They were so great with my boys! Eddie had my four year old and gave him a cut to keep his curls. Adam had my two year old and was so wonderful with him, showing him the tools before using them and giving him a comb to play with. You can tell they have experience with children!! I’m so so happy with their cuts and the service. Such sweet dudes. Definitely will come back ❤️

My older son has been going to J’s for years and we have loves the staff, shop and haircuts! Today i took my 12 month old son there for his first haircut and it was such a great experience! Our little was nervous, started to get a Bit fussy and moved his head but J was able to work around him and gave him an awesome haircut! He was patient and thorough and was mindful to get some of the hair clippings for us to save and gave a little first hair cut certificate. It was quite adorable! Highly recommended- will definitely continue to take our little guy there!

I was recommended to this older looking barber shop that looks like a home if you're just passing by. Yo, this place, for being in the middle of nowhere DE on old capital trail(near prices corner) is a great place to get a fresh cut! Everyone seemed real laid back and chill. Also nice to see most seats were filled. So my man Adam was very accommodating, he had me in a seat within 30 sec and started to fresh up me up. I definitely recommend this place, and I will most definitely be back!

J and his team provide some of the best service I have ever experienced. Came across the shop by accident. I had to stop to make a phone call and pulled into the lot to make a phone call for work. J greeted me in the lot and asked if i needed any help. I apologized for being In the lot and said I would move. He reassured me it was no problem to stop and asked if I needed a hair cut. With a new baby at home I have found it difficult to make time to take care of my normal haircut routine. He was able to make an appointment for me that day. If you only read what is above this lone you will know of the quality of character of the business. As you read below you will see the quality of service The barber who attended to me ( I lost the paper where I wrote everyone’s name, so I’ll say Nick) provided me the best hair cut and cleanest beard trim I have ever had. He was kind, personable and quick. My wife always says my haircut looks good when I return form the barber. Her response today was WOW you look amazing, those guys really did a nice job especially your beard. So as long as these great people are providing this service I will continue to go there, and so should you

I went to J's for the first time yesterday and I must say I regret not finding this place before !I went here based on Google reviews and I am not disappointed at all ! Very friendly employees and great service ! Initially I was thinking of just haircut but Zach, who cut my hair, suggested he can trim beard too. Awesome guy ! He is expert in his job. He didn't rush and asked what I wanted . He did the service exactly the way I wanted. I saw another employee cutting a kid's hair and he kept the kid engaged through out . Price is very reasonable and wait time was less than 10 minutes. While paying the bill Zach told me I can come back just for beard trimming too which is great ! I am going to suggest this place to all my friends !

I am not one to really leave too many reviews, but J's Barber Shop warrants one. I was looking for a good barber shop to go to consistently, but was never really satisfied and kept going from one to another. Once I found Justin's shop, my search has finally ended. Short wait time, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Trust me, if you are looking for a new barber, go to J's and you will be there for good. Very impressed!

First cut was done by Zach and turned out exZACHly like I had asked but also was trial run for the new look. Was there today(10/19/19) And got bumped up to a chair since noticed I had almost no hair and knew it couldn't be alot, then I was given an apprentice barber and he did great job. The teaching is only small part of a trade, but jumping in and cutting the hair is how you get better. So I will of course be back!!

His professionalism and quality of cut in my opinion can't be found anywhere else. They always remember your name and how you like your haircut. I walked into J’s Barber Shop many years ago after bouncing from barber to barber due to inconsistencies. I was greeted by the owner Justin who recognized I was a new customer. While cutting my hair, he asked questions and was genuinely interested in getting to know me. After providing a great hair cut at a reasonable price I told him I would be back. When I returned, he remembered my name and exactly how he had cut my hair three weeks earlier. I knew then, that I had found a barber. The best thing about J’s is the consistency. The three current barbers, Justin, Joel and Zach all cut your hair the way you want it. They share information with one another and know exactly what to do with each customer. This is very important because when I show up, I can hop into any open chair and know I’ll get a great haircut. The barbers can cut hair in any manner, from traditional haircuts to modern trends. Above that, all three have great personalities and do their best to make the shop inviting. The shop itself is extremely clean and contemporary without losing the feel of a traditional barber. There are televisions, Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. It’s very kid friendly which is important because I now have children and bring them to J’s for their haircuts…… The customer base interacts with one another and when you’re in the shop it feels like hanging with friends rather than waiting for a haircut. I pass five barber shops on my way to J’s from my house. Never once do I think about sacrificing quality and atmosphere for proximity. If you want a great haircut with an overall awesome experience give J’s a try and you won’t be disappointed.

I moved from Pa to De, I know it’s not that far of a move, but I needed to find a new barber. And yes, even for men this can be stressful. My first pick was J’s Barbershop. I choose J’s because of their convenient location. What I got was a clean, friendly, fast paced (very short wait times), and modern establishment. I’ve had three cuts with three different barbers and have been completely satisfied with each one. I cut my own hair for close to 20 years because I was done paying for a service I wasn’t satisfied with so J’s is a refreshing break from doing it myself. My cut is textured length on top, for a messy look, with a bald fade all around.
