I absolutely love this place. Vickie is my go-to-gal and I have multiple family members who regularly see Amy. I schedule appointments every 3 weeks and I never have problems with my nails breaking or chipping. All of the ladies here are friendly and so fun to be around. I highly recommend!

Amy is the Bomb. If you have had a bad experience with the Dip powder, give Amy a try. She gets them super thin so they aren't heavy on your nails like acrylic a but are harder and last longer than sheilac. She is awesome to talk to and always has good recommendations when I can't decide on color!

I have been coming to Thia’s since I moved to Des Moines, over 8 years! All the ladies are amazing but Vicky is my go to. Being a walk in is not easy but making an appointment is. They take good care of you there!!

Make an appointment with Pok on Saturdays, you won't be disappointed . She consistantly books up for good reason. Still one of the cleanest/friendliest salons in the City. Update: Pok is there occasionally but many of the technicians are seasoned professionals. I still recieve amazing services with excellent results.

I had a great experience here yesterday! I never get my nails done, but Amy immediately helped me figure out what I wanted. From then on, she was wonderful and very fast. I’m so happy with the quality , the prices, and speed! I was in and out in a little over an hour and it was PACKED when I came in! I’ll definitely be back!

Walked in not knowing they preferred appointments. Vicky told me to come back in an hour and she would take care of me. Pedi and dip manicure. I love, love, love, my nails. This is my place from now on!

The lady who did my nails was super nice she was soft and gentle with my hands. She wasn't rude and she wasn't too talkative (which is an A+ for me) but did make sure and ask if i was doing okay or asking if she was hurting me. I told her about my career choice and she listened and she told me a story about past clients 😂 (no names were given) the shop was super cute and organized. I was greeted under 10 mins and she helped me pick colors and even showed me on fake nails what they'd look like on me. I will definitely be going back to this salon❤

This is by far my favorite nail salon in Des Moines. The ladies are amazing! Anna and Vicky are great. Super friendly and also helpful. When I came in to get my nails done I had my five month old son was very fussy and they still gave me the best of service. Helping with soothing him so I could enjoy myself and get my nails done. Anna who did my pedicure recommended the new dipping method for your nails and I am in love still. They feel so much lighter and the process overall was amazing. I will continue to have my nails done this way. I will not be going anywhere else to get my nails done besides here! I do recommend calling to schedule an appointment since they are very busy. I have zero complaints and have enjoyed my service here.

Thia runs an immaculate and professional nail salon. The staff is skilled, polite and friendly. If you're looking for a top of the line salon with great attention to detail this is the place. I only wish I could rate more than 5*

One of the Cleanest nail salons l have been in! It is maintained & imaculant. Ladies are well groomed, wear smocks & personable. Pedicure was good, would of preferred 3 coats of polish. l have experienced far better leg rubs & pressure. First visit, not sure if l will return.

Thia's Nails has it all- excellent customer service, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices, and my nails look FABULOUS! Jade was very efficient, but still took the extra time to make sure they were perfect. Thia's is so much nicer than some other nail salons I've been to, no chemical smell, nice natural lighting, and a very homey feel. I will definitely be going back!

I love this place. Always super clean and I am quite the germaphobe. Thia is a sweetheart and definitely a perfectionist not only with your nails, but all aspects of her business. I've never had to wait for a service, and everybody is always so friendly! Highly recommend!

This is my favorite nail place, hands down! :) They are super professional and do a fantastic job! The color lasts a really long time and they are very friendly! It also does not have that strong smell like other nails places. I would recommend Thia's to anyone wanting a great experience!

Personable and professional. As with all places to be human is to make errors however it is not often and it is fixed. I personally go to Vicki for my nails, she is excellent, Helen is great with pedicures, Thia is great with nails, the other ladies are good as well.

Annna did my nails and did a nice job! She didn't shave my natural nail down too much and the acrylic coat isn't too think, but it probably needed to be thicker. My first nail broke after the 2nd day. My second nail broke off my pinky and you can see my nail, which it hard to explain but I know shouldn't happen. I had a good experience, but quality it was not. P.S, I got the coffin/ballerina style nail.

I really enjoy the detail oriented work and didn’t seem like they were cutting corners. The only thing I recommend is perhaps some music ? The dead silence is quite awkward. Even some big TVs for entertainment while you wait. Thanks for being accommodating to a walk-in
