After hearing great things about Bliss, I stopped in to get a fresh set for fall. I love love LOVE my nails! I had never gone with this shape before but they turned out amazing and I left feeling so cute. You can tell everyone there takes pride in their work and wants your nails to look great, not just to get you in and out. I will definitely be back!

I love the concept. However, they seemed too busy to serve drinks so I did not order one. I liked my nails and got what I asked for. They lasted as long as expected. One thing to note was a random long wait in the middle of the application where my tech disappeared for like 20 min without really telling me he was leaving. My friend that got a pedicure wound up getting done before me because of that. My only true warning/nitpick would be that if you make an appointment time, you're probably still going to have to wait.

I had a nail crisis today and Edmond at BlissNaild&Bar saved the day! I feel like a comparable reference for what he pulled off is the same as Geri did in the movie toy story 2, when he completely restored Woody. Now my wedding nails are picture ready. I highly recommend him and this place, not only was it great service, the atmosphere is also a mood lifter.

Had a very thorough pedicure when visiting! I was also greeted right away and seated within 5 minutes of my appointment. I was offered a drink (for purchase) immediately and everything was spelled out regarding services and prices very clearly. I will return when I'm in Des Moines next!

Every single person who works at this salon genuinely enjoys their job and the clients they work with. They're more than willing to go above and beyond and listen to me. The amount of attention to detail they give to every nail is the exact reason I'll never go anywhere else, that and their prosecco ♥️

Love this place! I’ve been there a handful of times now and always have a good experience. The bartender is a total sweetheart and super attentive to our needs. The older gentleman who removed the bad manicure I got from another place is as very light-hearted and calm. He noticed bruising on my knees (from gardening all afternoon) but quietly asked me if I was safe at home. SO THOUGHTFUL while being discrete about that topic! The woman who did my manicure was so complimentary and made sure my set was beautiful! Only critique is that they are a bit rushed with their work, but I think it’s due to how busy they are! Regardless of that, I plan to keep coming here in the future!

I’ve finally found a nail salon that is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and the nail technicians don’t saw my fingers to the bones! They’re gentle! Which is a rare find let’s be honest. When it comes to picking a color and a shape they get it right every single time. I can’t say enough good things about Bliss Nails.

This place is great! I love the drink menu. They have wine and cocktails. The employees are nice. They do a good job. I gave a 4 start review because I think they can work on a couple things. It’s hard to communicate, pedicure massages could be better and they can take it easy on the cuticles. These small things don’t stop me from coming back. Overall, I think if you are downtown or in the metro are.. you should definitely try this place out!

Bliss is always welcoming. Is there anything better than beautiful nails and an amazing cocktail? Maybe happy hour...Leo is amazing and can do anything to your nails that your heart could desire. Parking is limited at times, but there is a cheap garage a block away.

We were in town for the weekend. My daughter and I came in for a manicure and pedicure. They were WONDERFUL!! And the pleasure of having a bar there as well was great! Becca was an excellent bartender. She kept the drinks going and made the BEST drinks. The nail techs (I didn't catch their names) were also great. Did a fabulous job!!!!

The best place to get your nails done in DM. Staff is a lot of fun and quality of nails lasts. Best place I've had do dip nails. And they serve drinks...perfect girl time spot!

This place is amazing. The aesthetic is beautiful. My nails look fabulous and the conversation I had with the two people working on me was fantastic. They are all so kind and I was able to get my manicure while I got my pedicure done. They offer all kinds of drinks as well, which is a plus. The best mani/pedi I've ever had.

My friends and I went here for pedicures before her bachelorette party. The bartender and drinks were great. It was unfortunate that you can only tip in cash and are not told that beforehand. The pedicures were not great. The polish is see through in some areas and rough in some as well. One of the techs had airpods in the entire time, which I found extremely unprofessional. They also were out of some colors that were offered.

Went for my friends 21st birthday. Super sweet staff and super nice bartender. I got acrylic blue nails that are beautiful but I wish they would’ve filled it to the cuticle. Based off their photos, it looks like that is the normal thing. And my left index nail is shorter than the right index so it makes it look a little uneven. Due to it not being filled to the cuticle I may have to remove them sooner than I wanted but overall I loved the nail techs and will be back.

It was the best place I’ve been to, the employees were so nice and they offer drinks there too! I loved it! If you are looking for a place to go to get your nails done I really recommend here! They also have reasonable prices for a place like this! They have the most creative things you can do there like a bath bomber in your pedicure! It’s sooo great!!!

Took my bridesmaids for a party. Bar tender was slow and didn't seem to know what she was doing. Then the shift change came and beca the new bar tender rocked the party. Love her! Our nails look fabulous and beca was great she knows how to make a tasty drink. Price was excellent. perfect for a girls day.

Prices were fair, customer service was good, nails were excellent. Nate the bar tender didn't want to split the change to get a tip so I guess he didn't want one. He would "break the hundred" but "I'm not splitting $4" sorry I didn't want to break the hundred, guess more for the nail boi, who did an excellent job. Whatever I just got one drink, I wasn't going to tip out = to the drink

Fun atmosphere to be in! A Much-needed nail salon in downtown Des Moines that has a full bar. Huge color selection in regular polish, gel, and dipping powder. The interior is nice and creative! The only downfall is parking so if you’re wanting to come, come ahead of time to find a spot abt 15 minutes early before your appointment to get your drinks. Tips in cash are appreciated there since you can’t tip on the card.

Great Customer service, I loved they used disposable plastic in pedicure tub as other places i have gone I have watched them and they do not sanitize their tubs they just rinse them out. I think most of the items used during my pedicure were disposable so that assures me of cleanliness. Great Place I will be returning again

Would give better rating but I had let them know that I wanted dipping powder and they told me well we already have the stuff on for gel and I had told them I work in a construction industry and that the gel would come off easily which it is starting to and I just got my nails done on Saturday and it is Tuesday not very happy
