Was given a recommendation to go to this salon and I was not disappointed! They are fantastic. I had a design and colors in mind and Tina helped make it a reality. She was very detailed in all aspects of her work, from helping me pick the exact dip colors I wanted to matching the gold detailing (foil to polish). I absolutely love what she did with my nails and will be making this my go to nail salon! 💅 Highly recommend! 💅

I have been coming to lantern since I was going to prom in High School which is about 10 years . I always recommend them to everyone who asks where I go. Q,Tina, Lindsey, Benny are all amazing, there a few more but I just haven’t caught their names. They never fall short of amazing!

I want to leave a 5 star review specifically for an employee named Jasmine ❤️ She is such a sweetheart! I treated my mama for a mani & pedi after both of her dogs died 1 day apart. Jasmine noticed my moms sad face & asked what was wrong & once my mom told her the sad news she hugged my mom & consoled her the whole time she was working on my mom. The owners/management changed. I hardly recognized anyone when I went in. They try and mostly do a good job. I was nicked on a toe during my pedicure the in my cuticle area during my nails. I'm not sure if the current staff has the ability to do a great acrylic set. I might go back.

I came here to have my nails done. I’ve never been here before, but it’s the closest to where I was. I called first to make sure they were open and to check if there is a wait. The lady on the phone asked how far I was, I said 10min. When I got there I was greeted by Lindsey who also did my nails. First, the place was bright and clean. There was ample parking and the parking area felt safe. Lindsey prepped my nails. She was thorough and not heavy-handed. She handled my handles and nails with gentle precision. When she applied the gel paint, it was perfect! No side messes. This is indeed my fave nail place. If you are looking for a nail salon, this is the place to go!

Amazing experience! I called to make an appointment and they were able to get 5 of us in within an hour. We showed up right on time and they immediately had everything ready to sit us down! The lady who did my nails was extremely sweet and we had great conversations! One of the fastest manicures I have received and came out one of the best as well! Next time I go to Albuquerque and decide to go with the girls for a spa day this will definitely be the place we will go!

I had not been here before. Frankly, I was scared. I’ve been treated badly recently at a nail salon and just had no idea who to trust. My nails were a mess, sanded down to the point of damage and sensitivity, and broken. My experience at Lantern was SO great in every way. My tech was gentle and worked very hard, with an eye to getting everything just right. I am SO glad I came here and will return. Their kindness left me in tears when I got to my car. When I say I’ve had a bad experience recently. I am in no way exaggerating. I’m really so thankful I came into Lantern and will be back. Ive been coming to lantern for about 8 yrs now after having tried multiple salons & i couldn’t have been happier these last 8yrs. They are professional, caring & very considerate. Saw a style you like? Bring it in & they’ll make it into something no one else has had. They make sure you are well taken care of in all aspects of business. A very quick experience, I paid for the “deluxe” but it wasn’t exactly the most relaxing experience. The tool they used to get the heel dead skin off was in one area for a bit longer than it needed to be, so my right foot is a little more sensitive now. The leg massage was about 2 min per leg. They were nice just definitely not a place I’d go back.

This place is great! I went here for the first time today and will be coming back again! The environment was peaceful to get nails done and very clean. When they finished my acrylics I noticed they cleaned the equipment right away which was great for the next person. Lastly, staff was also very nice and professional.

My friends and I have become regulars here and they never fail to make their customers top priority. Although they get very busy (because they are so popular) they are QUICK and we’ve never had to wait around long. Every nail tech is kind, and phenomenal at what they do. I went in for a gel nail removal. Tried to do my own and got impatient. They got me in same day - on a Saturday. No wait. 15 minutes - no scrapping or prying. JENNE did a fantastic job. $5 and 15 mins later I walked out with polish free nails that didn’t look like they had been thru a shredder!!

I go there all the time for pedicures, manicures and waxing. Everyone is always very friendly and skilled. They did a fantastic job on my bridal manicure, accommodating my complicated design request. The place is very clean too, the nail techs clean the equipment and wash their hands in between every customer every time.

The lady who worked on my nails did a good job. It's been a week since I had the gel and it already has breaks and seems like it's going to come off. The cost was more than I was quoted so I had some sticker shock when I went to pay for the services. I had my child's nails also painted. The paint was chipping off the next day, not worth $8. They prefer cash. I paid for half of the services with cash and the rest on my card. I think this also has an effect on how much you pay.

11/28/2020 My original set of acrilic nails where with the dip and they where popping & snapping off with being done less than a week, I explained to the manager/owner that I paid $80.00 dollars for my manicure, pedicure and nail set and showed her my paper receipt. She kindly offered to (re do) them, I DECLINED getting the DIP on the acrilic nails again but would gladly accept the DIP on my REAL💅Nails. She the owner agreed but I eventually opt out for another classic original acriclic nail set with a MUCH much shorter trim. Overall I am completely satisfied and yes I will definitely go back for services and to support her business. 5*****🌟 star rating.

I've been here twice. First to get acrylics for my wedding a few months back. They were accommodating of my bridal party when I made reservations/appointments a few days in advance. Most recently, I went during my lunch break to get my nails painted to go out of town for a wedding. I was in and out so fast; I left and came back to work within an hour! The technician convinced me to get gel and I'm glad he did. Ten days later, they still look great, and that's saying a lot because I'm pretty hard on my hands and get pretty messy working with kids (think: glue, paint, mud, gak).

Went in for a pedi. Water was lukewarm. Nails not shaped evenly and instead of paying attention to the color I asked for, the tech just grabbed something similar. Most important, though, was watching how they "sanitize" the foot baths after use. Not good at all. I think I'm not going back here.

Bennie & Helen double teamed me!!!! Mani & Pedi done at the same time. Helllloooooo can you say MAXIMIZING!!!! I loved it. Found this place on, yup you guessed it... YELP!!!!! And I wasn't disappointed. Entering the facility, I found it to be spacious, clean, welcoming, free of that acrylic powder odor & very well organized. Upon entering I was immediately greeted & asked to pick my color. I did as told & was ushered to a spa chair where the services began. 10 minutes in & Benny starts this comedy routine & then has all other kinds of random convos until myself nor Helen could keep up. He's an all around jokester, a breath of fresh air. Helen is a doll, quite naive & shy, but observant. My services were concluded, I paid & was out of there. A little more than the average, but well worth the price for the services rendered. Located quite a distance from my hotel, it was a bit of a challenge to not only find this place but to get here on a busy traffic evening. I was glad that I pressed my way because it was a pleasurable way to conclude by stay in #theABQ.

I'm a nail tech myself who just moved into the area. I'm super picky about my nails because why would I pay for something if I can do it better, right? I was excited to get my nails longer because I switched careers and can actually keep longer nails now. Tina was freaking amazing! Even though it was a busy day, she took her time and was really patient in helping me choose the right colors, butterflies, and sequins. I have never had so many compliments on my nails in my life! This is a week later. No rhinestones have fallen off, and none of the nails have come off either. Beautiful job! As I was sitting there, I listened to the other clients around me and their conversations with their nail techs. Everyone is so welcoming, and every client left happy! It's definitely the place to go!
