They got me in very quickly on a Friday afternoon. Less than an hour for a walk in. I believe his name was Xavier, at the front desk, he was very through with check in and letting me know how they did things around there and the wait process. Pt was my barber and he did an amazing job. Very good conversation and listened very well to what I wanted done. Left cleaned up and looking very good. If I was local this would be my go to barber. Kudos guys you have a very nice shop.

I was in town for the afternoon, looked out of my hotel room and saw 6Thrones across the street. I dropped in and after a short wait, Ryan fit me in between clients. I was not disappointed. The cut and fade was just what I was hoping for, and the real barber experience was awesome. I felt really good hanging with the guys and getting comfortable in my new favorite barber shop. I’ll be back on future visits to this great little city.

I’m not one to leave reviews very often but I had to. I’m working in Rapid City from out of state and needed a cut. Found this barbershop and decided to go in. First the vibe was awesome, everyone was extremely friendly and made you feel welcomed. Second I had an idea of the cut I wanted going in but wasn’t sold. PT cut my hair and made my vision come to life! Also gotta give a shout out to Chop and Dylan for helping out. I would recommend this spot to anyone I met. Overall just a bunch of good dudes putting out good vibes and cuts!

I really feel like all the staff loves the art and are dedicated to their craft. The staff remembers their clients and makes them feel part of the 6thThrone culture. The store line of hair products are also very high quality, smell amazing, and are competitively priced with other premium men's hair products. I can always count on a great haircut from 6throne. They use the buzzers with car, scissors with precision and do it with a friendly smile. There’s always something to talk about at the barbershop in Rapid City. It’s centrally located downtown, with plenty of metered parking. Beverages are available inside, and reading material if you need to wait. Advanced reservations are recommended, as well as commenting on how nice Dom’s new shoes are.

I have been a regular at 6Throne Barbershop for the last year or so and I have never been disappointed with the group of barbers, the atmosphere, or my cut. Easily the best barber services in the black hills and maybe even the state of South Dakota. They have beer available for their guests, they play great music, and they truly enjoy what they do. I usually get my hair cut by Ryan Sherman, and he has always done a fantastic job. I would recommend 6Throne Barbershop to anyone, and I would give them 6 stars if that was possible.

I had seen pictures of 6throne and wanted to check it out with my 9 year old son. We were able to snag a walk-in appointment with Dom and my son got the best haircut of his life. We typically go to any strip mall salon for his cuts, this was not even close to the same. All the guys are super talented, as well as kind and welcoming, and the vibes are second to none. Everybody in 6throne is amazing. As soon as you walk in you are met with an upbeat well paced atmosphere. It can change a drowsy day to a great one just by one of the barbers cracking a joke. 1000/10 would recommend this spot. Emilee is extremely talented at braiding and was very sweet! There was zero discomfort during braiding & no pain or tightness afterward. I am so obsessed, she exceeded all my expectations. I can't wait to go back! My husband has been going to the owner Dom @ Black Hills Barbershop for a couple years now and gets the best fades of his entire life & it's so cool that I get to go now too! Easily the most enjoyable and best looking hair cut I have ever received. I had the pleasure of Paige cutting my hair. Not only was she thoughtful in what I wanted, flexible in scheduling, and conversational; but she is also a talented barber. The entire experience was great. I was skeptical on my first visit but when I arrived Angel the female barber made me feel right at home she offered me a beverage while I waited and took the extra time during my haircut to ask my preference and double checked her own work as she went. When I was finished I felt like the haircut I was given wasn't generic but tapered and well suited for myself. I can definitely say I left there with more confidence in my image and will be definitely be making my way back there next time I am due!!

After my current barber moved to FL I began a long journey of finding a new barber to deal with this head. After going to a couple of places only to get stood up and other places not returning texts sent. I reached out to Dom (whom I have known since his childhood) and I was able to get in the very next day. Just the atmosphere alone is awesome. When a person walked in they were greeted and when they left they were acknowledged. So after going without a cut for nearly 60 days Carlos had me looking right and motivated to face the world. What a great barbershop in downtown Rapid City. My 18 year old son just raves about this place. They offered me a beer when I sat down. The place is just cool top to bottom. Excellent haircuts and excellent atmosphere. I saw some visitors from Wyoming enjoying their cuts and well as some locals. You’re missing out if you don’t stop here for your haircut. I’d recommend making an appointment because the walk-ins were steady.

Best Barber Shop in the state of SD! Once you come here, you won’t be going anywhere else. Got my second haircut from Jake (Man with the Stache) and it’s been by far the best cut I’ve had in Rapid. He’s extremely charismatic and will make you look your very best. The environment, conversation and the barbers are great! They’re professional and can really make you look clean. I moved to Rapid in June & was looking for a barber & came across 6 Throne. I’ve known Dylan for awhile & saw that he works there & figured I’d give him a shot. He came through with the fade & especially killed the beard trim/shape. I had a wedding yesterday & booked an appt for the day before & he nailed the haircut. Something happened where I didnt get booked for a beard trim also, so he went out of his way to get me in before they opened Saturday to get me looking right. The vibe is 10/10 as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone is welcoming & you can be yourself there. Its a legit barber shop & I wont ever go anywhere else as 6 Throne is in business.

Paid for The Works: Haircut, Beard Trim, Hot Towel Shave and/or line up and shampoo. Recieved a decent haircut minus the very off height sideburns i unfortunately didn't notice until driving home. Recieved a quick beard and stache trim/shaping that could have been a little more thorough, but was functional. No hot towel was used for line up or shave, no straight razor. The "shave" was an electric razor on my cheeks and jaw line, missed my entire neck area. There was no shampooing even mentioned. Service was billed as an hour long evolution but i was in and out in 25min roughly. The shop itself was clean and had great atmosphere. My barber was genuinely enjoyable to interact with. UPDATE*** Shop called me and apologized for the services rendered then issued a full refund. Not many businesses have the morals and spine to do this nowadays. Being honest and humble deserves another chance. I will be back for sure in the future.
