I have had a few different services (color twice and Keratin Treatment) with Karis and everytime I am so pleased with her color technique, her suggestion for the keratin treatment was on point and made a huge difference in the texture of my hair. She is a very impressive young stylist with amazing skill and personality to boot! Definitely visit the spa school and ask for her!

I took my daughter here yesterday to get a cut and style. She said that her stylist was very nice and a friendly teacher consistently was there to offer suggestions to the student that cut my daughter's hair. I personally feel that it took a bit long but I also appreciate that they took the time to achieve the look my daughter was aiming for. I would and have referred friends to this place. They offer a full range of services and at a great price! Way to go The spa school!

Not necessarily a personal review. I’m looking at these reviews and I think it’s important to remember that this is a school …where you LEARN, and that if you want something ask for the advance students . If you want something to be done specifically then go to an experienced professional

Today was my first time going. I had shoulder length plum colored hair. I wanted a long pixie cut with vibrant purple. Taylor and the instructor were absolutely amazing. They listened, asked if I had pictures to get an idea. They were honest and so friendly. My hair turned out ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I am thrilled I went and now have a favorite place. They do great work in a fun, friendly atmosphere. I love it💜

The first time I went they fixed a huge problem from another hair person and did a fantastic job. I was so happy. I was complimented for weeks. The 2nd time I went they made my hair look worse than when I walked in the door and I was so upset. Im not going back. Its like a gamble there. Either you'll have an extraordinary job done or it would be better to leave your hair the way it is. I understand they are students so I'm not angry, just disappointed.

I almost didn’t go after reading the reviews but I’m so glad I did! I had a great experience! My stylist, Hoda, was very knowledgeable about my hair type and texture. And her supervisor, Ms. Smith,was very thorough and helpful in her review and critique of the cut. I was so pleased with the services I scheduled an appointment for next week before I left and I plan to stop in every week when my schedule permits.

Very Thorough & a Great Value I've only been once for a hair cut & a wash, but am already planning my spa side visit. Treated myself, my daughter & my mother & the ladies we each had were great. They were meticulous & ensured the cuts were just right. Also loved that we had the opportunity to sit next to each other.

I took my mom there for her birthday, and for my hair done as well. The young lady who did my hair was AWESOME!!! Her name was Briann I think and she was amazing. I have "natural ethnic" hair and she talked me through everything she was doing and did an amazing job. She has a customer for life!! My hair feels like it has NEVER before, she was funny, humble, sweet, knowledgeable and made the whole visit fun. Her tip was more then half of my cost and I felt she deserved more. I want her to always do my hair even AFTER she graduates. I can't say enough about this young ladies talent and my enjoyment of being around her. I❤️U Briann.

You know.. these teachers deal with a lot and students constantly come and go with education being fast-tracked into graduation. I'm not going to get into the complaints (which I do have like everyone else) or discredit the bad reviews here. I enjoyed the majority of my time in school and Mrs. Turf was the most wonderful teacher to her students. I have never had a better teacher than her.

The spa school (Clintonville) is what you would expect from a student training environment. Sometimes the services are extremely higher than expected and sometimes they leave a lot to be desired. I know what I’m paying for, so my expectations are low regarding the services. Where the business lacks is front desk customer service. mostly it is students at the front taking reservations. They can be quite rude and lack in knowledge of the day-to-day operations. My suggestion is to add customer service training to the curriculum, if it’s not already.

I went to school there about 8-9 years ago. I love my job and where the degree has taken me in life. It just depends on the instructor. I had some great instructors and one REALLY bad instructor she made going there a bad memory but really it was just her. I have herd she is still there.
