Had a good first experience, but since I've only been once I don't want to pull out the 5 stars yet. I was scheduled with Carlos and he was great- not only a hair cut but helped me with my beard, too. I'll definitely go back, but not at peak Thayer Street busy time... parking can be tough.

I came here because it was so highly recommended. I walked in and asked if I could get my undercut cleaned up, and was treated no differently for being female-bodied (an issue in some barbershops)-- Troy did a fantastic job and was so kind and genuine! He is also a visual artist and his attention to detail shows :) The barbershop is on the second floor and there are big windows so the space has nice light and a cheery atmosphere. Everybody seemed pretty laid back, my haircut was efficient but not rushed. To top it all off the price is such a great deal. So glad I stopped by.

TL;DR: A $16 barbershop that feels like a $60 barbershop. I've gotten my hair cut here several times, each with a different barber. I highly recommend asking for a barber that's used to working with your hair type and preferred style. They're all very willing to listen to your preferences, but make sure you tell them early, to avoid ending up with something shorter than you expected. Overall, the guys I've met are all very receptive, fun, and all give clean, careful cuts without rushing. The location is beautiful, and really outclasses the other shops around.

AWESOME barbers! Gotten cuts from3 diff barbers and all did a fantastic job. If you want the most amazing skin fade ask for jazz :) All the barbers are talented and really care that you are satisfied with your cut. Try to make an appointment cause it can get mad busy on weekends.

Troy has a great place, I always make my appointments with him, though I have had some of the other guys in the past cut my hair too, and I've never been disappointed. Convenient location, relaxed vibe and comfortable couches, I won't be going anywhere else.

This is the top barbershop in Rhode Island! All the barbers are quite talented, I walk in a boy and always leave as a sharp looking man. In addition the ambiance is second to none. Play billiards, chess, or just relax and watch some tv while you wait. They even offer you a bottle of water, talk about first class service!!

I never write reviews but my experience was so good I had to. Service was great. I had Tremaine cut my hair and he didn't rush or anything. Super dope haircut and he was the man. Good price too. No complaints, definitely coming back and would recommend

This barber shop is located at the corner of Thayer St. And Waterman Ave. On top of Santander Bank. Awesome shop. Nice sitting area while you wait with couches. You can also play pool if you like while you wait. The barbers all do a great job, you won't be disappointed. Only place in the immediate area that has a female barber. Check it out, cuts are very reasonable for location. As I said, you won't be disappointed.

Went in there today for the first time after having the same barber for 8 years. I am so impressed. Tremaine was such a great dude who really cared about making sure your hair was exactly as you wanted it, checking in frequently. Pool table, HDTVs, drinks, chess, free wi-fi -- I can't recommend this place more. Ask for Tremaine!!

Met the owner on the shop on Thayer st about 2 year back around the same time I was looking for a new barber. I am never disappointed with the job they do, the atmosphere is great and conversations are always interesting.

Comfy couches, a pool table, and multiple TV's showing ESPN. If heaven is a barbershop, this is it. Ask for Tremaine - really nice guy who takes pride in his work and know's how to cut any hair style, even a thick straight Asian mop like mine. Cuts are only $16 if you're a student so this is place is a no-brainer over Supercuts.
