Nail color #'s: 11(from one of the little round circle examples)- the orangish color 448: the white and the glitter I am unsure because we changed it but I believe it was around 481. This nail place did such a great job. The lady that did my nails, her name is Jessica. She did an amazing job and was super funny. You can tell that she loves her job and that she is great friends with the girl that works next. The both of them together made the experience so much better because they had me laughing and smiling a lot. I got a gel manicure. I came in with my middle finger with no nail because it broke and Jessica did an extension with dip and it looks so good and natural. You can't tell the difference. Definitely going back :))

Went here to get my nails done for my wedding and I had a great experience. First of all they looked incredible and they still do over 2 weeks later. I did the gelX nails with gel polish and they held up perfectly this whole time. Secondly, my nail technician made recommendations based on my nails and the health of my nails rather than trying to upsell me which I always really appreciate. The girl that did my nails name was Victoria and I would highly recommend her. I will definitely be going back 😊

I went here with my mom and my nails look amazing!! I had Jessica and she’s very funny. My only problem with it is my mom had her nail break after 3 hours. Hers were acrylic and mine are dip.

I got a gelX manicure for the first time due to a new acrylic allergy and I am SOOO impressed! Holy moly. I’ve found my new nail salon & style. My nail tech, Tracy, did an awesome job! They were very affordable for a full gelX set with shellac ($49) and they are running a raffle drawing promotion right now! I definitely would recommend this salon & already am looking forward to going back. Also, huge selection of gel colors!!

I have not gotten my nails done in a very long time. Kim was very informative and kind walking me through each product option and explaining what was healthiest and best for my nails. I had an example photo for her to work off of and she exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love my nails! I had to get my acrylics removed after my wedding for my job. Victoria made this experience so great for me! She took the time to soak off my acrylics, so my nails didn’t get damaged—and the process was completely painless! And to top it off, she completed a beautiful shellac manicure for me afterwards. She made the whole experience comfortable and I was able to have a really great conversation with her the whole time. I highly recommend her and this business!

Kim (the owner) was very polite and professional! She has an upbeat spirit, great sense of humor and you can tell she loves what she does. She is also very personable. My appointment lasted 1hr and 30mins. I paid $44 for full set with shellac. I tipped her 20%. She did take several breaks to answer the phone and book appointments so I believe I could have been out sooner but I don’t mind it. I respect that she was conducting business and I appreciate her taking her time with me. She was very patient as well because I spent the first 10mins trying to decide if I wanted dip or not and what color. I will definitely be back here! Thank you Kim! Update: 8/3 I went back for a fill and a Voesh pedicure and it was fabulous! I let Kim talk me into getting a “crazy” color for my 30th birthday lol at first she suggested hot pink but I ended up with this Barbie sparkly color plus rhinestones that I really like😊 she took her time and did an excellent job on both my feet and my hands!

I had Hot Stone Pedicure and a regular Manicure. The back Massage was done by the Pedicure seat! I quickly realized I had a sore place in my upper back which it relieved. The experience with Tracy was beyond relaxing. She has great hands and I felt like I was on a warm foreign Island. Also I felt very comfortable because the work areas are very clean. I found a new Nail place to go too!

This salon understands the value of good costumer service. I chose this salon after deciding not to go back to the one closet to my home due to a lack of good costumer service, and a rush job done on my nails. This salon stuck out because they had over 300 reviews and an almost perfect rating. Much higher than any other salon around, so despite it being a ways away from my home, I made the trek over and I was not disappointed. The nail techs were all kind and friendly, and I loved that they had a diversity of staff. I came with out an appointment and they were kind about it. They even fit me in although it was close to closing. But i recommend making sure that you make an appointment because they are packed, which is also a good sign. I highly recommend this salon. They're super detailed, they take their time. This time i got a pedicure with Nina who was amazing! When they found out it was my birthday, Rose stayed after until 9pm to finish my nails. I can't thank them enough.

This is my absolute favorite nail salon in GR! I tried several other places before I found this one and none of them were anywhere close to the same level as V V. Kim and her staff are all amazing artists and wonderful people. I have never been disappointed with how my nails looked after going here. Also, you can't beat their prices! Definitely give them a shot if you're looking for a new nail salon!

BEST NAIL SALON IN GR! Sorry for the caps lock but I was looking for a good nail salon for months after moving to GR and I'm really excited to find one I love. They do a really great job on my nails. They always listen to what I want and double check that I like them and don't have any complaints. The shop is really clean, and their tools are all sanatized where you can see them. The atmosphere is also really nice, with pretty little touches that make it feel really calming. But most of all, I love their customer service. It is also the same few nail techs working, and the woman who runs it (I think her name is Kim) always makes you feel welcome and the entire staff is very professional. You also get free pop or water while there, which is nice! I also think their prices are spot on! I recommend this place to everyone I know looking for a good nail place!

I've been to this salon multiple times and I'm not a person who would previously get her nails done regularly. Once I started coming here in August I couldn't stop! I've been to Rose, Ashley and Diana. All three do great work! Great service, great conversation and an awesome atmosphere. Will not be going to a new salon unless I move out of state. If you haven't been to VV nails ...what are you doing?? Make an appointment with one of these 3 ladies asap! You won't regret it. :)

I called the daily 4 in desperate need of a Manny petty. My nails and cuticles were whole nails and cuticles were horrible my toes oh my God I could climb trees they were so bad. They fit me in the next morning one of the 1st appointments and it was awesome definitely definitely go the staff there is awesome.

Pedicure was amazing and one of the best I’ve ever had but the manicure was awful! She rushed it and worked on another client at the same time, didn’t do my cuticles, shaped some of my nails round and others square when I asked for all to be square. I went because of all the great reviews but not sure I’m going back if they prioritize their weekly regulars after already starting my nails. I also asked for dip powder and because she didn’t want to take the time to work on my nails, she did a top coat of shellac with the UV light, which I didn’t want nor did she was if that was okay

I originally went in to get gel X but ended up getting dip because they said that my nails “We’re to curved” to do them. I was pretty disappointed to be turned down for the very thing I went there for but in the end I got one of the best dip manicures that I’ve ever had and a really nice pedicure too. If you have any arch to your fingernail you might want to ask if they can do the Gel X before you go for that specifically.

Ask for Lee! Best shellac nail experience ever. He took the time to make every nail smooth and wow, perfect. All of the staff there get to know you by name and are friendly! Very very cost efficient as well. :) Used to go to da vi nails in gaslight village, but they kept charging different amounts for uneven nails.

This was my first time at VV nail salon and it was amazing. The woman who did my nails was gentle and so kind. The music they played was great too. It was like an exact playlist of mine! I’ve probably searched for a place like this since I was old enough to get my nails and feet done! My daughter and I scheduled appointments for pedicures and manicures ( I had to remove acrylic) We were treated so well and like paying people, I was worried the original dip color I chose I wasn’t going to like and the lady was (4) nails in already and she’s like “ it’s not too late, to change it” I told her sorry and she asked me to not apologize and told me “ she wants me to be happy with the service provided”! I’ve literally never been to a nail shop where they weren’t irritated or treated you poorly! I totally recommend this place- they were also so kid friendly! I love it here! I will spread the word and will continue my services with them! Oh yeah, our nails and feet turned out beautiful!

Ashley is the best!!! She gave me the most thorough pedicure and my feet are rough y'all!! I haven't had dip nails since I left Virginia because no one could do them like my lady. Ashley convinced me to give her a try and I'm glad I did!! I work in Grand Rapids but live in Milwaukee. V Vs is very Covid aware and take measures to ensure a safe visit. They made sure I was okay and communicated with me regularly. Mindy did my pedicure.She was very friendly and my nails look great! Will definitely be back! Very clean and great COVID precautions. Hand sanitizer everywhere and they screen all visitors before they are served.

I have gotten my nails done here twice before and have loved it. However, I just got one of the worst dip manicures I have ever had. The lady did not know what she was doing, she took over an hour to do my nails, made my fingers bleed and my nails look awful. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she still messed them up. I paid $46 dollars of the manicures and regret every penny I spent.

I came here with my Bestie for my birthday. It was my first experience with this salon and it will not be the last! The Jellie pedicure was really nice and they took their time and it was perfect. Both the shellac on my toes and the dip and tips on my fingers were the cleanest and nicest applications I have had. Clean, comfortable and nice place. The people are sweet and don't make you feel rushed even when busy!

This place was great! I called at 2pm and scheduled an appointment for 3pm the same day (On a Saturday). I got an Acrylic Full Set with Shellac and was out within an hour. Kim was super nice and Annie did an amazing job on my nails. She did exactly what I asked and didn't have any issue. I also like that they have a nice selection of darker shades. I hate going to a salon and they have 50 shades of pink and only 5 dark colors. I will definitely return!

I got a shellac manicure and a voesh pedicure. I enjoyed the experience and best of all my manicure lasted 28 days without chipping or peeling. It might have lasted longer but my nails grow fast and I had to cut them. I will be back even though I have to drive 30 minutes to get there, right past many other nail salons.

I had 2 different girls for a pedi and shellac mani and both were excellent. This is by far the best place to go for nails. Large selection of shellac and regular polish and they'll work with you to find matching colors if you're doing Mani as shellac and pedi as regular.Kim, the owner is super friendly and so is her staff. They offer soda/pop or water while you get your nails done which is a nice touch. Kim also does waxings which I recently did and she did a great job.

Very nice salon. Friendly people and they use covers in the pedicure tubs..I appreciate that sanitary measure. One thing that upset me today was that the girl working on me was clearly new and dropped the cuticle cutter and proceeded to pick it up off the floor and keep using it. Also don’t plan on getting in there in a timely manner . If you don’t make an appointment you’ll be asked to leave and come back later. Essentially accept no walk-ins. If you can get in however, they do a good job.

I think anyone else who had my experience at V V Nails & Spa might give them a lower rating. I called ahead on a Sunday and was told they could fit me in at 4:30. I showed up a few minutes early and Kim, the owner, told me politely they were running behind. My dip manicure didn't start until 5:10. For a moment, I was upset that I was waiting this long. But then Kim explained that one of their staff members needed to leave early because their Father was in ill health. Kim provided such exceptional service. She was friendly and talkative and you can tell she really loves her salon! The other nail techs were equally as friendly. My dip manicure turned out great and was very inexpensive for the quality work. I will definitely be back. Also, Kim has the BEST color select for Gel, Shellac and Dip!

Of all of the nail salons I've gone to in Grand Rapids, V V Nails and Spa is easily the best. Kim (the new owner) is so incredibly kind. She is so genuine and remembers me every time I go back. Their prices are posted on a board, so you know they're not trying to up-sell you on their services and they also offer you drinks during your service. There are a million colors available for you to choose from which is really nice. They also do waxing services. I'm usually terrified to get my eyebrows done anywhere, but Kim did an amazing job on mine and is really the only one I trust doing them! This place is amazing, you have to go here!

I was in Grand Rapids for a couple days (I’m from Maryland) and my poor busted nails were desperately in need of a manicure. I did a powder dip on my nails with Lee and Jasmine did a polish change on my toes. Both did a wonderful job taking care of me! Lee was fun to talk with, he was so very gentle with the dremel tool (I’ve thin, baby-like nails) and shaped my nails perfectly to my request, and his overall work was flawless. Jasmine was so sweet and made my toes look fantastic, even with just a polish change! If I’m ever back in Michigan and need a manicure or pedicure, I will definitely be back!! Wonderful experiences here at V V Nails & Spa! Today I had a special pedicure - a Jelly Pedi. Oh my! The feeling is like none other I’ve had. It feels like my feet are in silk. I had a choice of aroma - lavender or peppermint. I chose lavender. Heavenly. Included in this package are many different treatment steps including rub with sugar, another with a masque, a paraffin dip, and some some steps I’ve forgotten. A much appreciated feature of VV is the plastic liner in the soaking tub. This gives me piece of mind that the tub is perfectly sanitary. There are many choices of nail polish, including those that have sparkles. I chose lavender day. Seems appropriate for Easter. Love my toes! I have been here before and have had equally pleasant experiences with pedicures and manicures. Kim, the owner, is kind and fun to talk with. I’ll be back. Wish my granddaughters lived near so I could treat them to a pedicure in the Miss Kitty chair. FYI - while I was here today, there were two male customers getting pedicures. They ranged in age from 30-65.
