This is my second experience at Something Tropical. The first time I was less than impressed with the tanning beds themselves, it took me a lot of tans to get any color and I tan easily. I chalked it up to myself that it was the cheap lotion I was using. Well, now my second round of trying this tanning salon again, I bought the expensive $60 lotion from them and I’m on my SIXTH tan with hardly any tan at all. Very disappointed in their beds, they must need to change bulbs or something. The staff is ok, and the building is clean, but the most important part, the tanning beds, are not great.

I have been tanning here for the past two weeks now. I went with the unlimited 30 day stand up beds. The staff and owner are very friendly and super helpful when I was looking at what package to get before vacation. I will be coming back for my next vacation !!

Our family is tanning for an upcoming vacation. I am personally new to tanning, so my experience of other tanning salons is almost non-existent. We've done seven of ten sessions at this point. With that, Something Tropical Tanning is clean, cozy, comfortable, and decently priced. They have a good selection of tanning options, tiers and their staff is always polite and welcoming. They've given me a good first impression.

It would be a lot better if they had more than one platinum bed. Sucks to have to wait every single time I come in when that bed also costs the most to use.

Something Tropical Tanning is in a strip mall. The salon is between Dunkin' Donuts and Aldi. The listed suite number does not match. Look at the storefront signs. You will find them.
