We scheduled appointments via the boosky app with Izzy. If you aren't booking with Booksy for appointments you're wasting your time waiting in line. Izzy cut my 11 year old and gave me a line up. The service was great, he was attentive and respectful toward my son in helping him get acclimated to grown men grooming. It was next level. Everyone in Tampa claims to have a great fade, but it's the experience with the barber and the culture of the shop that keeps customers coming back.

TLDR: Best shop in Tampa go to it! I’ve been looking for a barber for 9 months now and have finally found my shop in The Cut Barbershop. I saw the reviews people wrote and asked for James and he delivered like Tom Brady on game night… I am a US Marine vet and always did my best to keep my face as crispy as I could and James delivered the best fade I’ve had in years… everyone needs to check this shop out and trust 🙏🏾 It’s worth the wait!

My sister Dawn was there getting a fresh cut & shape up. The barber was super friendly & laid back. Good music playing, going back for mine next. Update: Feb 23, 2022 Finally got a chance to do me. I was a walk in customer today, mid day on a Wed. The fellas were super nice just like when I brought my sister in. Derek the barber that cut my hair asked me what I wanted, took his time & did his thing. My cut turned out really good & I was more than pleased with the outcome. As a caregiver we have a tendency to forget about ourselves & I looked the part, but after Derek got done with me I felt really good. I looked good & had zero complaints. The shop was Clean & neat with some nice nostalgic looking vibes going on. I felt relaxed, was very comfy & just had a good time getting out even if was just a haircut & beard cut. Thanks again Derek, you did an awesome job my guy. I look forward to seeing you again.

Took my grandson for a cut. They handled us with care. Perfect haircut and shape up. Only one flaw though afterwards that left him with razor bumps on his hair. I washed his hair and applied ointment onto nape of neck and sides. Other than that I was still pleased.

The atmosphere alone in this barber shop is awesome! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed as if you are family. All of the barbers are great at their craft but I specifically go to rob and he has me leaving the shop looking fresh...EVERY TIME! Excellent experience at this barbershop. I called ahead and was about 15 mins out, they said they would take me right away. Kevin cut my hair. He was very professional, courteous and knew what he was doing. Might have been the best haircut I ever got. The other staff was friendly and the place had a great vibe to it. Moved to Tampa about two years ago and tried multiple barbershops in the area but never found any great barbers, I came to The Cut about 7 months ago and haven’t looked back! I get my haircut with James. But I trust every barber their to give me a great haircut if he is unavailable. Every time I make an appointment the barber is ready, unlike most places where I would make an appointment and when I get there the barber says they have a few people ahead I definitely recommend anyone who hasn’t been to stop by and try them out! You will not be disappointed

Im new to town and think I've found my barber shop. When I walked in the door (in my Cowboys hat on) there was immediate laughter and jokes because 2 of the 5 barbers are NFC East fans. It was welcoming to talk football and laugh. All the guys look like they cut well and the shop is bright, clean, and even has items for sale including snacks and drinks. It's about a 10 mile drive for me passing other shops, but I think it's worth it.

By far the best barbershop in Tampa!!!! Even better now under the new owner James who is also my Barber. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Not only are all the barbers friendly but they can all cut hair which is not easy to find. Very hard working crew if their chair is open and the next appointment is late they will not just wait and let you sit there like most places, they will take care of you. There is never a dull day in that shop with the great/funny conversations and the good music.

It's filled with ONLY talented barbers!! (My main man is Rob -RTB but i have had cuts from James, Giddy and Izzy and I never had a bad cut, not ONCE) 3. Quality Service 4. Super friendly staff that makes you feel home 5. They always try to accommodate you even when they are super busy they never turn you away and always take care of you 6. It's more than a shop, it's a VIBE!! Now I am going to talk about my personal barber, Rob - RTB aka Da Real Deal Holyfield!!! I first tried Rob close to 6 years ago and since then I have never been to another barber. He is EXTREMELY Talented barber, who takes pride in his job and will ALWAYS make sure that you leave looking Fresh!! He is a Wizard with clippers and scissors!! Plus the shop also provides premium services on top of regular cuts and kids and women are welcome!! All in all, if you are looking for a barber or a barbershop or just tired of your current barber then i highly recommend this place and Rob!! I highly suggest that you call ahead and book an appointment because they always busy!! (That speaks volume about their Quality of work!!)

I moved here from Cleveland, Ohio about a year ago me and my brother now both go to this shop. I've been to several Barbershops in the Tampa & St. Pete area since moving here. This is by far the best Barbershop in this area hands down. James is my barber and is very personable he reminds me a lot of my barber I had back home for 10 years. Everyone who works in this shop is always having fun and very friendly too. The one thing I love best about this shop is all the barbers who work here can actually cut hair and will do an amazing job on your haircut. I’m on a trip to be one of my friend’s groomsmen for his wedding in Tampa, and I needed a haircut. So I found a random place with decent reviews, and Lord Jesus, this lady screwed up my hair. I called around several places, and Tony from the Cut Barbershop picked up the phone and told me to come on over. He squeezed me in his schedule and fixed up my screwed up hair in a quick, professional manner. I appreciate him and the rest of the team for the hospitality, professionalism, and a friendly environment of the barbershop. It’s got good vibes and Tony got some fire in the hair game. 10/10 I’d definitely recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Izzy and the shop. Finding a new barber is never cool, freaking never, but Izzy made that process a one and done easy decision. My 17yr old son, which has been just as particular as me in the past, now waits to come from Plant City for Izzy as well. The rest of the barbers set a vibe in the shop too, like you expect from a Barber Shop, but one that you don't always find. I highly recommend this shop, highly, and Izzy will show you what time it is with your cut and make you feel like you'll never be let down. it's the best Barber Shop I've been to in over 20 years, with no exaggeration in the least.

First time visiting The Cut and I couldn't be happier with the cut. Chico hooked me up when I had an event to go to later that night. Not only did he take his time, but he made sure that the fade blended with the top, which I didn't want too much off. The line up was crisp and the added razor made the design pop. If you go ask, go for Chico. Warm friendly atmosphere, and to top it off, they were giving out gifts to the kids for the holiday. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my three year old son for over a year now. When my son first started getting his haircuts my son would always cry. James, the barber, was patient with him offering him a lollipop and even waiting until he finally calmed down. Now my son walks in gives him a high five and ask for his ritual lollipop. I started getting cut by James about 3 years ago and I have never gone any where else since. They make you feel at home and welcomed when you step in there. One time I got there just as they were locking the shop up and Russ literally opened the doors back up and cut my hair, he wasn't even my barber and he dint have to but he still cut my hair. That showed a lot in his character and his profession. I never got to really say how much that meant to me so thanks Russ, giddy, big boi, and James for always showing me love when I stop by.

If you want the cleanest cut and only deal with professionals I would definitely suggest you come to "The Cut Barbershop". All of the barbers take pride in what they do and are all very friendly as soon as you walk in the door. I went to another barber somewhere else and you know the saying, "If it ain't broke done fix it". That was my mistake on my part. I have not went anywhere else since. All the barbers a second to none! I suggest you make an appointment though bc they are always busy :).
