My husband went for a spray tan. A little nervous, but was put was put to ease by the ladies at the front desk. Results were exactly as described.

What an amazing tanning bed! There are color changing lights in the beds and they have such a nice variety of different bed strengths! The staff is very knowledgeable about skin types! Lorena helped me when I was there and she was so sweet and smart! Also You don’t have to wait, you get right in because they have many tannings beds available and fantastic service! I will definitely go here again!!

Was super amazing especially young lady up front I lost my wallet by front door at closing and hadn't even noticed I lost it and she called me and stayed late to return to me .that doesn't happen much these days so just that alone I love plus super clean and I even got a groupon for a package like 200 for 15 just to get you idea of things they also do their that was amazing .very nice and everyone I've met at different times amazing and again I forgot her name real cute young lady up front but thanks again .that was so nice of you .merry Christmas

Wonderful place. Clean, polite, friendly, not like so many other salons. Questioning the bulb changing though. Tanning should not leave you with no color, over and over and over. I’d give 5 stars but it’s iffy this year. A 20 minute bed should burn me. Always has but -Nope, not this summer.

For a tanning salon in ABQ, this one is probably the best for the price. I'm from out of state and tanning here is extremely over priced with poor beds. I've been on a hunt for a while for a salon with good pricing AND good beds. I've concluded that though 1st and Tan doesn't have the best beds, if you use their Groupon it's a good deal. Fairly clean and polite staff. You can walk in but may have to wait. They have an online scheduling system they prefer you to use and it is simple and easy.

As a first time tanner, I was hesitant and a little unsure of how everything worked but Taryn (owner) was incredible. She was helpful from the start and end to talk to with any questions I might have. The prices seemed more than reasonable, facility was clean, and met all of my expectations and more. Will definitely be back!

Friendly! Customer service is on point, always welcoming staff. Tried the Hempz hypoallergenic tanning lotion they sell & loving the results, I have a medium/dark tan 4 tans in, but I do tan easy not everyone is the same.

I went to First and Tan regularly before my wedding in May. The salon itself is cute and clean. I had never used a tanning bed before I went here. On my first visit, the front desk staff was friendly and helped me decide which lotion and bed to use, and how long to go for. I really enjoyed my experience and kept coming back. I like that you can buy a single session or a series, and that you can book online. I definitely recommend this place!

The lady at the counter (fairly certain she is the owner) is so sweet and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the products for sale. I love coming in to tan here and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!!

Came from another poor tanning facility I wasted my $ on- during my vacation here and then went to1st. NEW Bulbs, Clean beds and the tanning professional was truthful with me & understood the bad experience I encountered from a competitor. Go to 1st & you will get a exceptionally Excellent tan cheaper and you will be a satisfied repeat customer.

I’m from out of town and wanted to get a few sessions, price was inexpensive considering I don’t have a membership, the place is clean and smells good, the lady at front desk was super nice, thanks I’ll be back when I’m in town

Exceptional staff! ! Facility and tanning equipment always very clean and working ! I have been to other tanning salons...none equal to 1st and Tan. Couldn't be more pleased and have been a customer for many years!!!
