I absolutely love this place! I struggled to find a good nail salon that could give me great looking nails every time I went. That is until I found Avante! Jenny is amazing and always is up for the fun styles I want to do! If your looking for a good environment with friendly staff and a great selection of colors this is your place! Make sure to make an appointment because they book up! Here are just a few of the amazing nails they have done for me!

These guys are amazing! My friend and I showed up 30 minuets before they were supposed to close, looking to schedule an appointment for later. they insisted we go ahead and get our nails done now! Even after we said we were fine with just scheduling for a different date, they stated it was better for us to go ahead and get our nails done. They did an amazing job! Very accommodating and patient with a couple of newbies. I love my nails and will definitely be going back some time!

I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and ombre glitter. Overall experience was good. The nail tech seemed a little inexperienced, but I cannot fault someone for learning. I do like how often they asked if the nails were okay. I love how I didn't feel like they were in a rush to get me out like other nail salons are. I did change my mind on the design a few times and they still aimed for perfection. I will definitely be back! Best nail salon overall in town!!

I absolutely LOVE this salon! The lady that did my nails, Bobo, did an amazing job! It looks exactly like the picture I showed her. This is my second time here and the second time I have been blown away by the quality of their services. The salon itself is clean, well staffed, friendly, and inclusive. They are lgbtq+ friendly, and always make me feel safe and comfortable when I’m in the chair. 10/10 would recommend, and I will always be going back when I want a gorgeous set.

Start to finish the only critique I have is the cleanliness of the salon and the callus removal process of my pedicure. Cleanliness needs some work. Clean the windows, dust, wipe down pedi chairs where armrests are etc. nothing that would knock them down that bad from state board. But could be improved. Callus removal process was pretty below average. Cuticle removal was above average though and so was the paint job. The rest was so-so. Will still return because of the atmosphere for sure and the girl at the front desk was super helpful in getting us a spot for same day.

Avante is the absolute best nail salon in AVL! They are so talented, sweet, and the vibe is just amazing every time. I work with my hands all day every day and they hold up and stay perfect for so long! Any time I show a photo of a design idea they not only replicate it but improve on it and it is my favorite self care day every month. Wow I am AMAZED! I had never been to Avante before but needed a nail salon open on Sunday! I am so glad I found this salon Quinn is absolutely amazing I showed her a picture of a complicated design and she was so artistic she made it even better and more creative than the picture. Beautiful shape and colors and a really fun atmosphere. I kept looking over at everyone else’s nails too and they all looked great. I highly highly recommend Quinn and Avante it is rare to find somewhere with such talent! Thank you, I will be back!

Amazing job on my manicure!! After 2 weeks it still looks great. Appreciated the complimentary wine too! Pedicure was "ok" never did get the "massage" that was advertised? I did ask for the higher version. Maybe next time.

Great concept, not sure they pulled it off. We loved the jelly pedicure, but we heard at least two others that needed corrections on their nails after they were done… and when I got home, I realized they didn’t paint my full little toe nail. They also never got the drink they asked if I wanted. Just a bit underwhelming.

GET THE JELLY PEDICURE!! I love this place, everyone is so kind and understanding. They are willing to do any design and go above and beyond to make all of the customers happy. I was in there the other day when someone refused to pay and was beyond rude. The owner handled that situation with so much kindness and grace, I would have lost my mind. They remember me every time I come in and work hard to make space for drop-ins buts I recommend making an appointment since they are ASHEVILLE'S BEST KEPT SECRET. Both times I've been here my nails turned out so beautiful. You guys truly have some talented artists that work here. The first time I came there was a bridal party that pushed everyone's appts back a while. I didn't mind waiting though and they stayed much later than their closing time to get everyone done. They didn't rush us through to get us out either, they still did it thoroughly and I really appreciated that.

I adore this salon. It is the most upscale, beautiful, quaint CLEAN & relaxing salon I’ve been to in Asheville (and I’ve been to tons). You’d think the prices for services here would be outrageous, but they’re just as comparable as all of the others! Every single technician I’ve been to has been excellent. Right now I’m especially loving what Jenny is doing for my manicures!! You can tell that the owner of this salon takes serious pride in all of her clients’ results. Her technicians are amazing, friendly trained professionals. I love my nails after each and every visit and I always can’t wait to come back. The color selection in all types of polishes whether regular, gel or dip powder is unmatched by any other salon. Brow tinting, eyelash extensions and waxing are also offered in a private setting. Honestly, there isn’t a single complaint I have about this salon. I’m so grateful it also happens to be the closest one to me.

Avanté is absolutely the best nail salon in the Asheville area and the most color selection I've ever seen in any nail studio. The space is clean and relaxing with cool vibe, always a plus. As a salon professional, I really appreciate the time and care they put into their services. Before I went to Avanté, I had negative experiences with impatient nail techs who would aggressively remove my polish (and my nail) away, this does not happen here. Every artist is properly educated on the products they use which is a huge because my nails are the healthiest they've ever been!

I have mixed emotions. The nail technician herself did a wonderful job with the polish and my nails look great; however this was not a relaxing experience overall. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a manicure and pedicure. My nail technician was late which is totally fine that happens but then I felt like the manicure was rushed and I didn’t even get the massage which I enjoy so much. When it was finally time for my pedicure there was no one to do it. Which forced the women who did my manicure to do my pedicure which everyone at the salon made clear she does not do. Since she had another appointment my pedicure felt rushed as well. Honestly I just felt like an inconvenience here today and didn’t get the full relaxation I was hoping for. On the bright side my nails look great.

I booked an appointment for my mom and I for acrylic manicures and pedicures! We got there on time, after about 30 minutes after our appointment time, I got called back to get my nails done while my mom waited, Jenny did my nails and did a great job! I liked them very much and matched the picture! I was disappointed though because I wanted to be with my mom since we booked the appointment together! Then my mom got called back to her pedicure while my nails where still getting worked on! My moms pedicure lasted about 10 minutes and the nail tech ripped the skin around her toes off extremely hard. Then after my nails were done I went to get my pedicure and my mom went to get her manicure. Which again was disappointing as we wanted to be together. My pedicure lasted around 10 minutes as well I payed $50 for my pedicure, I didn’t get the special things I payed for. I got the extremely basic service even though I payed for more. My cuticles got ripped and hurt as well. Then when we went to pay there were tons of extra charges such as $5 just for shaping . Over all I was very happy with my nails, but it was very rushed and chaotic and not as enjoyable as I would hope!

Let me start with I have never been to a cleaner more relaxing spa...I found Avanté by looking for a place close to our hotel. It was the highest rated & the closest. Win! Win! From the time I walked in the door until the time I left I felt welcome & relaxed. After wax I had the best, most relaxing pedi I've ever had... Ask for the jelly. AMAZING. And the pedi chairs, wow... I had been told by my home spa that I couldn't get ombre color with the dip. Not true. (See pic). The owner didn't hesitate in saying, yes I can do that... just before I left a lady came in to get her nails done for her wedding (I believe). Brought in material from her dress & the owner came up with the idea to use it on her nails. Wish I could have stayed to see that... If I lived in Ashville this would definitely be my go to spa. All the employees are friendly & professional. Will be back every time we come thru.

This place lived up to the glowing reviews. I brought my wife here for a mani-pedi. First their attention to cleanliness and hygiene is top rate! The facility is nice and clean. And a bit more stylish than other places I have visited. We arrived a little before closing and they all stayed late to lavish upon us. I ended up getting a pedi primarily for the massage. Who doesn’t love a foot massage? Quin gave me the first cut free and pain free pedi I have ever had. Gigi gave my wife an excellent mani-pedi. Quinn and Gigi were very kind, engaging and accommodating.

I had read all of the reviews and looked at the photos before going here for a full set and I was really excited! However, I didn’t see any reviews about the additional costs that they add, which are not mentioned on their website and I think will be useful for people to know. Their website says “$30” for a full acrylic set but it’s actually $35 - no biggie. However, they also charge an additional $5 to shape your nails. When I was looking at my receipt, I noticed the design costed an additional $25. Of course designs always add more, but I thought $25 was a lot considering I was only in the chair for about an hour from start to end (it wasn’t a difficult design). The lady who began my nails was also really thrown off when I showed her the design that I wanted, even though I saw a lot of similar designs in the photos with reviews. In the beginning, I showed them the design and we agreed on acrylic paint. On the receipt it said “full set + gel nails”. I explained that we said acrylic in the beginning, and then they informed me that they only do designs with gel polish, which I’ve never experienced at any other salon before. Overall, it was a nice experience and mostly everyone was very pleasant and sweet. I really appreciate them taking the time to try and accomplish the design I wanted. I just wish I had known before going in that I was going to be paying $75 (before tip) for an acrylic full set. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and this was the most expensive salon I have personally been to - so thought others might find it useful to know beforehand ☺️

I had an appointment for a bridal party with 6 girls scheduled for Wednesday 6/9 (the day before my wedding). There was a bit of confusion with the appointment I scheduled so I couldn’t get my lashes done, BUT they blew us all away with our nails. My sister who lives in Michigan said she would fly to Asheville just to get her nails done here. I have never had such an awesome experience. They got us right in no problem, and worked so hard. I really like Avante! I have had two gel manicures so far, one French and one color. Both turned out fantastic and looked great. They are super friendly and prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back, although there is the typical strong smell of a nail salon. Additional note, my 5 year old son has been with me both visits and they are very sweet to him and let him sit next to me while doing my nails. Very sweet!

Edit: returned to Avante and had an amazing experience! The salon owner is a complete professional, she has incredibly high standards and honestly I’ve never had a more perfect manicure in my life! Looking forward to my next appointment Loved the place, very clean. Super friendly staff. My only criticism is that my nail tech was very rough and cut my cuticles to the point of bleeding more than once. My hands have been very tender all day as a result. Otherwise, I’m impressed with the color selections, spa and atmosphere. I like that they lined the pedicure tubs and clearly opened a clean sanitized package of tools for my service.

This salon is wonderful. I unfortunately got a (now) former employee who is a great nail tech but she stole me from the salon and had me do my nails at her house. She charged me more than the salon and when I went to the current salon she charged me much more than her salon was charging for the services I got. She is talented but she is a con artist! This salon is clean, fair priced and all around great! I just happened to get a bad apple who is no longer there.

I have been going to this nail salon about a year now and they have been nothing but amazing! my last 2 sets of dip nails I had some issues, with no fault of theirs. I messaged quinn both times she fixed them, and also informed me why we were having the issues with the dipping and recommended I switch to allow my nails to heal. I appreciate her knowledge and attention to detail. I will continue to go back and bring my friends with me as well :) Gigi is also an amazing nail tech that i have used there as well!!

I’ve had good and “just ok” experiences at Avanté. It’s a very small space with just four manicure stations and four or five pedicure chairs. This is fine when they don’t over-extend themselves with walk-ins, but when they over-book, it’s hectic. Although they say walk-ins are welcome, be sure to have an appointment. When the manicure seats are full, they’ll try to start doing your service in a pedicure chair or even a folding chair near the back. Not the best experience when this happens. I’ve had two dip powder manicures and they’ve both looked great and lasted a full three weeks.

You guys - I just moved to Asheville and found not only Avante Beauty Lounge, but Joy who was my nail technician. Truly the BEST experience! From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left - I was treated with exceptional service. There was not a detail missed and I felt no pressure to upgrade services (although I did, because Joy made me feel very confident in her skill and recommendations). The value for what I purchased beyond shocked me. I have paid $55 in Ohio for pedicure treatments and have never received such an extensive service. Been here and there looking for the best nail salon in the Asheville area. Welcoming place, great atmosphere. The staff is great. They interact. Quinn is the one who’s mainly done my nails. She’s familiar with my style though I often change my mind last minute but is always patient with me. Highly recommend. Definitely my new place to get my nails done whether it be just a buffering. UPDATE: (cause I don’t think you can post a new review) I love this place. Came in the other day for just a simple polish color change and met with pleasant conversation and all around a great atmosphere. Love the work. Joy is the best nail professional I have ever been to. I bake and cook professionally, so I am very hard on my nails. Maintaining a clean, professional look is very important to me. I enjoyed the spa like atmosphere and was offered something to drink shortly after I got there. I have issues with ingrown toenails. The nail tech took her time and made sure my toenails were free from ingrown nails. I appreciate her attention to detail and the great customer service I received. I will definitely be back!

My only complaint was that I booked an appointment 2 days ahead at 3:30pm but they made me wait 1 hr and a few minutes after that and the process was 2 hrs long. I didn't expect to leave at 6:35pm so I was upset about that. I thought once you book an appointment they will have you start at that exact time but I guess I was wrong? I went with several friends and each of us had a different experience. One friend's nails were gorgeous but her pedicure which should have been the same as 2 of the others was not. One friend didn't get offered drinks when the others were. The receptionist continued calling me by the wrong name even though myself and a friend corrected her. My nails got none of the embellishments of the picture i showed even though I showed it a second time and mentioned that they were leaving stuff out. It was just all over the place.

This place is amazing. I had no idea it was tucked back off Smokey Park Hwy and I wish I had found it sooner. The inside has a laid back vibe with amazing decor. And the customer service was excellent. My sister is a very difficult customer who nitpicks everything and they handled her with ease. After searching for a long time I have to say that Avante is by far the best nail studio that I have found in the Asheville area. Both times I have been there I’ve been really happy with my nails but I have also been overcharged. Tonight I got a fill in and a design with gel polish. I expected it to be around &45-$50. I was never told there would be extra charges. I also didn’t receive the full design I asked for and while the design that was done was nice it is sloppy in areas. I have a cross on two of my fingers and neither of them resemble the other. At checkout I asked why my bill was so high and I was honestly shocked that I was charged so much for products that are normally included in the service price. I used to be a nail technician so when I say that a normal top coat of nail polish and Matte top coat cost the same I mean it and I know it. On top of all of that the person doing my nails bounced around between me and 3 other guests in the shop. If I’m paying $65 for a fill in I feel like I should be getting all of your attention. I shouldn’t have to wait for you to finish my service (and I had an actual appointment it wasn’t like I was a walk in) while you wax another guests eyebrows and paint another guests nails. Honestly I don’t mind to spend this kind of money on a good set of nails I just feel that it is unprofessional to not inform your guests of a price increase before you do the service. Overall I would recommend Avante to anyone and everyone just be warned that you do need to clarify pricing before hand or you probably be shocked when you checkout
