Missouri is, without a doubt, a gem of a human being and an excellent barber, whose care for her customers is only matched by her skill in precision-style cutting. I have followed her to this store from another and would make an appointment on Mars if she moved there. She’s that talented and fun to talk to and LISTENS to what you want. The ladies at this store are welcoming, laid back, and have the coolest conversations with you while you’re getting your hair cut. The decorations/vibe are first rate and make me feel like I just stepped into a Blue Oyster Cult album art exhibit. Come here - you will NOT be disappointed.

My husband goes here for his beard trims and has had a wonderful experience every time; but I wanted to write a review solely to praise the lovely and wonderful Miss Ashley Fordham. My son has a number of sensory issues, so when we walked in today, his hair was 3 inches past his shoulders and uncombed. I gave her a brief explanation of his triggers and then sat back and waited to see how far we would get before I had to call it and leave. She was so kind and careful and attentive. She checked in with him so many times that he never had the chance to get in a weird headspace. She gave him a dozen opportunities to take breaks, de-itch, move around, and I cannot overstate what a huge difference it made.

Amazing hair cut and superb costumer service!!! I’ve been coming here, once every two weeks, for a little over 6 months (as of June 2018) and I thoroughly enjoy each visit. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Brittany, who is a badass. Brittany’s cuts are a 10/10 every single time. I’ve never receive a shave from her, but I have witnessed one. She’s Sweeney Todd caliber without murderous ending. Not to mention she’s hilarious and super down to earth. But so are all of the girls there! They’re all chill and have a good time! So costumers, in turn, have a good time too. It’s inevitable. If you’re looking for a great cut/shave/trim in a chill place, then I recommend you swing in by Lucky Devil’s.

Great spot to get a haircut. It feels like a tattoo shop environment with the cool art on the walls. I got a haircut from Carrie who is in training as an apprentice and she did a fantastic job! They offer a multitude of services for your barber needs. The owner brought her cat into the shop to hang out and it was really cool to see it hanging out with everybody. Definitely recommend getting your hair cut here, you'll more than likely have to book ahead due to popularity.

Lucky Devil is a great place to go for a wide variety of services. The staff is professional. The atmosphere is very unique in a cool and creative way. You can tell that the staff care about the work that they do and their customers. It a welcoming, relaxing, and fun place to go for your grooming needs. Sandy is the consummate professional with excellent skills in a wide variety of areas. She is a great listener and conversationalist. I always enjoy coming in for a haircut or a beard trim and never leave disappointed in either my cut or experience. I highly recommend Sandy and only wish I could give her more than 5 stars.

I mean, I dunno about you guys, but I don't expect people to treat me like a king. I was punctual to my appointment, welcomed and treated with kindness. I gave Beck a fair challenge and I am happy with what she accomplished and the time it took her. She appeared committed and knowledgeable. There was not a lot of conversation, but this is fine with me. I had a relaxing experience. I am not that familiar with haircut prices, but I thought it was fair (in relation to what I've heard) Oh, and they didn't force a tip on me, it is the good old screen switch and that is that. You decide the tip. The place has a grunge atmosphere, which I particularly like. More importantly, they seem to take the health-related recommendations seriously, which is a big plus for me. I will def be back. I must admit that the whole "man haircut by females" sounded a bit off, but nah, safe environment for an odd looking fella like myself, and I think I even got a glimpse of a non-binary sticker inside, so no complaints in that matter either. I'll update for my second sesh. Oh yeah, parking was small and full, but there is parking on the streets around it so no biggie. Honestly my hair was poop and Beck fixed it so I am a happy costumer.

It seems like a lot of the time you are just another appointment. Not here…. She took her time and also seemed very passionate about the business and her profession. I REFUSE to get my hair cut anywhere else. Legit the best shop I’ve ever stepped foot in. Such an awesome atmosphere. Bea always does my cuts, and she kills it EVERY SINGLE TIME! She’s a master of her craft and entertaining as hell. I’ve been going here for a little over a year, and I’ve never seen anyone leave with less than a great haircut. I love this shop and these girls. Bea Goodrich is always my go to. She fits me in even tho I always book last minute. I first found this shop because it was down the street from my house. I have moved since and still make the drive to go there. The atmosphere there is is super chill and the staff is always in a good mood like they enjoy their job(which is always refreshing). The low ratings I would take with a grain of salt. While I get that people have has less than stellar moments, it does not reflect the day to day here. I've been a client practically since day one and every experience that I've had with The Barbers who work there or if I have any issues, they will bend over backwards to help you and correct any situation, all you have to do is communicate. I have to applaud them for how well they did during the pandemic and trying to stay open by adhering to the rules while also taking on newer clients that they don't know and giving them the safest and best experience possible. Point blank, you cannot go wrong here. The haircuts pricing by comparison is so much better than any other place I've gone to and if your regular barber isn't available, any of these gals will do an amazing job. If you had a bad experience the first time, I have to urge you to try again. I have NEVER had a bad experience here and every time I am there, I'm treated more like a friend than a client, you cannot get that kind of service everywhere.

Since I've been working from home, for the past year, I've grown a beard and I have hair on top of my head for the first time in twenty plus years. Well, I went over there for a trim and was pleasantly surprised that all the "barbers" were female. I knew at least one was, Kira, who I made an appointment with that day. She has been a family friend and stylist for my wife and daughter for many years. The female barbers here have a unique perspective unlike male barbers. With COVID19 restrictions they can't do mustaches and masks ARE required but they work around them fairly easily, literally. I enjoyed my visit and will be back, Kira was great, showing me ways to keep my beard in fighting shape. Very clean and organized shop, the "barbers" were always keeping their areas cleaned up and sanitized. I can't say enough about this establishment, I feel lucky for finding them!

I have been coming here for 2years and i absolutely love coming here for my haircut. No matter which Barber i book with they always cut my hair how i want it and how i like it. The atmosphere isn't like a typical barbershop either. There is an almost new age feeling to this place that revives the art of a barbershop. I called to see if they were available for walk ins they said yes, it was around beginning of their shift 10:20AM got there 10 min later. the front desk reserved me a spot for a less than 10 min wait. Brownyn was my barber she did a great job. First time here and got a really nice skin fade. They are all very social, down to earth, and great barber ladies. They even ask you if everything is okay with how your haircut looks at the time, from time to time. Key points: They aren't joking about great looking skin fades, comfortable environment, and appointments are recommended, but call beforehand for walk-in service.

Last year, I was looking for a new Barbershop and started to do my research. Found Lucky Devil was close and that I drive by it all the time. I decided to give them a shot and made an appointment via their easy to use online scheduling system. To put it simply, my entire experience was AMAZING! Everyone that works there was super friendly and always had a smile on their faces (can even tell behind their masks). Their décor is unique and artistic with a hint of old school. Her haircuts alone are worth 5 stars but the fact that she actually has engaging and entertaining conversation throughout the entire cut definitley deserves that 5 stars. I wrote a review a few months ago when I first found Lucky Devil and this is a follow-up. As you can see, they are still a 5 Star Barber. I’d give them 6 if I could. My Barber, Kira, is great. She understands me, my style, and most of all, how to tame my hair. This isn’t an $8 haircut from the exchange, it’s a great experience where you’re treated like you’d expect from a professional staff who care about seeing every single one of their clients leave happy. They have online booking through Vagaro, so you can book when convenient for you. I can’t recommend them enough!!!!

Was glad to get a real barber cut after being deployed overseas for a year. All women barbers and they know how to straight razor. A little pricey ($35) but maybe it's because I'm used to paying $5.25 for a military cut 😂 They take walk-ins but it may be best to schedule it on their website which is pretty easy to do. My barber called me to confirm right after I booked it.

I had a fine haircut but got misgendered the entire appointment. The online booking makes you choose your gender and nonbinary is an option, so I was immediately comforted and felt safe assuming that Lucky Devil had an understanding of how to courteously interact with trans customers. Despite indicating my gender as nonbinary, I was referred to with she/her pronouns, called a girl, chick, and lady multiple times, and felt invisible. I completely understand if employees do not have knowledge of trans and nonbinary pronoun usage, etiquette, etc., but PLEASE do not make nonbinary gender selections available if employees have no knowledge of how to appropriately interact with trans and nonbinary customers. I understand that this is not an issue for most customers, but for those of us explicitly outing ourselves only to be painfully misgendered, it is a big deal. It would be deeply appreciated if the otherwise lovely staff could be educated about pronouns and trans etiquette!
