To my new barber Mr. Chris Mejia a huge shout out! Went in with a mop, not knowing what it was exactly I wanted but Chris took his time and my hair could not look or feel better! Great barber shop. It was my first experience and it was truly remarkable thank all the staff for their friendliness.

Greeted the second we walked in, the owner greeted us right away. He spent the time to have a genuine conversation and allowed us to get beard trims! These guys know their stuff. I've been to quite a few barbershops the last couple of years and could never find on I loved going to I booked an appointment with Chris and I've never had a more enjoyable haircut. I even bring my son here with me now to get his hair cut too. Chris does a great job and I never have to worry about how my hair is going to look. The shop looks amazing and is always very clean, it's obvious everyone here loves what they do. I would recommend SLBC to anybody looking for a great barbershop.

I visit Salt Lake regularly for work and decided to find a local barber. Highly recommend SLBC, great ambiance and highly skilled staff. Juice cut my hair and did a great job. I’ll definitely come back and see him next time I’m in town.

The service I got was professional and the cut was clean, but it was not my style and looks very little like the picture I gave my barber. It’s hard to complain after I told him to “do what he thinks would look good” but I honestly have no clue who would think this looks good. It was so bad my own mother told me it was awful. Maybe i’ll come back in a while after my bathroom buzz cut grows out. Probably the most expensive buzz cut i’ll ever get.

Great barbershop.! This is my second visit. My first was with Josh Max and my second with Jesse Morgan, both for beard trims. I was super happy with both trims. I will always schedule an appointment here in the future when I come to the SLC area. Their waiting area is also very comfortable and they have great beard products and hats and shirts also. They only thing that could make this place better is maybe a kegerator for a cold brew while you wait!👍

The price is reasonable and they are knowledgeable about the styles. They also take COVID situation seriously with social distancing, temperature checks and required face masks. Their online scheduling makes it easier to set up an appointment. I highly recommend them!

Best haircut I've ever had. The staff here are true professionals and appreciate the art and craft of barbering. Shop is immaculate (coming from someone who works in medicine) and has an inviting atmosphere. I cannot recommend Isaac more highly. His cuts are consistent and the cleanest I've ever experienced (no scratchy neck ever). He is likewise an excellent conversationalist and knowledgeable about all aspects of barbering - it was fascinating to learn some history from him. Best shop in SLC, hands down.

As I have moved to a new city, I find myself missing it more and more in my search for a new spot. Cannot recommend Zac Hillard enough. I'd never once been made to wait, my cuts were always exactly as I requested, quick, and everyone was always so friendly and helpful. So tough finding somewhere like Salt Lake Barber Company where I'm now living.

I am really picky about my hair. I saw this barbershop 💈 when I was driving one day. I made an appointment for a haircut & shave. I had Kyle perform my services. He is a magician. I don’t think my hair has ever looked so great. My shave was also awesome. It’s nice once in a while to treat yourself. I am also happy that Kyle is young so he can do his magic for many years to come. The place also has an old time vibe to it. They did a great job in the design of the place. Thank you Kyle.

This is a true barber shop. They don't do women's hair. They do haircuts and beard trims. They still use a straight razor to clean the back of your neck. You get a hot towel and a tonic to help with any possible razor burn. Yes, it costs more than dropping into a standard salon, but I think it's worth it.

This is by far the best shop in town. The new space is stylish, clean, and the barbers are the best in the biz. Gillian is my go-to barber and I can't recommend her enough. She's patient, detailed, and very knowledgeable about her craft. The barbers here aren't afraid to guide you if you're not sure what you want right away. They'll always do what's in the best interest of the customer and deliver fantastic results. Plus, their prices are great!

He suggested a pomade product for my son’s hair that has been awesome - and smells incredible, by the way. Anyway, the guys were welcoming and the place is pristine. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Issac has been cutting my year for a couple of years and he does an awesome job! He's attentive to my requests and asks, while making helpful recommendations when I'm not sure what I want. His new shop is a fantastic space. He and his business partner, Eric have really paid attention to every detail. They offer complimentary coffee and every hot towel wrap with every cut. They just have a customer first approach that comes through in their work. If you're looking for a new barber, I definitely recommend you check them out.

Walk-ins are welcome but expect to wait for over 30mins to an hour as they are usually fully booked all day. It's best to just make an appointment and show up on time.

When I move, I always have a hard time finding a good place to get my haircut. But this place made it pretty easy for me. They all do a great job and truly take their time to work on your haircut style. They do take walk in but I'll recommend to set up an appointment. They always take priority on those.

I was expecting half the cost of the haircut. I was informed it would be full price! I NEVER cancelled a scheduled appointment in the past. I was not a first time customer. I even gave a good review of the shop and an employee. I will not be returning! I would give 3.5 stars now if I could. PREVIOUS POST This shop has a great feel. Friendly & professional. With the TMNT arcade game in the corner and comfy couch this is a place that you just want to hangout even if you're not getting a hair cut. The best thing to say about Salt Lake Barber Co. is that they have put together the dream team of Salt Lake barbers. I have been cycling through the different barbers and haven’t had a poor beard trim or shave yet. I appreciate the cup of local coffee they offer while waiting. If you are looking for a quality barber shop in SLC without the “downtown” price or arrogance, this is it. I’m sure you will become a regular like I have.

Cool vibe with top-notch barbers that know how to trim a beard. This place has the feel of an old-time barbershop but without the old time barbers (no offense to the Rays, Floyds, and Berts of the world). It’s not one of those salons that make you feel like you’re just another buzz on an assembly line. They don’t rush you through, but rather take the time to do a job that will ensure you come again. Personally, I’d recommend the haircut and beard trim with Josh Max—the cost is slightly higher, but this man knows his beards. I have other friends who swear by some of the other barbers at The Salt Lake Barber Company though, so you really can’t go wrong.

I went in today because I was in a bad place mentally and needed to get out of the house. My hair was growing in a way that I was beginning to look like Sid from Toy Story, so I decided to remedy that. I was worried about them being too booked for a walk-in with it being Pride weekend and everything, but I was set up with Zac within 5 minutes. I almost cried. Zac did such an AMAZING job. I told him that I wanted to tighten up the sides and just even out the top so that I could continue growing it out. He did everything I wanted and more with that minimal direction. The fade between the longish top and the short sides is SEAMLESS!!! And my edges at my neck, ears, and sideburns are so sharp and clean! I've never had such a clean cut in my life! The coolest thing is that he did this all freehand! Zac ended the cut with a neck shave. I have never had a shave with a hot towel and straight razor before and it was exactly what I needed to get me into a more stable mental place, as silly as it seems. I would 100% come here again without hesitation. All of their barbers have such a good energy about them and they're all greatly talented. Zac was so chill and kind when I visited and I cant thank him enough for his service today. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service Zac and Salt Lake Barber Co.!!!
