I’ve only ever gotten haircuts from places like Great Clips in the past, and was feeling a little nervous about trying something new. Making an appointment was quick and painless, and the atmosphere was amazing! Honestly, cost was very similar to something like Great Clips, but with a hot towel, and hair wash included. (All optional, of course!) Maile did an phenomenal job, and I’ll be sure to make this my go to.

I don’t usually leave reviews but after having mediocre haircuts for about a year straight, I had to leave a 5 star for Haley K. She’s about the only barber I trust at this point.

Guys, it might be tempting to run through a Great Clips to save a couple bucks, but please do yourself a favor and go here instead. It might cost a couple bucks more, but not looking like a lopsided thumb is worth the money. My favorite part of the man salon is the online booking. I can jump on their website and pick a time that works for me. I know when I'm getting in and out and not playing the lobby game. (Plus, MS has big comfy leather chairs to relax in before your appointment.) You can also use the website to see which stylists are available and go back and visit their profile to see if they specialize in the cut you are looking for. Be warned, though. If you are looking for a beard trim or nostril wax, not every stylist was created equal. Some are trained in that specialty, and some are not. Worth giving a call if you aren't sure who to book. Each booth has its own TV that you can change the channel on, which is nice if you don't want to chat. I usually try and book with Shelby, as she had always nailed my haircut and, most recently, a beard trim. (Don't skip the hot towel during the hair washing, either.) They provide a quick shoulder massage, which I do skip as I think it's a little awkward, but no one has ever made it weird. It just seems a little out of place with a haircut for me. It's hard out there, so looking your best is the easiest part thanks to the talented staff at MS. Don't forget to tip!

Friendly and good customer service. I had to wait 10 minutes even though I had an appointment. Looked good in the chair but after I left I found that my hair was to long and in my eyes. I will have to get it cut again. Grrr.

Awesome place. Just went for a haircut and was offered hot towel, shampoo/rinse after the cut which I usually do when I get home. Don't like the loose hair. And a shoulder massage. Very reasonable. Samantha did an awesome job on my hair.

I go here every 2-3 weeks and get great service consistently. I don't usually schedule an appointment and I always get in quickly. The girls here make great conversation and do quality work. If there is something you want touched up on your haircut they do it happily. I have yet to have a bad experience here in the last two years that I've gone. Very relaxing environment. Generally, a friendly atmosphere and good hair stylists. More specifically, Samantha is a great stylist. Willing to work with you and find the hair style that you want and looks good too, if you are willing to let her use her skills. My hair was too short to get the style I wanted so she is helping me get to where I want.

Excellent value and service! Only a few bucks more than a haircut at a "discount" place, but you get so much more. Sure, you get the haircut, and that is great, but after the hair cut you get a hot towel on your face as they shampoo/condition your hair along with a scalp massage. After that, they finish up with a shoulder massage. I had my beard trimmed for only like $5 and they did better than I can do myself. Highly recommend and I don't think I'll be going back to my regular old haircut.

This was my 10 year olds second time coming to The Man Salon and both experiences were awesome. He isn’t one for haircuts and Calli made this experience a great one. She took time with him, made him feel comfortable and reassured him that he was doing great while he sat in her chair. If your child is nervous, has a fear of getting haircuts or is in The Spectrum, Calli will definitely make them feel at ease.

I lived in Sioux Falls for 2 years, going from one barber shop to the next trying to find some place that cut my hair even semi well. I actually avoided the Man Salon because I figured it was too upscale for me. I finally decided to try it out after seeing their ad over and over at the local Stampede games and I've never been happier with my haircuts than I am now. It's the only place I'll go now and I tell everyone to try them out. Don't waste your money trying out other places, just go here and be happy you did.

I actually try my best to get all my haircuts here. Safe price as lower end barbers but you get so much more . You get free shampoo and free massage with each haircut. Staff are amazing and super friendly!

I have been going to The Man Salon since we moved to town in the spring. I have yet to get a bad cut. I was going every 4 weeks until winter can but plan to go every 8 weeks. Bridget is very nice and my hair is always cut perfectly. My son told me about the Salon and he was right. Great place, good people.

On the whole, this place is great. Not the cheapest in town but I feel you get a good deal for your money, especially if you’re a dingus who just says “shorter” when they ask you how you want your hair cut. They’ll work with you to find a good haircut.

It's similar to a cost cutters, I've had a descent hair cut and a bad one. Be sure you know how to talk about the hair style you want (as well as the clipper sizes), don't leave it up to them. Bring a picture and if you have an appointment, be there a little early to have time to eat peanuts. Otherwise, you'll be sol.
