Every time I travel back to Portland, ME one of my first stops is The Blind Pig Barber. Making a appointment online is WICKED easy. This go around I had Celenia as my barber. Right off the bat I told her what I usually get done - after some recommendations from her, I went with it. While sipping my COMPLIMENTARY bourbon and great conversation I saw what was happening right before my eyes - the greatest haircut I have ever received. Prior my favorite haircut in my life was in a tiny back alley somewhere in Barcelona, Spain. That was now a distant memory of the past. THIS was single-handedly the greatest cut I’ve ever received. My girlfriend - waiting on the bear by couches couldn’t believe her eyes. Thank you to everyone at The Blind Pig barber!

My experience this morning was sublime. I have never had a facial before, as most places I've found that cut beards as large as mine neglect to offer the service. It's a shame, because I would get groomed more often if more people were willing to put mud on my face afterwards. The experience provided by Kasey was more than worth the trip, and I'll definitely be back.

I’ve been getting my hair cut at the Bling Pig Barber Co. for over a year now. I go 3-4 times a month because my hair grows back very quick, so their unlimited haircut membership for $60 is a life-saver. As someone that gets haircuts very often, this place has been one of my favorite barber shops ever. Expensive? Sure, but worth every penny. Massage chairs, alcoholic (and non alcoholic!) drinks before your haircut, the coolest vibes (speakeasy ambiance, or is it just me?), the ability to reserve online, and simply the best staff all around. What else could you ask for? I’ve had my hair cut by Ashley, Kaitlyn, Justin, and Celenia and I have nothing but amazing things to say about each of them. They’re all professionals and know what they’re doing. From the moment I walk in, I already feel relaxed. I can’t think of a better place in town to get my haircuts.

Great place to get a haircut. Stumbled in here looking for a hair cut as they were the only place place open on Sunday and was not disappointed. Most places take to much off but here the barber listened and got it exactly the way I like it.

I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by this barber shop. My usual spot was all booked, and I needed my haircut soon. I found this place on Google, and made an appointment online. The website made this super easy, and it was nice to get a reservation on such short notice. At the barber shop they have free drink service, as well as couches and a massage chair while you wait. The staff was very friendly, and they did a great job with the haircut as well. I enjoyed this venue more than my previous barber, so I think this will be my new place!

Got a haircut here back in 2020 and was very impressed by the experience. You are treated like a gentleman, given a complementary beverage and find yourself in a very friendly, non-rushed experience. Definitely more expensive than a regular barbershop. Location and upper class feel of the establishment play into that. Absolutely worth it, if you can afford it.

Friendly staff and if they’re booked solid just add your name to a wait list. I did it and there was a cancellation the next day. Complimentary beverage and a great hair cut in a very cool atmosphere. Not your typical shop.

Got their a little earlier from my appointment time, they were able to get me right in the chair to start my appointment. Offered me a drink, which I totally took advantage of a delicious markers mark and ginger. Got seated with Elliot, he was very professional and easy to talk with. We talked about how he was their for 5 years and how things went during the pandemic(blind pig was awesome to their employees by helping them out through the tough times) we chatting about family, pets, life and how business has been for them. He asked how I got my hair done before and I told him I normally have a professional do what they do best, he didn't disappoint! I will definitely be back to see Elliot in the future! Pricing was extremely fair for being in downtown Portland especially with a nice stiff drink to go with the whole experience!

ASHLEY. One perfect word for the best experience. I have had her before when I had long hair, now short, and she is a Phenom. I got the manicure, beard trim, hair cut and eyebrow wax, not even $100 and she makes it seem like the best afternoon on a day off. 11 out of 10 for sure.

Bling pig is just an overall great place. Cuts are reasonably priced and they even include a drink if you want one. Justin knows exactly how to make the cut look great and last. I hate to write this review because he's already so far booked out, but I've got to give credit where it's due!

My husband and I came in from out of town and he desperately needed a haircut. Stopped in without appointment since it looked to cool inside. They took him right away and even gave him a cocktail during the cut! He looked great and the receptionist also gave us a list of good restaurants within walking distance to try for lunch. This place is awesome! After trying a couple barbers around the area and not finding what I wanted, this place really delivered in its value, quality, and comfort. I signed up for the membership and it has been a great decision. Everyone I encounter is always pleasant, especially Samantha and all of the staff at the counter. I'm welcomed when I come in and always offered and prepared a drink quickly upon hanging up my coat. Samantha does a phenomenal job with her haircuts is always a pleasure to interact with. She does a thorough job and is excellent at remembering your specific style and cut. The experience is always seamless and it really becomes a treat that you look forward to every time you book an appointment.

What a great idea!! A barber... in a lovely setting,, with drinks, and a great soundtrack in the background. My stylist was John who had done excellent input and made me feel like a million bucks! The staff were all very accommodating from start to finish. They kept in touch via text before the appointment and followed up after. They want you to have a positive experience. Tip: arrive in plenty of time to unwind and enjoy a complimentary drink in the overstuffed leather chairs. Will be back.

Walked by while strolling through Portland. I forgot to pack a razor so my wife and I stopped in for a quick beard trim. Really neat place with an open bar. We had a short wait and so ordered cocktails, which turns out, are complimentary! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Service was top notch and I would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

I needed a barber shop and gave Blind Pig a try. I go in for a haircut and a beard trim. Every barger I've had there has been attentive to what I'm looking for and is very friendly. My appointment is always prompt and I will have to go on a Saturday sometime so I can try their liquor cabinet. The shop is in the old port and in an older building. You have to take a flight of stairs to get to it. It is very comfortable inside with a nice lounge area. You can also set up an oppointment online which I like a lot.

Blind Pig Barber company is the real deal. This is where you want to go for a quality haircut with a low key atmosphere. Beverages, nice people, very detailed services, and the place is meticulously clean. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I definitely plan on going again.

It's admittedly not inexpensive, but the service is top notch, you're served a beverage, and the shop is very nice. Jaime is the only other person besides me who's cut my beard. A fantastic experience everytime I go here. I’ve now been going to the Blind Pig for a year and each time I leave I’m impressed. From the moment you arrive you feel welcomed, you are offered a drink while you wait, you can watch tv, so life is good even prior to the cut. Now, prior to Blind Pig my hair was always a disaster. (I wore a lot of hats) but ever since I stepped into the door there, the cuts and styles have been perfect. Now when I say The Blind Pig, what I’m really talking about is the barber Justin. Justin take the time each visit to go over what the plan is. Yes, my hair is that bad that we need a plan, backup plan, and emergency plan. Justin is also awesome when it comes to beards. I don’t even trim my beard anymore out of fear I’ll mess up what he’s done. Each time I walk out of this place I’m more impressed. If you need a great cut, go check this place out and if you’re looking for a guy that can deliver again and again book with Justin, you will not be disappointed.

The Blind Pig Barber has a very comfortable atmosphere, I stayed in the lounge area to finish my drink after my haircut and beard trim. It hits a market that has been left untapped for so long: a place where men's grooming and experience is taken seriously in a barber shop. They have great drinks and better staff. I was - and still am - very pleased with how I looked coming out of the Blind Pig.

Was a great experience. There's nothing like this in my area of NJ, so I decided I'd give it a shot when visiting Portland. 10:45am appt. Warm greetings followed by the offer of a drink, be it coffee, beer, or something harder if you prefer. Wife was with me (forgive me for I have sinned), and she kept her voice box shut about the pre-noon drink. Huzzah!!! Meaghan was really down to earth. She took time to explain things about the maintenance/cut/style I wanted, and in the end made me look like a proper gentleman. My wife loved the cut. Too bad I don't live in the area. I'd definitely sign up for the membership. You guys/gals should do some research in expanding.
