Walking into this barber shop very nervous as it was my first time here. I was greeted instantly with a friendly "hello! How can we help you?" Followed by a handshake. I had an appointment with Wes, and after I told them, I was warmly greeted by wes asking me how I was doing and he was happy to see me. Usually a barber talks to you because it's their job but instead this was a more friendly and professional experience because it was obvious they care. I told them how I wanted my hair cut and they did it exactly how I wanted With amazing service 🙂. Very professional and clean experience! I recommend them to any and all. Highly recommend Wes does an incredible job and paid high attention to detail! 10/10 will go again

This place was an awesome experience. Richard was not only professional, but very easy to talk with while he was cutting my hair. He took his time and the end result exceeded my expectations. The environment these guys have created is laid back and inviting. I felt like I was one of the guys even with it being my first time there. I would highly recommend them, even if you have to drive 30+ minutes to get there like I did.

This place was a gem to find. The absolute definition of clean and friendly environment. As I sat down to wait the staff was cutting the hair of a young boy and I was under the impression they knew the boy personally ( they did not). This is the type of atmosphere they create, a friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome. They joked, laughed and ultimately knew how to cut and make my hair and beard look great. Will be regularly returning. Phenomenal pricing to boot.

Took the nephews for haircuts. This is a very nice barber shop. They have a few different arcade games you can play for FREE while you wait. Reasonably priced an staff are very friendly. Definitely would recommend to others

Awesome looking place and it was cool to see a classic pinball machine. The people were nice, but my 8 year old's hair cut is a hot mess of uneven lines on the front and top. Pretty sure we won't be back.:(

I've been shaving my own head for about 15 years. This was my first ever barber shop experience and it definitely will not be my last! Mike was great and his attention to detail was top notch. Yes yes yes and again yes!!! I've been combing for my hair guy and found a village!! Not many people know how cut my mixed blood hair I've found. I've had some horrific experiences in Maine even had some on say no word of a lie "I don't cut black hair it's to complicated." My guy no fear styled me and I couldn't roll the windows up on the car ride home. the sun felt amazing on my head couldn't help it!! About 8 months of fur tamed in less than 30 mins. The shop is amazing there's games the hanging pics were awesome Marceline would approve 🧛‍♀️. Definitely going back on my 2 weeks.

Thank god I live here, because I'm never going to another shop. To walk into a shop, where they remember your name and what you want, from you stopping in (after they were closed) 5 days prior, says a bit. The atmosphere, the guys everything. I've traveled the country the last 3 years, and have been to more shops than you can count, and these guys blow them out of the water. Good old school feel. Rick cuts a pretty sick mullet too 🤘

This is by far the best barber shop in the mid coast area that I've experienced. I always recommend going here even if you need to have a fun day trip to Augusta. They are friendly and cut hair beautifully. Hair cutting is an art and they know exactly what they are doing.

I'm not talking to the guys that are happy with a master cut fade. If you take pride in the way you look and want to go to an og barbershop this is the place for you. I used to drive 90 mins to Portland to get my hair cut until I found these guys. Every single one of these gentlemen are top shelf. Marino is my barber and he is an artist. I could not say enough nice things about Marino and the water street barber company.

Best place in town to get anything you want. The guys in the shop were very nice and always asked exactly what I wanted done and also gave me plenty of options before doing anything to my hair. After telling them the exact cut I wanted they went to quick and thorough work cutting my hair. Hard to find a decent barber that can cut African American hair. I was extremely happy to find this place. My barber was a cool guy, and gave me a very nice cut. And icing on the cake was the free complimentary beer!

Ok, so first of all... great group of employees.. i cant stress enough how welcomed me and my little guy felt.. great work on the cuts i used to travel to scarborough for a GOOD cut... now im going to Augusta.. and although still 45 minutes away. Its worth it, and even if you didnt make an appointments they will try their best to fit you in maybe a few hour wait but worth it, They do have a scheduled list. Awesome work guys.. keep it up and the customer service by far is top notch.
