Pretty good customer service on the phone and in person. The only constructive criticism I have is that the people I spoke with didn't seem to be able to articulate how my appearance would differ from level 4 to level 5. They were able to tell me how the beds differed from each other but not how that translates into my tanning experience.

Very happy to find this salon to help get rid of tan lines and even out my color overall. The pricing is best if you sign up for a membership, all the terms are clear and upfront. Alison was the first to help me, very sweet and informative. Maila assisted me when I returned to sign up for the membership and was also quite helpful. The reservation option is a huge perk, as long as you plan ahead, you can avoid a long wait for the bed you’re looking to use. The salon is clean, beds/rooms thoroughly sanitized and well maintained. They also gave me a thank you card and sample of a lotion which I thought was a very personal, aloha touch. Mahalos!

Friendly. Straight forward pricing. Easy to use online calendar for appointments and option to call ahead. Quick service once you're in. Friendly staff. Beds are very powerful. I recommend level 4 and 5 for those more resilient skin to tan fast. Good selection of lotions but very pricey. -1 star because they dont allow you to bring your own lotions even if they're certified for bed use.

The experience was awesome. The beds are relaxing and on my first tan I got a nice Sunkist glow after 10 mins! Can not wait for another relaxing session after work to unwind! Not to mention music these beds have now! Loved it!

The place is well decorated, with a friendly staff, and good products. I went for my first sunless spray tan and it was a very reasonable price. After washing off the bronzer which appeared uneven, the underneath color was perfect and smooth. Great place, would recommend. It’s also very easy to book the day of.

The girl working there was very pleasant and sweet. No complaints on the service. The tanning beds seemed nice. I'm still trying to get used to the way things are in Hawaii as compared to the mainland. Overall, I would recommend this salon to other people.

This was my first experience using a spray tan service and I didn’t know what to expect. Eve was very kind and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything so well. I chose the Venetian tan color and I was very skeptical when I went home because of the dark coloring. But just as Eve said, after I rinse, the bronzer will wash away leaving the tan. More so, the tan continued to develop overnight and I woke up with a beautiful tan. Will definitely return!

I'm new to the island and came across this salon, which is amazing by the way! I work 4 days a week and most of those shifts our 12 hours so it's hard to layout as much as I'd like, and this place helps to give my tan the boost I need! Marc was great with helping me out about the different memberships, and products to use. And the chocolates are a really nice add on too (:

The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, as well as super knowledgeable. This is a really nice salon with high quality beds and they go out of their way to provide full service. In the tanning bed rooms they always have baby wipes, a towel, a chocolate, deodorant, and protective eye wear. And as someone who always forgets the eye wear it is a really great bonus that it is always there. It makes tanning in a salon what I want, which is quick, easy, and convenient.

Marc and his staff are phenomenal! Marc was awesome! He was so accommodating and genuinely cared about my satisfaction. He was totally committed to making sure I was happy and content with his work and the spray tan he applied. Such amazing customer service is so rare in today's businesses. I was in a major jam after a botched tan job the night before by some horrible mobile tanning guy (message me if you want the info of who NOT to go with) who had no idea what he was doing, and Marc accommodated me early morning so I could get in and get sprayed before my first bodybuilding competition. He did an awesome job-- fast application and top quality! Spray tan looked awesome and he really saved my day. I could not be more appreciative. THANK YOU MARC and Sun Splash Tans!!! So far I've used the tanning beds and the red light therapy - both great! I also purchased a spray tan, but haven't used it yet. The staff is friendly, and the salon is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily! I love that they also provide baby wipes and deodorant, and they have water for sale for just a dollar! Great salon overall.

Close to home and open until 9 pm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable while the rates are reasonable and the environment is both clean and comfortable in the waiting area as well as the tanning rooms. A great way to catch those comforting UV rays when work and other responsibilities make it hard to get in a few hours out of doors.

When I lived in Virginia I tanned at an amazing place called Sunday's. A very popular chain tanning salon known for their high quality beds, cleanliness and great weekly deals. I never thought I'd find another great tanning salon, especially not in Hawaii since most tan outdoors. I recently discovered Sun Splash and I was very happy when I walked in. It is very clean, the beds are all high quality, the staff is amazing AND you get a free chocolate with each visit ;) I give them a well deserved 5-star rating.

Sun Splash Tans has got to be one of the best tanning salons that I have been to! They offer Red Light Therapy as well as spray tans and tanning beds. The staff are friendly and take the time to answer questions and concerns. I have never had an issue with parking, even though the parking lot is shared with a few other businesses. Super clean tanning salon!

I just love stand up beds in general and Sun Splash Tans Inc. has the best one I've ever been in! (they also have a variety of them to choose from). The vibe of the salon was super relaxing thanks to Madi, who in general is just an awesome person. Its hard to find a salon that doesn't scare you. I got tired of seeing my paste white legs in the mirror at the gym but I didn’t have the time to spend outdoors to tan them. I came to Sun Splash Tans to get a quick pop of color and was more than satisfied. They offer tanning beds, red light skin care therapy, and spray tan/airbrushing. The staff is kind, helpful, and welcoming. The salon is clean and well decorated. One week later I feel so much more confident with a little color/glow. Thanks Marc!

My first experience was okay, the gal was a bit over confident but super nice, and since I've heard her sell the package I bought in the exact same way and although the package was okay, I would have gone for the yearly membership had I been aware the same package existed for the same price it just comes with a contract. I'd rather go in the level 5 instead of the level 4 so when it came time to re-up my pkg I chose the yearly membership. This tanning salon is totally worth it especially if you'rein my situation: I started tanning bc the job I have I work m-f 7-4 and I was white as a ghost, looking like I live in Seattle, not Hawaii! Plus I just feel better tan. Love the beds, Love my new level 5 package, and the owner really worked with me and was so kind when I answered a review that I assumed would be read, tossed out, not carefully gone over. It was totally taken seriously and I maybe would've toned it down because I was honestly happy with them I just thought I had some better ideas they hadn't thought about but who am I? lol.... Here's the deal: They actually care about your reviews and are very fair. It was unexpected and really made me feel good about the tanning salon I chose to go with. It's on Kapahulu, easy to get to, the parking is free and they're tight spaces but there's always one available! It's easy to make an appointment or just show up but if you just show up dont get mad if you have to wait bc a lot of people make appointments! Anyhow, long story short; great beds, always clean, friendly, helpful staff, awesome owner and easy peasy to get in and get out. Totally recommend! Aloha!

I had a million questions, but they were very patient and explained the procedures as well as color varieties in full detail. There was never any pressure or expectation to purchase any products in store either. I appreciated their candid replies and efficient service. I couldn't believe I was in and out so quickly. I bought the Groupon for the 3 Red Light treatments, unlimited month of Level One tanning and one spray tan. I'm so impressed with this place and WILL be coming back when my Groupon is used up. Typically a salon has one or two outgoing friendly people working there. The girls at Sun Splash treat every customer as though they own the store themselves, always smiling, friendly, personable, eager to help and knowledgable. Beds have always been clean. Bulbs changed out frequently. I recommend Sun Splash Tans Kapahulu to all my friends.

I'll just say this - Sun Splash is BY FAR the BEST tanning place on O'ahu. Well maintained, clean, and the gals that run the place are SUPER. A lot of the competitive body-builders go there for spray tans too. AND you can make reservations!

My go to for sunless tanning. Prices are competitive...and the place is clean and in good working order. Pay attention to your contract though...early cancels are expensive. They do walk ins, too.

Its very relaxing and it did get me a base tan,I was really pale where the sun don't shine and very uneven . So it did even up my tan , but I used to get darker after spending $200.

I loved my spray tan!!! The girl who worked there did an awesome job and was very helpful answering my questions. I’ve only ever been to booths and it was cool to get hand sprayed! There were no spots that were messed up and it was the perfect shade of orange. Plus it was quick developing so I could shower after 2 hours. Great place!
