I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND THIS PLACE!!! I was researching nail salons that specialize in designs about a year ago, and came across Henry’s fabulous nail design portfolio. He DID NOT disappoint!!! Everyone in the salon was SO sweet and kind and funny and if you’re looking for an extensive design, HENRY IS DEFINITELY your guy. I showed him a picture and he replicated and improved upon the original design!!! I’ve also gotten quotes from many other design specialists in the area and Henry’s prices are almost a steal compared to what some others are charging for the same designs. Don’t walk, RUN to Designer Nails Studio.

I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! I was able to make 3 appointments same day and the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. I had two of my kids with me and they both got pedicures, their nail techs were great at the service and so patient with my little babes. Katie did my dip manicure and I gotta say, she did a freaking great job. I’m super picky and she was incredibly thorough. I appreciated her attention to detail and the conversation. Super bubbly and professional. I will for sure be back whenever I come back out here!

Update: I have been back again and have gotten once again the best manicure ever. This is Henry’s special formula for ombré — believe it or not, this is gel and my natural nail. I have paper thin nails, suffering from constant polish. This is the most beautiful natural easy strong manicure EVER. Henry is an ABSOLUTE GENIUS !! I came in as a walk-in with my friend and they fit us in to their busy schedule for a pedicure and fake nails. They were very accommodating and stayed later to finish my nails. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment for more convenience. They did an amazing job with the pedicure, it was very relaxing and the nail tech was so funny. Henry did my nail design and he absolutely embodied the design I brought in. He knew exactly what was needed to get the job done. He was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend coming here for any intricate nail designs you envision. And bring cash as you’ll save money avoiding the credit charge.

I LOVE this salon. I usually get gel mani and pedis and I always leave happy. Their work is impeccable and stays perfect for weeks. If you're looking for custom design, Henry is a true artist. I've seen him do full portraits on people's nails that I would hang on my wall. They're also just so friendly. I always feel comfy and welcome. After my first visit, they remembered my name months later. I tried a lot of studios before finding them, but I won't go anywhere else now.

Designer Nails Studio is hands down the best nail salon in the San Fernando Valley. Henry, Katie and the rest of the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. There is never more than a minute wait if you come in with an appointment (which is very easy to book over the phone). They take you immediately and focus all their attention on the customer they are working on. This salon has great attention to detail. Henry and Katie are amazing nail artists and perfectionists. Every time I get my nails done by them, I am always happy. My acrylics/gels always last me a month with no chipping or lifting. This salon also carries REAL SNS dipping powder, unlike most salons. Henry is also extremely knowledgeable about all the best nail products to use on his customers. I've had acrylics, SNS Powder, Gels and pedicures done at this salon and I am pleased every time.

Excellent service!! The owner and employees are so kind. I am usually hesitant to get nail designs because I have naturally very small nail beds, but the techs are willing and able to work with my natural nails. The owner is very skilled and uses a special technique that makes the design last a very long time and truly helps my natural nails to grow long and healthy. I highly recommend!

This is the only place I will get my nails done in Los Angeles. All of the workers are amazing and they always do a great job— plus my nails never break. Make sure you call to schedule an appointment because lately they’ve been super busy.

Henry is an incredible artist. He can do everything from a natural ombré look (a neutral color that fades to ivory white is my favorite) … to marble-like cat-eye designs …. To intricate drawings. Check out his Instagram. His work lasts 3-4 works … and so he is definitely worth the money. PS. Only book him if you want a design. If you want something simple, book the other nail techs.

HENRY!!!!!!!!!! By far the most amazing human being, artist, and nail stylist(?) I never tell him what I want, I give him an idea then he takes it from there. All of the ladies are amazing, I take my six year old daughter with me, and they are so kind and never seem to be annoyed with a child in the shop. Each and every person in the shop is kind, sweet and I enjoy their company. Usually I am ready to get my nails done and leave, though this shop feels like a family. They take their time and are kind to even the rude clients (they do not call "us" customers) my nails are always flawless, and my pedicures are always perfect. I personally get in-grown toe nails and they are patient and clean with all products. I feel they take pride in their art, I recommend to any and everyone.... some shops are less pricey but their work is horrible. I love this every other weekend home. I don't have a whole lot of money but you most definitely get what you pay for. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION and comfort. Personally Henry is the one that did my nails to begin with and i love him HENRY is the MAN. and the LADIES are DARLING. Do not make the same mistake i did going to 7 other salons before you find the perfect one DESIGNER NAILS STUDIO ROCKS!!!!!!!

Searching for a good nail artist is difficult. Finding an amazing one... Is a miracle! Henry you have such incredible talent. You are wonderful when working with others. Sooo happy my nail shop is back open!! The dip set I had done right before lockdown lasted an entire month. Henry is a true nail artist who can execute any style/design you bring him. He also has great suggestions for days when my creative juices aren’t flowing. His attention to detail really sets him apart from other nail techs and it's even better that he's so friendly and personable.
