I Highly recommend you book your next haircut at Next Level Barber Co. The atmosphere is amazing and the hair cuts are even better . The price for the quality is unrivaled in my humble opinion. Greg and Joe do a phenomenal job meeting whatever hair needs you have. Greg even managed to make my hairline come back!!!. To be completely honest 5 stars isn't enough. They deserve 10 stars!

It’s a great place to go for barber services. Greg (The owner) is an awesome barber. I have been his customer for almost 4 years. He is very good with his service, friendliness and timing. Best haircut and beard trim I’ve gotten - hands down. Went here for my wedding cut and both Joe and Greg went out of their way to pay extra close attention to every detail and ensure every hair was perfect. They even lent me a trimmer to use before my wedding. Great guys, great cut, and fun banter every time I’m in there. What more could you want out of your barber. I’ve been in just about every barbershop in the southern Maine area over the years. I have to say this is my favorite layout of all the shops I have seen, it’s very clean and has an open feel to it. Joe also did an amazing job on my haircut I’ve been told in the past by every barber that I have very difficult hair to cut. I left with the best skin fade and I’m super satisfied with my experience and would recommend everyone to check this place out!

Walking in to Next Level is like an oasis in the Old Port. The shop is clean, relaxing, and top of the line. You can tell a great deal of thought and craftsmanship was put in to designing and renovating the space. Greg was nice enough to put a wildlife show on for my 13yo while he got lined up after me. I would follow Greg to any shop he was cutting at but coming to a place this nice makes it an experience I really look forward to.

Greg has been cutting my hair since 2015, he is the first and only barber that I have seen regularly... Thinking of it now, he is the only person who I've allowed to cut my hair in the past 7 years. I have followed him from chair to chair as he has perfected his craft all over southern Maine. I was so pleased to hear that he was planning on opening his own barber shop. I had my first appointment with him this evening in his new spot. Awesome location right off monument square. Parking was easy enough to find with side streets all around. Showed up a little early and enjoyed a seat in the waiting area, he had everyone's favorite - Bob Ross - painting friendly trees on the massive flat screen, soft music, scented candles, and an over all relaxing and inviting atmosphere. My appointment started right on time as always, done within the hour, and every single time I sit in that chair I swear this man gives me a better hair cut than the last. I could not be more pleased by the service I received at Next Level Barber Co. and I could not be more proud of my good friend Greg. He's always provided an incredible haircut and usually there is a pretty good movie on the tv as well. His shop is all cash but don't worry, there is an ATM in the store. (For demographic purposes I'm white male with thin but dense super straight hair)

Greg is one of the best out there! So much so I am willing to drive 35-45 minutes, passing numerous shops a long the way. Nothing against those shops/barbers as I’m sure there are some goods ones…but Greg has always exceeded expectations, in communication and services he provides. It’s no shock to me that he finally opened his own place, and will no doubt continue to set the! I’m just pumped he’s still in southern Maine, and I don’t have to drive to Bangor or NH lol.

I have been going to Greg now for over 6 years and would never think to go anywhere else. My hair is always on point when I leave here. The new shop is perfect. I also brought my one and a half year old to Greg for his first haircut this week. I thought it was going to be torture. Greg made my son so comfortable and we got through the haircut no problem.
