time after, despite being a nervous novice to the nail world. What really brought me back to this place was the persistence and patience I received from Lan Do when I first came in. She educated and advised me on how it all works, so I could have a better idea of what I would like. I LOVED the turn out. My pedicure, with gel, lasted weeks and my dip manicure did not budge for an impressive amount of time as well! My nails do grow far too fast, but it is not an issue up-keeping them here when I have a moment, as the salon is beyond flexible. As a student and healthcare worker, it is difficult to keep beautifully intact nails and have time to regularly get them maintained, so it means the world to me that I am treated with great care whenever I walk in. Lan Do and Anh Tran, and as I have seen with the other nail techs here, provide a personalized awareness and service catered specifically to each client they serve with great care. They really do collaborate and work together to make sure a trip to the salon is beyond worth it! I am grateful for the wonderful talent that moves mountains to pamper and relieve us of stress. If you are considering this place, 10/10 go for it! They’ll make you a whole nail addict.

Honestly I think anyone who has been to multiple nail salons knows what you get. The service is usually good but inconsistent. Like many salons, when they get busy they will try to fit you in even if it means a long wait or rushing service. Also it’s a strange detail but I find their chairs are a little uncomfortable. Also in all, it’s about the same as I’ve been anywhere else! (I usually get a dip manicure)

I recently moved to Saint Paul from Boston and had the hardest time finding a nail salon that I actually liked, until I came here. Everyone is so fantastic and incredible at what they do. Today I went in for birthday nails and a pedi. Lan Do did my pedicure and was absolutely fantastic! I got a long leg and foot massage with it, that was just what I needed! I won't go to another nail shop. I was looking for a place that could keep me instragram ready, and I found that at happy nails. They have the biggest selection of dip colors . They fix my broken nails for free and that massage always is q plus. It is usually busy but they greet you immediately and get you in quickly .

Above and beyond expectations! A well-kept salon with friendly staff. Great experience booking my appointment from their website. I chose the organic dip powder manicure, which I've had done once before at a different salon: my mani here was better than my last one. My manicurist (Nga Do) was friendly, paid extra attention to filing and shaping, and threw in a shoulder massage while my nails dried at the end. I was really stuck on the chrome trend but didn't want acrylics or gel, so she tried chrome acrylic on top of the dip mani as an accent nail and it turned out great. I will be coming back! Update: The chrome peeled off the next day, but the dip powder nail underneath it was still perfect. Just had to throw on a clear coat of polish.

I was never interested in getting my nails done until I tried dipping powder at Happy Nails! The nail techs are all so talented and nice. I always get the best quality, with great attention to detail, and with hardly any waiting (even though I usually walk in without an appointment)! The dip manicure holds up to every challenge for weeks. My nails have never been so long and looked so good!

This places can be described in two words: overbooking and disorganized. I was recommended by my friend who apparently always come here and loves this place. I made an online appt on their website which by the way was very overwhelming with information but somehow I managed to do it. I was told by my friend that the best nail tech was Loan so I wanted to make sure i would have her when I come in, so right after making the appointment with her I contacted them on Facebook to double check that. I also was sold on their eye lash extension service which Loan also does it beautifully, so I told them I was coming in earlier to get that done before my nails. Everything was apparently fine until I walked in and got myself inside this loud, extremely busy and disorganized place. The manager Thuy Ho was at the front desk and she put me on table 10. 7 minutes later she shows up and start doing my nails. I asked about loan and why she wasn’t doing my nails and she tells me she has someone else with her and they didn’t want me to wait. I was very upset but I needed to get my nails done so I let it go. I got up to wash my hands and Loan is right behind me about to start with a new client. This was not even 5 minutes after we began. I was furious at that point but I had already started so I let it go again. The manager keeps the phone next to her and every time it rings, SHE ANSWERS. She literally stops what she is doing and get the calls. She got up 4 times to write names down on her agenda and one of those times she dropped my $1200 bag on the floor 😫!!! I mean come on!!! The floor was nasty dirty as well as the mani table, and on top of all that she is rushing off to finish my nails and she cut me!!!! The place is packed and there is a line of people waiting and I understand it’s the holidays and such, but nothing justify getting my nails poorly done. You will be able to see on the pictures. I finished my nails and asked about my lashes and they said: you will have to wait 40 minutes until Loan is done to start your lashes or in 30 minutes I can get you a different person. I was so fed up with them I left. I tip her 20% like I always do and she didn’t even said thank you. She looked at the cash, grabbed and left to the next client. To be honest I am not sure if I will come back to give this place a second chance! I wanted to maybe actually get LOAN to do my nails but idk. I definitely won’t recommend it until I can prove myself wrong PS: an acrylic fill with no shaping, no cutting, no design, no nothing was $42.

YES!!! I've left a lot of nail reviews and they should all be deleted now. I have been to this salon twice and had KHANH do my nails both times (I requested her the second time.) - she is amazing so bring her a tip in CASH! Seriously, her work is the most perfect I've ever had and shes so detailed and careful. I'm super picky and do my own gel polish at home, usually because I am never happy with how salons do it. Khanh did a dip powder mani for me both times and they are stunning, I am really impressed. She is super sweet and kind and I hope I can go to her forever! The bar has been seriously raised by her work and now I finally have those nails that you see on instagram, perfectly shaped, pretty and no sloppy work!!!! I love her! The dip mani was $47 if you pay with a card, and bring cash to tip.

Happy Nails is our new favorite nail salon! I like you can schedule appointments online or by calling, with great hours too. The salon is large, clean and COVID SAFE (precautions like frequent hand washing/cleaning, masking and social distancing). The staff are friendly, talented and professional. Edit: I went back to Happy Nails and Spa after the business owner or manager replied to the review and told me to come back to get my nails fixed. Maeve did my nails this time, she was very precise, neat, gentle, and kind. She did them perfectly! The pink I had originally chosen is so pretty now, my nails looked like glass. I love the redo. I changed my review from 1 star to 4 only because I had to return to get them done right. When gel color is applied sloppily, they do not last as long, by the time I went back, which was 5 days later, 7 of my fingernails didn't even have any polish anymore. I am happy that I had them fixed. I feel like I received my money's worth now. Thank you. My nails are so ugly. The polish on my nails was applied uneven and sloppy. The color was supposed to be a transparent natural pink but she applied so many thick uneven coats that is no longer transparent but a pale pink that makes my skin looked washed out and dull. There's a big clump on the corner of my thumb. It's just terrible. You can see jagged edges on the tips of my nails. They look bad. I haven't had my nails done in 9 months I thought I would treat mysel but honestly wished I'd have kept my money. Also, my toenail smudged even though I had that done first. I am sad & disappointed.

Nam Nguyen is very professional in what she does. I’ve been getting my lash extensions done by her for about a year now. She also does a great job doing pedicures . She makes sure you are satisfied with her work before you leave. I highly recommend her! I never knew about the salon Happy Nails until i found out Nam relocated . I like the way Happy Nails operate. I had a broken nail with dip powder that hurt really badly when I came in and was worried about how sensitive it would be getting the existing polish off. I went in with a friend yesterday to get a full set, the process was quick and easy. They make you wash your hands before you do anything, which is very nice especially nowadays. I left yesterday with the color that didn't quite match what I picked and there were some minor mistakes (there was a brush hair stick in our of the polished nails that I didn't catch until I got home), I decided to call the up and Nga Do remembered me and warmly welcomed me to go back in for a fix. I went back in today and initially wasn't going to raise the concern that the color I picked didn't quite match because it's translucent, so what's shown on the color chart isn't reflective of what it would look like on your nails unless you do a base solid color. I decided to speak up anyway (which I should've done the day before), and they redid all the colors on my nails for FREE, no extra charge. I was very appreciative of that because I was expecting to have to pay because I didn't speak up the day before so it was sorta my fault. They were really busy too but still squeezed me in last minute. To me, it shows that this place is professional and cares about their customers. I would highly recommend this place! If you find something you don't like, just speak up and they'll address it for you, ideally that same day unlike me hahaha. Thank you Happy Nails! I'm now perfectly happy with my nails for sure.

I have to amend my review. They do a great job on nails. However, every time I come I make an appointment before hand and it never matters. People that don't have appointments get seen before me and/or I have to wait 25 mins minimum. I've had to leave before because they made me wait too long and I had something to get to. My advice is make sure you have a lot of time if you come here.

Experience was fine, the person who did my pedicure cut my toenail in a way that caused me to have an ingrown nail which still hurts several days later. So that's great. Otherwise it was fine. Don't waste your money on the higher priced services though, I paid $12 more for almost the exact same service my friend got. Definitely just go for the SPA pedicure.

This was my first experience at happy nails and I was absolutely impressed with their cleanliness of the place and how they valued the health and safety of their clients. Great service by Thuy Ho. If it wasn't for her, the rating wouldn't be as high. She helped me with my gift card issue then provided friendly and great work. Buying a gift card online may be an issue as it was for me. I waited for around 20-30min before someone was able to address the issue. UPDATE: They contacted me ASAP and were so sweet and understanding. I am completely blown away by the hospitatlity and the willingness to co operate. I will be posting more updates as it foes on I went there cause the reviews seemed great. It's slightly more expensive than other nearby places but I am more than happy to pay extra for a place that treats its employees and customers well. Sadly the experience was not great. I tried to clarify on several occasions that I wanted glitter ombre tips. When discussing, the nail artist dismissed the receptionist trying to tell me the price and said he "got it". Spoilers he don't got it. He told me a price that was 30$ less than what it actually was. But you know these things happen so I brushes it off and continued. He clearly wasn't listening to me either because instead of giving me glitter tips, he did a white ombre. When I pointed it out, he panicked and another nail artist joined him in filing off the white tips and putting on the correct glitter tips. Precision and care were not top of their list at the moment as they opted for speed and I've never felt my nails heat up so much. They were near closing and just needed me gone. Which is understandable. I still left the guy a tip cause I'm weak and can't do confrontation. After getting home and looking at my nails, I found an inch gap between the tips and my natural nails. He didn't even properly glue them down. Even my non confrontational self had enough and I emailed them to describe the situation. They said to call and I've tried to do so many times with no response. Just save your money and go somewhere else.

The only reason why I took off a star is that they don't take Discover and even when you have an appointment scheduled you will be waiting an additional 20 minutes, at minimum. It was my first time there and it was the first salon where they had great customer service and actually do good on your nails. Other places I’ve been to before either cut me when drilling or the shape didn’t look what I specifically asked for. One thing I don’t like is the pricing. I got a really simple acrylic set, purple, tapered square, with some diamonds on my ring fingers and that costed basically $60 so it wasn’t worth it for the price but very great customer service. Either way I’m happy with my nails just not the price.

Went about a month ago to Happy Nails and loved it! The website let you book a specific appointment which ensures they are maintaining and aware of their capacity and only able to accommodate walk-ins if it works but also nice they consider appointments as a priority. The receptionist was super nice, and I was impressed with their health and safety routine and diligence presented right away. Payment was easy and the prices are clear and upfront. I was able to Venmo a tip to my nail technician (Hong Nguyen-I recommend!) which was very convenient! The space is clean, they have stations spaced out and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. I chose a gel pedicure and I still don’t have any chip on the color from my 1-5-21 appointment! Will definitely be using this place again and look forward to trying their other services!

I just went in to get a pedicure and came out with an overlay, a massage, and clarity. So as I said I went in to get a pedicure. The receptionist was very inviting and laid back. She had other people behind me but she focused her attention on the current customer and made sure they were fully aware of the procedures they wanted. Now far as my nail technician Khanh Pham she was very detailed and informative on how I wanted to execute my vision on how I wanted my toes and nails done. I also was just telling her about my day and how I wasn't have much luck on finding a massage place on short notice. So she again was very informative on the different type of pedicures. So she recommended the hot stone treatment. First time but it was amazing. I could feel the toxic energy being released. Far as my nails. As she recommended a more subtle color for the natural look I was trying to achieve. I noticed someone else receiving a shoulder back massage. So I politely inquired about the cost difference on that service and she said I picked out the package I felt you needed to match what you were looking for today. So long story short. I ended up getting a shoulder massage as well. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I had my acrylic nails removed and got my first ever dip manicure by Khanh Pham; she did amazing!! She helped me select a natural-looking shape for my nails and I'm thrilled with how they came out. Also, I had a cut on my cuticle from earlier that day and she was so gentle and worked around it so it wouldn't hurt! I walked in on a busy night but the wait was not bad at all. I came in today and had my nails done by Thuy Ho. She did an amazing job on my nails. The shaping is so nice it almost is unreal. I got an acrylic full set and asked for a bit thicker acrylic than normal (due to my job) and she did a nice job making them strong but not clunky. The salon is also being very careful with their COVID precautions, which I appreciated. This salon is a bit more expensive than others I have visited, but the quality of the service is worth it if you’d like to pamper yourself a little.

I just recently started coming to Johnny at Happy Nails after leaving a place I had gone to for 8 years. I was reluctant to have someone else do my nails but I have been beyond happy with Johnny's work. I came in the first time after breaking all of my acrylic nails dropping a box. My fingers had been bleeding as a result but I didn't want to leave them bare. Another nail salon refused me as they were not comfortable doing it. I decided to try Happy Nails and Johnny right away told me he could help me. He was so kind and careful with me and my nails looked the best they had ever been when he finished! Ever since then I have exclusively gone to him because of his expertise with long nails and also his kindness. I typically break at least 3 nails in between manicures and since I have seen Johnny I have only broken one which he fixed for me right away. I will not go to anyone else! He is truly an artist and expert in his industry. I cannot say enough good things about him!!

I’ve been seeing ND specifically for all these years as she is kind, amazingly skilled, and doesn’t give me a hard time for having (insanely) short, biten nails. The new renovation of the salon is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell they are completely committed to the safety of their customers as their cleaning procedures are thorough and followed to a T. Amazing service! The wait is usually not long, and someone always greets you when you walk in. I’ve always gotten my nails done by Thuy Ho and she’s absolutely amazing, but my friends have gotten they’re nails done by other people and they’re just as good. They make sure you like what you’re getting and help with ideas if you’re a little stumped about what to get. My favorite thing about Happy Nails is how excellent they do the shaping and painting. Other places I’ve gone too don’t put that much thought into those things, but they always do an amazing job with the small details. I know that I’m gonna keep going to Happy Nails for as long as I have my acrylics on. Don’t forget to bring cash or check to tip them because they deserve it!

While everything was on time and everyone was friendly, it is missing a star because I was the last one to get seated out of our group and finished before others. The nail tech who colored my nail and did a manicure for one of my niece did not take his time at all. It was very rushed and not performed with care. My niece's nail color was so transparent and it looks like her 6 years old daughter color it for her. Although I gave it four stars for timely, being able to accommodate a big group and friendly staff, I would not go again.

Previous nail salons would not shape my nails right, I had to always ask for no gel polish and to just shape them square so I could shape them at home but this time I got clear polish ontop and oval shape and they shaped them right and had a lot of attention to detail so I no longer feel I have to shape them myself. I went with Lan Do and she did fantastic and was very nice and my nails came out great, she also gave me a back massage which I was surprised about. I really love the cleanliness of their service! Right when you get there before doing anything they ask you to wash your hands great idea!! Then they ask what kind of service you would like and charge you right away so if you want any additional designs or rhinestones added let them know ahead of time less hectic and less interaction due to COVID! The staffs are super nice and friendly! I love their attention to details to every nails they attend to. And would go extra to make your nails clean and neat! I had Thuy Ho as my nail technician and she’s one of the managers there. She’s very sweet and did awesome with my nails! Love this place! Make sure you wash your hands when you first come in and wear a mask. It always seems to be busy but they do a great job. I get gel pedicures for $44. They ask you to pay beforehand and if you want to tip you can do it over Venmo or cash. My favorite part is that they give you a little bit of a shoulder massage which I haven’t seen anywhere else.

I have been going to Happy Nails now for over 5 years and have always been impressed with their service and attention to detail even when they are extremely busy (which is a lot of the time). The salon is always clean, organized and now with a receptionist — runs even smoother. I recently moved far away from this salon and had tried going elsewhere due to the long drive, but ultimately keep coming back here. My nails last longer, are more even, appropriately shaped and have less lifting than anywhere else I have gone. If you tend to be a picky person about your nails like I am, ask for a Nga. She is meticulous in her work and a true professional. Her family owns the salon and does additional training with all of their new employees. They actually test their employees on a service before being allowed to take a client requesting say, a dip service. I feel this is the reason why you can go to almost any tech in their salon and receive a high quality manicure/pedicure/set/etc. Happy nails has made the extra effort to be a top salon in the Twin Cities and it shows in their work.

I’ve been here quite a few times. I don’t get my nails done often (mostly pedicures in the summer and sometimes manicures all year). I don’t typically do acrylic or gel because I like natural nails and don’t want the upkeep of those. Anyways, I’m just always left a little disappointed. It’s always chaotic in there, the are rude when you walk in (almost yelling at you to wash your hands, sign in, etc). Both times I’ve been in there in the past couple months their credit machine wasn’t working. Some people they mention they can use venmo, others not. It’s very inconsistent and they have made people go and get cash without being clear and offering venmo. I don’t understand. They need to have a sign on the door or something. To the mani/pedi, they are never bad, but never great. Always so/so. Always have polish left on my skin. Today they didn’t get all of my old color off at the sides of my nails so I have hot pink nails with blue green poking out on the sides. (Gross). My feet aren’t that bad but always feel rough when I am done. I miss the days of having smooth feet after a pedicure. You definitely should not come here if you are looking for a relaxing pampering experience. I may be back but I’m going to try a new place on Grand and see if there is a better experience out there.

I cross the border from Minneapolis to come to Happy Nails because they’re consistent and high quality and have the best selection of polish colors - the best nail experience I’ve had. I see Hong for my gel manicures. She is diligent and thorough and so cute! Hang did little sister’s nails and they literally were unchipped and perfect for three weeks. Five stars!

I came here on tuesday the 2nd of May. The staff was very friendly. They we're absolutely booked. Even though I was a half an hour late they made sure to get us and for our appointment right away. The salon is a very clean enjoyable atmosphere I absolutely loved getting my nails done by Philip he is a great conversationalist and made me laugh although a couple nails did Chip a week later when I called they were more than willing to fix the problem for me and Philip did an excellent job and I appreciated the excellent art. Nga also did my nieces nails. Wonderful job. We will be returning in just a couple weeks to get our fills Thank you Happy Nails .." this is not fighting Nails, this is HAPPY NAILS" PHILIP VO.

Johnny did an amazing job on my nails! I’d call him a ‘coffinologist’ for doing such clean coffin shape. He was quick and meticulous, paid attention to detail, shape was perfect, no lumps or thickness - I love my nails! Went on a Sunday morning at noon, busy but a lot of staff. Will definitely be going back to him! Love leaving the nail shop satisfied. Next time will bring cash as it’s $2 cheaper.

Probably the best place to get dip powder manicures in Saint Paul. Even though it is 52 dollars it is wellll worth it. I’m very happy with how my nails turn out. I got my nails done with Lan Do and she was very good. I’m sure everyone in the salon is very good as well

Pros: did a great job with my dip manicure and girlfriend massaged my shoulders, which never happens when I get my nails done. They also have a bigger selection of dip colors than any other place I’ve been. The staff member was very good at her job but basically didn’t speak to me. Cons: it’s time for a makeover. The shop is just rundown. Everything is dingy, the walls holes and sitting in that first spot next to the front desk - terrible. I was surrounded by garbage and staff squeezing in and out, bumping into me every few minutes. This place could be amazing with a fresh coat of paint and some new decor. Price seems reasonable for the area. If i go to the suburbs it’s $5-7 cheaper. I’m not quite a 4 star...But close.

2/9/17. Today was my very first time getting my nails done at a salon. A 1-10, I would give this salon a 8 for nail perfection and 6 or 7 for customer service. Like I said, it was my first time, and my first time was uncomfortable. They didn't really LEAD me to where I needed to go which made me look like a dumb person. Something I would like for them to do is tell me more on my nail choices and lead me to where I need to go. Besides these two things, I LOVE it a lot! The people are nice. I got my nails done by Philip Vo; the only men in the shop, and surprisingly he was good at it. I recommend this place, but might just be a little uncomfortable for beginners.

I went here for the first time for a pedicure. I get pedicures at least once a month, not for the paint as much as for the leg massage. I was VERY pleasantly pleased when I told the nail tech at Happy Nails that this is what I was looking for, she suggested a package with the longest and best leg massage option. Then proceeded to provided the best lengthy leg massage... with hot stones!!! (I’ve never seen that in a nail salon before, only at a massage studio). I am very pleased and I will be back!

Nga Do & Ahn Tran are the BEST nail techs in the twin cities! They always do such an excellent job with my dipping powder manicures, ice dancer pedicures and gorgeous eyelash extensions! I love my nails! Philip did a fantastic job and he even helped me pick out a great light purple shade for my dip manicure. They turned out smooth and have a great shape. Pretty sure I’ve found my regular salon. *Edit: I’ve definitely found my regular salon. I absolutely love Happy Nails. It’s the only place I go now. I got an ombré dip today and it’s fantastic. Lan Nguyen is excellent, as well. I wish I could give them more stars :) *Further Edit: Happy Nails is the only place I’ll go for dip manicures. Today, Diem Nguyen gave me an ultra sparkly mani and Johnny painted some really cute holly berries on top of it. I feel a lot more festive than I did before I went in. Thanks you guys!!

I’ve been coming to Happy Nails for years, however today was the first time I have been since the pandemic began and since their remodel. The place looks stunning and they are practicing excellent cleaning/Covid protocols. When we first arrived in, they had us wash and then sanitize our hands before checking in. Anh Tran and Ngo Do took care of my partner and I. Anh Tran, like always, took very good care of me! We had the Firewalker Pedi and she was amazing at every part of it. Ngo Do worked on my partner, who worked wonders for him. This was his second time ever receiving one (his first one was also from Happy Nails over two years ago) and he was very relaxed and happy with his pedi. Happy Nails has been my spot and will continue to be my spot! Thank you Anh Tran and Ngo Do for everything and for taking care of us!

Visited for my first time the other day and loved my experience! My nail tech was Anh (she's also the manager) and she did a fabulous job! I got a dip powder mani and a gel pedi. The mani I chose included a shoulder rub and, for an extra $5, a hand and arm rub. Totally worth it! And these are some of the best dips I've had! Occasionally dips can be too thick on the nail, but these were perfect. The pedi was very relaxing. My friend and I loved the massage chairs. I'd highly recommend this place and will be back!

I have been here several times- every female technician I’ve had has done an excellent job. Today a younger guy did my nails. I’ve had him once before, and it was fine. I could tell he didn’t like my color choice today, and he proceeded to do a really quick and fairly sloppy job. I told him I’d like to keep the length and he filed them down pretty aggressively, at least three of my nails were filed at a slant, and the shaping was inconsistent. It took me only like 30 seconds per nail to fix them at home with a file. It’s not okay to give lower quality service just because you don’t like someone’s choice! I felt very irritated by the time I left. 4 Stars because it’s a great place in general. Just pissed about my experience today.

I get manicures here religiously. Best manicures ever, but they tend to rush through them and are pretty aggressive. Their shellac lasts a VERY long time, and if you have any chipping or anything within the first week, they will typically repair at no cost. I did, however, get my eyebrows done there one time (for convenience sake) and she took off more than a full centimeter of my outer left eyebrow. And when I asked what happened there (in tears), she said it looked better that way............ I've been growing it out for 3 months now.... :(

I gave an $80.00 tip for service, so upset that they uncharged me more! My daughter was charge $40 dollars more for her and her daughtet.

I said I wanted my nails shorter and shaped differently and my nail tech Nga Do listened. I showed the design I wanted and she said she could do it. I was nervous because the other places also said they could do the design I wanted and definitely could not. As Nga Do started to work on my nails, all my fears disappeared.
