the service and staff at after hours is the absolute best! they are so friendly and are excellent nail artists! i have gotten acrylics, gel artwork, and dip manicure from Kieu who is the absolute BEST around! everyone i know goes here. i recommend after hours to everyone who wants quality manicures and artwork. Nat is so friendly too, always offering clients a luxury experience with drinks if they want it!

I loveeeee this salon . I came a year ago after my “luxury nail salon “in white marsh kept doing me dirty . I have been here ever since and I’ve never been disappointed! Kieu is amazing’!!!! I love her soo much !! Susan’s designs are impeccable, Nat is soo sweet and does an amazing job . The music playing is always a vibe and I love the genuine caring atmosphere that is provided. After hours Spa is pleasant and memorable experience🥰🥰

They treat every guest like family and always offer snacks and wine when I come in. I had a really great experience. I was in town basically as a long layover and decided to get my nails done. Natalie was super accommodating and did such a wonderful job on my gel manicure. Well priced too! Not sure next time I'll be in Baltimore but you can bet I'd stop back in here again!

I really wanted to love this place based off all the great reviews but I will give it 3 stars and here’s why. My nails turned out quite decent , BUT the nail tech that did my nails ,Susan, was not friendly at all. I was there for a good 2 hours and she didn’t say a word to me, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Whereas Natalie was extremely friendly to her clients and was very nice to me. So since I got dip, when Susan applied the tips, I told her nicely that I didn’t really like how the tips were kind of visible and see throguh and I wish it was a bit more opaque, but the way she replied was not nice AT ALL. She didn’t speak to me the entire time but when it was time to tip, she started complimenting me which seemed quite fake considering she had not said a word to me those 2 hours I was there . All in all, if I’m back, I hope to get serviced by Natalie she seemed way nicer and knows how to treat her clients well from what I observed.

Staff was super friendly, the work was done well, and based on eavesdropping it's clear they have a lot of regulars. Price was also very good! However—they specifically told me to arrive at 9:15 am on a Saturday. I double checked the time, because google shows they open at 10. She confirmed 9:15. I was there, as was another customer who'd been told the same thing. We were waiting outside for 15 minutes until the staff rolled in at the crack of 9:30. They didn't acknowledge that they were late for their own appointments, they didn't offer any apologies or discounts, they just unlocked the door and started doing their opening duties, so I didn't even get started until 9:50 and my parking meter was halfway done. Also, they have mice. No, I didn't mention anything about a discount to them. Frankly, it was so inexpensive it felt like a jerk move to ask, but as it was 100% on them, they should have asked me + the other customer they kept waiting, or offered us a discounted service to return. So, I won't be. Which is too bad! Good place if you don't care about your time. Or cleanliness.

This was my mother and I’s first time visiting the shop and before I even entered the building, Natalie made sure I had what I needed! Both ladies were extremely patient and helped us choose what colors/designs we wanted for my birthday celebration and when I tell you… their work is amazing! Susan and Natalie's work in incomparable. They pay such attention to detail, take their time and make sure you get exactly what you ask for. My nails have not broken between visits and my gel polish never looks faded, I've gone a month between visits and you could only tell from the growth. Highly recommend making an appointment beforehand

My first time coming here and it was such an awesome experience. Susan was great with my fill in and pedicure. She took her time and paid great attention to detail. The environment was friendly, calm and the customer service was great. I had my 2 and 8 year old with me and they were very understanding accommodating my two little ones with crayons and paper to draw. This location is very close to home. With the quality service, reasonably priced gel mani and pedi, great hours, accommodating and great management I think I found a new nail home 💚💚💚 Thank you Susan and Natahlie

I have always had an amazing experience at After Hours. They have fit me in after they close and still took their time and didn't rush or make me feel bad about it. Nathalie is the owner and she is very sweet and involved in the community. Susan is quiet but opens up when you get to know her and she does an amazing job. I’m new to Baltimore and I came here because the reviews were great… Positive- staff was friendly and I like the energy of the nail salon as a whole. Negative- I called and scheduled a 5:30 appointment for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I arrived at 5:30 for my appointment but no one started my services until 6pm. I’m use to these 2 services taking about an 1 1/2hr-2hrs total. However, by 7:15 the only service that had been completed was the pedicure. I told them that I would just pay for that service and be done. I’m not sure if this is the norm or if they were just running behind today. I’m willing to give them another chance but I was just not prepared to be in there so long for 2 basic services and not even have them complete after almost 2 hrs in the salon. No one even said “sorry for the wait” or “ we’re running a little behind today”. The pedicure I did receive is good and I appreciate the nail tech, whom I believe was Natalie being so diligent.

Natalie was really welcoming and nice. I called and asked if they have any availability, and she was able to setup my appointment and once I arrived, she was extremely kind and helpful. The only issue I faced was with my nail tech who seemed extremely distracted and made me feel like she was trying to rush me out. I’m not sure if she was having an off day or had something urgent going on, but she was harsh a couple of times while doing my nails and almost cut me three times. She left in a hurry twice and would come back in a rush. She also seemed to be in a hurry to check her phone. Additionally, she barely spoke a word or even said hi. The only time she spoke to me was to complain about my nails being weak and to tell me to not get French nails and instead to just paint them. I could tell she was irritated by the fact that I wanted French tips. The whole experience with her made me feel really uncomfortable. Outside of this, I really did like the salon and the women there seem really kind. When my nail tech left while I soaked off my nails without giving me the dip color options to choose from, Natalie came and provided me with the colors and helped me choose. She made my 2 star experience a 4 star. She was extremely sweet. I also saw how careful and thorough the other nail techs were, and also how friendly they are. I would come back again and get serviced by the other ladies, and give it another shot.

Their business hours are also the best. Call for an appointment, but if you don't the wait is totally worth it. I highly recommend.

I checked Yelped for "Best Nail Salons" within 3 miles from where I live. After Hours Nails and Spa was one of the first to come up. I called to make an appointment the day before my visit with no problem. The lady on the phone was very patient and kind when answering questions. My appointment was for 10am the following morning. I arrived on time and I was seated and taken care of right away. I needed a fill in, 3 nails repaired and my nails cut down. My total, $54 bucks. Fair! There were only 2 of us being serviced at 10 am. My nail tech was diligent and so precise, also very quiet :) I do not remember her name, she didn't tell me. She was seated at the first chair in the front of the salon. The nice, talkative lady in the back polished my nails because the next appointment just arrived for a fill in. I chose a nude colored gel polish and wanted just 2 abstract nail designs (lines and squares). She wasn't confident in executing so I chose to stick with the plain nude color. I still love them and would return in a rush. I really wanted just 2 designs and really, really like a little more lush and spazz when getting my nails and toes done so I'll keep looking for "my" salon.

I go with my friend here every 2-3 weeks and they are absolutely AMAZING! Nathalie and Susan are so sweet and funny but more importantly, they do such an amazing job! I always leave loving my nails. Nathalie is truly a nail polish color whisperer and will pick the perfect color for you. This has become our relaxation ritual and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you need a nail artist, look no further!

Dropped by one morning without an appointment but this was just after they had opened, so no one else was waiting. I was served by G and he did a fantastic job. Took his time making sure my nails were done right even though another customer came in a little later and was waiting. I got a dip and a gel french manicure. It came out exactly like the photo I'd shown him. Would definitely recommend him and the prices are very reasonable.

Got my nails done there and my acrylic was laid beautifully, HOWEVER, if you're thinking about getting your nails here MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF TIME! My friend and I made a 530 boot, game early and were there for almost 3 hours and saw only 2 techs working, several customers turned away or asked to come back at a later time. This was at 530pm on a Thursday. Natalie is bubbly, talkative and a nail color whisperer. She will work hard to make sure you're happy. Susan, is the only person who does acrylic and either didn't seem to understand or didn't want to talk. She said she would do what I asked but didn't in the end. I'm unsure if it was because it was so busy or she was rushing but my nails weren't perfect. When I pay for something, I want to leave 100% satisfied and I wasn't. I live out of town so for someone who isn't my regular nail tech, she did a great job. There were only a few things I had to ask Natalie to fix while I got my toes done. (Natalie made my experience a 4.5 instead of a 3 star experience.)

My experience at After Hour Nail salon was a 10/10. Being new to the city, this was the first nail salon I have been to in Baltimore and I will never go anywhere else. After hour nails and spa go above and beyond to make your nails look perfect. Nathalie and Susan are both professional, funny, and caring. They make you feel welcome. This will be my third trip to after hour nails and spa. First trip I got gel pedicure, and dip powder manicure. Second trip gel manicure. My third trip gel manicure and gel pedicure. Both manicure and pedicure last a long time. It's so perfect even after few weeks of service. I even ate Maryland crabs both with my dip nails and gel manicure and no chip. If you want more reinsurance that the nails are so good I work with a touch screen computer and I have to staple all the time. The nail salon hours are perfect for someone who needs service in odd hours. The location is in Fed Hill. I will be looking forward to many more visits.

I made 2 last minute appointment and got received right away. The customer service was amazing I went in wanting a specific color and I saw that they didn’t have it. The ladies saw that I was unable to pick a color so she began experimenting to get the exact color I wanted. My nails were exactly what I was looking for I’m in love with them. These women are incredible!! We walked in without an appointment at 7:30pm and they were fully booked- they told us to come back at 9:30 pm (after they should’ve been closed) and took care of us. Great conversations, and this is the longest my gel nails have ever stayed without peeling. Cannot wait to go back!

Natalie was so great and absolutely accommodating in helping to make sure myself, sister and mom were able to get manicures before we left for a cruise out of Baltimore. Their salon was right across from the Airbnb we stayed in and Natalie and her other co-worker came in early one day to finish up my mom and I's nails. Their work is high-quality and they make sure to pay attention to the small details. My nails are going on week four and aside from my nails growing, the polish still looks great with no chipping! Only wished we lived closer to make this our regular spot.

Good experience. Was kind of expensive. The actual building is small and not a ton of colors to choose from. Reminds me of an old school nail salon.. Probably will go again.

Lovely new nail salon run by two sisters! They took this place a few months ago and completely revamped it with new furniture and equipment everywhere to create a warm, clean, and relaxing vibe. Their goal is to create a comfortable and unrushed experience without a crowd in the salon. I got a gel mani and normal pedi at a very reasonable price. I also really appreciated the meticulate and patient service! You also get the mini take-home file set they use on you because they open new ones for each customer. These ladies are thoughtful, caring, and welcoming!
