Since the second I stepped inside I felt so welcome. The owner (mindy) was so helpful with what packages she offered and broke down the pricing. I immediately signed up and by the second time I came in she would greet me by first name and knew exactly what he’d and how long I wanted to go! I’ve been tanning for 10 years and have never had such great hospitality. Sometimes when my bed is taken she will let me use a higher bed just so I don’t have to wait! She is always working and is so sweet. It’s a very cute, CLEAN, well kept tanning salon. She even includes a little candy on top of the folded towel in the beds! How cute! Every room also has deodorant, lotion, and makeup remover wipes for free. Definitely support this amazing place and it’s a locally owned business!

I love that as soon as I walk in the door the owner and employees know me by name! It shows they care, are personable and friendly. They have several different tanning bed options and levels which I have tried and enjoyed each one of them. They have many professional lotion products and tanning enhancements available to purchase at great prices. It is a very clean, relaxing and comfortable environment! I recommend stopping by to meet Mindy, who is very knowledgeable about tanning, and to get a beautiful bronze glow by trying Shades out!

I'm here visiting family on vacation and before I came out I got a horrible looking spray tan. I wanted to even my tan out so I found this place and I'm absolutely in love! The staff is very personable and greet you by your name. I've only been a few times so I didn't expect her to get my name right away but the fact that she tried to remember it made me feel special. Like she cared. This place is very clean and the beds are amazing! I'm definitely going to miss SHADES when I go back home since we don't have many family owned tanning salons (and those are the ones that really go above and beyond with customer service). So I'm really happy I found this place! I'll definitely be coming back every time I come to visit!

The facility is clean and well kept. And the prices are comparable/reasonable. I am most impressed with the lady's who own it! I am very self conscious and they picked up on that right away and we're very patient and understanding with me. They made me feel welcome and special. Not just like a client, but as a friend. I don't expect I'll be needing to go anywhere else, not while they're around! Much thanks!!

Love this place!! My favorite tanning salon by far! The beds are awesome and this place is super clean with GREAT prices! I will never tan at another tanning salon again! Definitely recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed! :)

I purchased a 3 month gold tanning package for $195. This was to include the mystic tan as well as unlimited bed sessions. Now that I have a fantastic base tan, I have started using the mystic tan on a regular basis. Now, a few weeks into my package, I am being charged a $5 upcharge for each 'dark' mystic tan, and an additional $5 upcharge if I do a mystic tan followed by a bed session. (they reffered to it as a cocktail) You can do the math. Not what I was told or expected when purchasing the most expensive $195 Gold Package. I spoke to the owner who told me that "we cant always remember to tell you everything"....Really Mr. Zol Tan? My next $195 will go to a business that DOES give me all of the details before I end up with another $240 in 'upcharges'.

Clean place and friendly staff. I got annoyed one time when I came in 45 minutes before they closed and they were locking the door and leaving. She told me they take their last tan 30 minutes before closing, again it was actually 45 minutes before. Not to mention when I signed up they said 15 min before closing.
