This Business is my absolute favorite place to get my nails done and toes done! Everyone in this establishment is so friendly, the nail techs are extremely talented, and I always leave feeling pampered and beautiful! The picture of the pink nails is what I had done two weeks ago. Then the next photo of the blue and pink nails is what I had them changed to. I will always recommend this pleasant nails to all my friends. ❤️❤️

Me and my family have been coming here for years. There is no better place in Grand Rapids, and trust me, I have tried everywhere. Everyone is so kind and attentive. My wife, kids, family, friends and even myself have been coming here for over 10 years. Dan and his wife are not only amazingly generous and very kind owners, but they do amazing work and also staying behind their work if there was ever an issue. The staff works very hard and they all do very great work. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience. They treat everyone very nicely, and I've never ever had any issues here. Their price is very reasonable and I always receive great service.

Ask for Hannah if you need your nails done and have a design in mind. She does an AMAZING job!! I have been going for about a year now and she continuously does a great job. Their prices for gel nails with shellac over top is cheaper than other places I have gone and truly hold up better. I have not had any issues and will continue to go back.

Did a walk in appt, temperature was taken and I was seated quickly. Amy was my technician and did an amazing job. Had a manicure (gel powder dip) and pedicure and she did a great job. She was also very pleasant and sweet with conversation and care. I recommend this salon and this nail tech.

I have gone to pleasant nails, faithfully, for roughly 3 years now- they usually provide a satisfying experience/do a great job at my routine acrylic gel manicure. The last 2x I have gone they have had my nails done by the same man. I never catch his name, but he wears glasses, is bald, & is roughly younger 40’s in age- he is usually somewhat irritable or seems bothered by my wrist naturally moving around as he works (never have had any other tech. Complain). Today, I went in for a standard fill & after applying the gel he looked at me and said, “good?” As if he was done. I said, “at this point to be honest they don’t look done or good”. He argued with me and tried to explain that due to me wanting “almond shaped it needs to be thicker to cover your real nail”. I contested and said they needed to be thinner and more even. He called the owner over to look and the owner seemed confused and asked if I was suggesting he leaves them how they are. I explained that was the opposite of what I wanted and they needed to be evened out & shaped & filed down with the dermal. The owner agreed and said, “he usually does a great job- give him some more time”. Long story short- he attempted to leave them extremely poorly done until I complained and then painted them uneven (2 coats on some nails and 3 on others). I won’t ever agree to let that specific technician do my nails again- I’m really unhappy with the current look of my nails and plan to have them redone tomorrow at a different salon. As I said, normally I am very satisfied but today I am rethinking ever going back.

Such talented nail artists! Vicky always takes great care of me and does my nails & toe nails to total perfection. The owner as well as the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The salon is clean and well staffed. I've sent several friends and co-workers here as well... they loved them so much it has become their regular salon! I'm excited to see the next design Vicky does for me when I'm back in a few weeks :)

Pleasant Nails is a nice salon. They keep the place very clean and comfortable. There always seems to be an adequate amount of technicians on staff, therefore making it easy to receive services on a walk in basis. They have a very large selection of polish colors and services available. And the fact that they’re open until 8pm on Saturday is a plus.

Love this place so much! Way better than the mall salons! I’ve been here three times and they always do amazing work! They are nice and gentle and have a big selection of colors. The staff is great and they care to make sure they aren’t hurting you and that you love the look of your nails! This is my go to salon! They do manicures, pedicures, gel, dip powder, and acrylics! I always come as a walk in and they get me in right away all the techs are super talented. It’s a big space which is great and very clean!

Pleasant nails is my favorite nail spot in the Grand Rapids area. Tiffany is the lady who does my nails and she is AMAZING! She takes her time (but still fast) and makes sure my nails/toes look great! Also, they were crazy busy (due to spring break) and i was so pleased with the customer service. The owner came up to me personally and apologized for the wait and brought me a water. I recommend this place 100%. Nice employees and good customer service!

I didn't catch the name of my nail tech, but she did a wonderful job. She was careful, quick, and concise. When she wasn't sure what I wanted or forgot, she asked me to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. When my nail was too short for the design I wanted, she tried something slightly different and "nailed" it. (◠‿◕) I'm very happy with the results, and I will definitely be back.

I don’t live in GR anymore, or I would still be a faithful customer to this salon. I worked up the street from them & I used to come here every two weeks a couple years ago. No matter what technician I had, my nails were always great & they could accommodate any requests I had, and if a nail broke they’d fix it for me immediately. The owners were absolutely SO lovely, husband & wife team knows what they are doing! They would greet me by name, speak to me by name, and overall treat me well. I always recommended this salon to my friends !!

Came here today for the first time, believe I had Tony he definitely shaped my nails good. They were coffin originally but he filed the edges making them look better. Fill in with shellac 1 nail fixed and glitter on 2 nails was $46 even though it was a good$11 more than what I usually pay I would come back

I was in recently as a walk in for shellac and they got me in quickly and efficiently. Only a few complaints—when the nail tech was cutting my cuticles, my finger started to bleed, and didn't disinfect it afterwards. She didn't buff my nails: the shellac got cured with bubbles, but the paraffin treatment was nice (even though everyone sticks their hands in the paraffin). They were friendly and inexpensive, and could be a little more clean, but not terrible for the price!

First time to Pleasant Nails and it was a great experience. They got me in right away, had excellent service for both pedi and mani with shellac, and great prices. My nail tech was very nice and attentive and I would definitely go back. The one thing I would change was with the paraffin, which I have never seen at another nail salon in Grand Rapids, was the same container for all customers. Great service, but would be less worrisome if they had multiple containers or poured the paraffin over the container. Overall, great experience!

My nails look great, they have made good accommodations for Covid and overall I am happy with my experience. However, as a Cosmetologist and Cosmetology instructor I am anyways hyper aware of a spas sanitation practices. My nail tech did not put the implements she used into a barbicide container after using them on me like she should have, but rather right back into her kit. And she rinsed the foot scrubber In the foot bath and put it back into her kit. I’m hoping and expecting everything was thoroughly sanitized/disinfectant after being used but I can’t be sure as these practices do not follow state regulation.

I have been to this salon a few times. Each time my nails looked great. I just went online to make an appointment and got caught up reading the reviews. Wow! The owners replies are hilarious but somewhat unsettling. The conversations look like a script from Seinfeld! I’ll go elsewhere

I've been to this salon twice and had mixed experiences. The first time I went, I was totally impressed on how well the woman did my nails. They turned out perfectly how I wanted them. I was also surprised that the owner (or seemed like the owner) said my name when saying goodbye. The second time I went, I had a male technician do my nails and I was not very happy. He didn't place a towel down on the table. He had my hands practically in his lap so I was very uncomfortable the entire time trying to lean over the table. I do appreciate him taking his time and trying to do a good job, but it took way longer than it should of. I just had a fill done, and it took almost 1.5 hours. He did not understand when I showed him how one nail looked longer and much different than the others. I understand there is a language barrier, but he should of realized this on his own. The biggest downfall to this place is that it's definitely not the cleanest. You can tell they don't worry about cleaning up too much which make me a little uneasy. The floor, tables, and equipment are all pretty dirty. The positive is that both times the technician doing my nails actually seemed to care about detail and if I was happy. It's hard to find that these days. I would recommend this place, but I would keep in mind that there are cleaner places around.

My toes look good but I can paint my toes myself. I get pedicures for the foot massage that I can’t do myself. I did not get a massage with my pedicure and they already charge more than most places around for a pedicure! I’ll be going somewhere else the next time I want to be pampered.

Love this place! The owners are always onsite and watch over things to make sure your needs are taken care of. They are so friendly and helpful here, I always feel right at home. And the techs pay attention to detail with the manicures and pedicures. Oh and a paraffin dip is included in my shellac manicure....nice. My boyfriend complained it took too long for a pedicure...haha that's funny to me. A nice relaxing pedicure in a massage chair can never be too long IMO. Prices are VERY reasonable. I recommend this place to all my friends!

So i'm a dude who tries to stay as clean as possible, meaning eyebrows, feet, nails, skin, etc. I seek quality when it comes to this form of cosmetic care. After being greeted and treated under the care of Trang, all I can say is I am more than satisfied with their work. Not only did Trang give me a great service, she was also very sweet! This nail and spa has definitely won me over with overall aesthetics, performance and quality. 11/10 would recommend and coming back (for Trang :3)

Was in and out fast service mani pedi eyebrows I did make an appt and I will be going back and recommend this place to others I went the extra mile and got the shellac is that how you spell it lol it’s extra like ten dollars so that’s that and bring cash so you can tip that’s what the sign says overall I spent 88 for the service and I tipped the lady 12 so total was 100 not bad for the kind of service I received yes they are practicing social distance and wearing mask
