Being a new Delaware resident, I was searching for a new barbershop and came across Freakisky Awesome. This place is beyond a barbershop. It's truly an experience with good vibes from the minute you step foot inside. Shawn and Matthew are one of a kind, and I'm glad I found them. For women who may sometimes feel uncomfortable going to barbershops for a haircut, this is your new place. They take their time with each person that sits in their chair, and the conversations make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They listen and bring your haircut vision to life. The decor is beautiful, and every piece inside is intentional as well. If you're looking to walk out looking amazing with an extra boost of confidence in your haircut, then Shawn and Matthew are your guys, and Freakishly Awesome is your place.

Freakishly Awesome Barbershop is a place I got to not just get a dope hot towel shave but also to unwind and relax from the stresses of the week. This barbershop has a great atmosphere, good conversations, artsy decor and very convenient being located right in the heart of downtown Wilmington. It’s the whole experience for me. Oh also, Shaun has never been late to an appointment. I would definitely recommend this barbershop!!!

Freakishly Awesome is the cleanest, and most unique barbershop you’ll find in downtown Wilmington. Not only are they licensed, they’re very professional. Shaun and Matthew created an atmosphere for everyone to feel comfortable while receiving extraordinary customer service. Shaun is a excellent mentor, friend, and master barber! He’s always sharing his wisdom with anyone. He brought back the basics and fundamentals of barbering! Matthew is paving his way through his own lenses and I think that’s dope. Matthew works hard to build lasting relationships with his clients. He trusted the barbering process and is an example of “you can do anything when you put your mind to it.” I’m proud of him! The world needs more barber like these two.

I drive from from outside of Philadelphia to come get serviced by Matt. Over 45 minutes. This shop is more than a place to come get a haircut. The conversation is diverse, Shaun and Matt both have that creative touch which has impressed me since I first walked into their shop over a year ago. They provide a personalized experience that I have not received anywhere. Period. Let's get to the point. If you want that excellent treatment that you deserve, let these gentleman take care of you. Definitely worth the money!

BLOWN AWAY! I have been searching for the most flattering wording to describe how amazing this shop, and it's professionals have been and "blown away" is all I could come up with. Over a year ago, I was in search of a new shop. I gave the professionals at LFA a chance because of a last minute emergency and have no left since. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful, the professionals are just that PROFESSIONAL. I have never had to wait after my scheduled appointment time, usually being service well before then. I left a barbershop I was a client of for over half of my life to become what I could say is a family member at LFA. I've since recommended family and friends and their review and thoughts of the shop have been the same.

The shop is beautifully decorated, always clean, and fresh smelling. The music is good in this place as well, which is important, since I have to wait while my kid gets his hair cut. I was referred to Shaun by a friend. I usually have the worst luck with referrals. I gave him a shot and he slam dunked it!!! I’m so happy to now say I have an amazing barber. His massaging skills had me sleep in the chair! The scrub, the toner, the avocado mask, the steam... And more... Lawwwddddd!!! I could sleep in that chair for days!
