I’d always head wonderful things about Lee Barbershop from friends and neighbors. So I thought I’d swing in with my dad, who has Alzheimer’s, to see if he might sit for a shave and haircut. Sandy was so amazing and gentle with him. She used hot towels for his shave, and finished with a head massage. I was so touched seeing how much my dad enjoyed being pampered. We’ll be stopping in weekly. Not only did Dad come out looking like a million dollars, but he also cam out smiling and talking about what a great place it is. Thank you for your kindness Sandy!

I love affordable haircuts given that my hairdo is quite simple. This place allows you to reserve a spot online which is quite a convenience. The staff is very courteous and cordial. Sometimes it is hard to find parking but overall I love this place.

Dana is excellent at what she does! This shop has true barbershop prices. It's a real barbershop, not a hipster one with all the upcharges and other flair. Come here, get an excellent haircut, beard trim, etc, pay a reasonable price, then leave happy. Cash only, but they have an ATM inside that has a low $1.50 fee. I now have had several haircuts and beard trims which all have been excellent. I'll be coming here and recommending it as long as I keep getting a good cut. Update (July 2022): Still the best cut in Arlington. Dana cut my hair for my wedding and my hair was perfect! She and the other barbers are consistently good which for me is very important. I know what I'll be getting from this shop where others vary and depend on the barber. I tried a new place that was closer to us but my wife and myself liked the cut from Lee Barbershop better. I'll continue to go here for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend! Still $22 cash + tip.

Update: Thanks for reaching out and offering a free haircut. I don’t need a free haircut. You acknowledged the mistake and that is good enough for me and I guess it was an honest mistake from a barber so not a big deal. I am sure they provide good service most of the time but I had a complete opposite experience. I was rushed off in 10 mins without even getting a complete/correct haircut because that guy’s next appointment was here.

Had been shaving my head for over a decade prior to the pandemic and since we were working from home decided to try growing my hair out again. I've got hair that is....difficult to cut: sides grow straight out, multiple cowlicks, etc. and finding a barber/hairstylist that could successfully cut it was a challenge. After trying several different salons I gave Lee Barber Shop and Don a try and for the first time since I started growing my hair I was happy with the end result. If you have difficult hair and trouble finding someone who can tame it, see if Don is your man!

After having had an unexpected bad haircut from a black barber shop here in Arlington, I eventually came across Lee Barbershop and have been coming here ever since. The barbers (Vincent cut my hair today) here are all very good at cutting and fading my hair - and if that weren't enough, they also give your head a heated fragrant towel wipe and neck massage! How's that for an aboard board experience. Great place! I highly recommend them.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I’ve been using this place for the last 6 years. I recently moved away and every time I’m in town I make sure to stop in for a haircut. With every haircut you get a hot towel and small shoulder massage. I personally go to Sandy and Dana but anyone in there is amazing. Fantastic barbershop! I’m in the Army and have had my hair cut all over the world from Jordan to Saudi to Greece. After I moved to Arlington in 2018, I went to no less than 5 barbers. They didn’t take their time, didn’t use straight razors, and there was no head massage at the end. I found Lee Barbershop one day and have been going there since Jan 2018. I’ve had my hair cut by everyone that works there and it always turns out great. Dana cut my hair today, Don cut it last month, and Sandy is my regular barber. All’s amazing! Thank you!

It was out first time in this barbershop. We always had a terrible experience with kid barbers in different places. Yesterday when I asked my neighbor if she knows any kid hair cut places, she recommended this place. I decided to take my son but convincing myself not to have a big expectation because of our previous experience. But this time the barber made my day he listened and looked at the picture of how I want my son’s hair to look like and he did almost similar to what I wanted. He was professional and kind.The price is also reasonable. I’ll definitely be definitely take my son there again for his next haircut. There is only one cons they don't accept cards but they do have ATM inside the salon that is also very helpful for customers.

When I moved to Arlington a little over 4 years ago I had no idea where to go to get a haircut. A friend recommend this shop to me and I am forever grateful for that recommendation! I have gone consistently since then and usually walk-in and see whoever is available. For all the different barbers/hairdressers they have, they each do an awesome job and work with you to give you the haircut you desire. Through the years I've developed a great relationship with Don and I appreciate his attention to detail. Additionally, once COVID hit - they redesigned the interior to update it and to ensure customers feel comfortable and safe when getting a haircut. They even developed a new website where you can schedule appointments online! You can't beat the quality and price they provide. I came in today as a first time customer and I was absolutely blown away. Great value for a professional, high-quality cut, and truly outstanding service. I booked an appointment with Don and requested a cut that many other barbers had not done well before, and he did it with precision and expertise. He took heed to how I wanted it styled and it came out great in the end. Also had great conversation. They also had extensive Covid-19 protective measures, such as screens between every chair and continual mask-wearing from every barber and client. Will definitely come back again, and highly recommend it above other barbershops in the area. Very impressed.

I’ve been coming to Lee Barbershop ever since I was just a little kid. They’ve always had very friendly service, accommodate guests with drinks, give incredible haircuts, and to top it all off— they provide a nice hot towel and massage at the end of your cheap haircut. They’re great at providing children with distractions pre-cut, as well as making them at home with a lollipop of their choice. A haircut is something everyone should look forward to, and this is one of those places that will provide that experience. I’ll come back every time!

I discovered the Lee Highway Barbershop after having frequent terrible experiences and rush jobs at Hair Cuttery that made the convenience of those franchises no longer worth it. Unfortunately I am moving from the area after 5 years of being a customer here and I will miss this shop so much especially since I have to find a new barber in a new city. I always take first available, but my most recent haircut from Don was the best I've ever had. I always keep it simple and ask for a trim on top and a 2 on the sides and let them use their judgement for the top. Even if that length on top is always just a little different each time, I never have any issues because every barber does a fantastic job and I am always happy with how I look.

And my hair cut was Performed very professionally . Vincent (the Barber). Skillfully cut my hair while keeping my mask on. He very skillfully faded the sides into the top And also used a razor to clean the edges. He was very skillful And Attentive. And before I knew it the hair cut was done. The price was very fair. I have patronized this shop for 7 years. I was initially drawn in by the offer of a hot towel, scalp massage, and complimentary soda upon leaving in addition to attractive pricing and quality services. During the Covid induced closures, Dana remodeled the facility with new floors, fixtures, chairs, and lighting plus plastic shields. Unfortunately, the prices were increased to match and sodas are no longer offered. It now appears that credit card acceptance has been eliminated (is this temporary or permanent?) and this is a cash only business. Even with all these changes, I still consider Lee Highway Barbarshop my goto place for haircuts.

The shop was very clean and they are very good at disinfecting everything. There’s plexiglass dividers for added protection. Everyone is wearing PPE. I felt very confident in their Covid-19 precautions. Dana and Don have excellent customer service. They really know how to make clients feel comfortable and happy! My brother and my husband have been coming here for the last 2 years. I recently got my hair trimmed by Dana. She has great attention to detail and takes her time with every client. I have been patronizing this establishment for about six years. "Dana", the owner, and "Sandy" both do a very good job at cutting hair. They are the staples; the rest of the staff turns over. As they become more popular there sometimes is a wait. Of course you can return later, or use another stylist. The offset is that they do take appointments. The shop features a hot towel, scalp massage, and a bottle of water at no additional charge. The facility is clean and parking is adequate, although not plentiful, in front.

My Dad comes here. The prices look pretty good (low compared to New York) and they do pay attention to your requests regardless of oddity. It's like a neighborhood barber shop except well lit and they have 7 barber stations. It is located in a strip mall so parking can be awkward and it's sign is of a size that can be overlooked if you're alone or your navigator is looking for a giant sign. Still, Dad likes it so they're doing something right.
