Best barbershop in arizona! I always go to Carl but they’re all great Carl gets me right every single time he can do designs he can do anything.

I had called earlier in the day to ask if I could make an appt, they said I could make one but it wasn’t necessary-they said walk in anytime! I drove down later that afternoon, Liv was working at the desk. Very nice, asked to see what pictures I brought and offered a haircut on the spot! NO pressure just asked if I wanted one after we had spoke and looked at pictures! She did a fade and it is amazing!!! She did a fantastic job, very personable and outstanding work! Being an older woman and walking into a “barber shop” could be intimidating but I never felt that way at all! Very welcoming, she knew her stuff and I would highly recommend looking her up, especially ladies with all the pixie, shaved, fade hairstyles that are “in” right now! Found my new “hair home”. Thank you Liv!!!

My son was so nervous going to the appointment. He had a couple of bad experiences at a different barber shop. However, the moment we walked in to V’s, we felt so comfortable. Alex was great with him, and made my son relax and explained different ways to style his hair and the best cut for his hair type. It was honestly the best experience ever. These guys are amazing! I used to go to a different barber that I was loyal to for 5 years, but noticed they began to take me for granted by rushing my cuts to the point that they were hideous and not how I wanted, leaving me feeling betrayed. Tyler was amazing with my 7 year old son! My son was refusing to get a haircut after his last one (Not at this barbershop) because it was cut too short. I usually go to a different V's, but that one is closed several weeks for remodeling, so we tried this location. My boys have more difficult haircuts (I know because until today I've only found one other person - a barber at the other V's - who can do it). Despite the haircuts my boys get being on the more difficult side, the two barbers that took their appointments said they'd do their best and they did great! I appreciate them taking on the challenge. I wish I were better with names. I think one baber is named Liv, and the other was wearing a banana costume (we went in on Halloween) and glasses. Thanks for the job well done!

I've done a review a few times. Overall... we have been going here for 4 years and while we might have 1 or 2 experiences that weren't the best, overall they are the best place. Also the only place I trust to actually cut my son's hair. Always make an appointment or else you will be waiting. If you do end up waiting.. watch how long the barbers takes with others. They legit take pride in their skill.

The only thing keeping this from 5 stars was that when I got home, I noticed that my left side of my beard wasn't trimmed as it should have been. I fixed it myself, and feel that they are so professional that if I would've went back that they would've fixed it, but I was already home and didn't want to go back. I will definitely be going back once time to get another haircut and beard trim. I won't miss out on making sure everything this done the first time for sure. Other than that being missed, everyone was professional, and Carl knows what he's doing. It was just hectic though and that's probably why my other side was missed. We're all human, but not all as smooth on this clippers as he was. Thanks again Carl!

Fella’s, if you are lucky enough to be graced by a fade from Carl you will reap the benefits of increased confidence, energy levels of a 5 year old on a sugar high and unmatched head turning abilities. Let’s be honest, I am not the greatest looking guy but when Carl cuts me up I do get mistaken for George Clooney from time to time. I’ve yet to mention that after this particular fade, my aerodynamics were off the charts. I am confident that this haircut is powerful enough to help me become Usain Bolts kryptonite. 10/10 recommend Carl for a good cut and for overall improved quality of life

This is the first time that I have been to V's and it was at the recommendation of my son who has been getting his haircut at V's for over 12 years. I am extremely picky about how my hair is cut and as such stayed with my previous barber for over 43 years who decided to retire. I was extremely happy with the haircut I received from Manny, one to the co-owners of V's. In addition to a great haircut the atmosphere there was like being around people that I have known for years. It was actually an enjoyable time. V's is now stuck with me for a very long time.

Upon sitting in the old style barber chair, I could not help seeing the piles of hair from a previous cut next to me.and at other stations. My barber David was excellent and explained some techniques and ways to avoid razor bumps. Great experience just wish it was a little cleaner.

After a terrible experience at the barber shop across the street Men’s Lounge, I decided to schedule a haircut at V’s. I have been to V’s before and they have always been consistent. The barbers I have had have been skilled at their craft and this experience was the same. You don’t have to be part of the “good ‘ol boys club” to get quality customer service. However, they treat you like your part of the club without even knowing you, which is what everyone likes. I will return for my biweekly haircut and tip very generously like I always do.

Pretty standard barbershop experience. Didn't wait more than 10 minutes on a pretty busy Saturday. I know a lot of reviews are complaining about the guys who cut the hair, and yeah they might speak a different language and they might chit chat with each other the whole time they're there, but at least they're having a good time while they're working, right? All in all, I was happy with the experience, and I will most likely go back next time I need a trim.

Manny, Yalena, and Avner always do excellent work. Perfect fades and hard parts for myself and my son. I tried one of their newer barbers (Albert) recently, and he did a fantastic job too. Before even walking in, you're greeted with a notice saying that you should make an appointment. I walked in anyways and was not greeted by anyone. I sat down and waited my turn. When it was my turn I was greeted by the barber, shook hands and he asked me how I wanted my hair cut. The experience was great. He did exactly what I told him and when I looked in the mirror and noticed some uneven spots on the fade, he was more then willing to fix it up and went ahead and made sure the other side matched. I had some decent conversations, I think you just need to be willing to keep the conversation going with a complete stranger. Fantastic barbershop. I have been several times, all walk-ins with no appointment and have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Some of the staff are more talkative than others but all are knowledge and give great haircuts and clean shaved. Listening to the staff communicate in flawless Russian is also a fun experience.

I agree with other posted reviews. Alex is a terrific barber and the only reason I attend this establishment. Prepare to wait an additional 15 minutes minimum, even with an appointment. Many other staff members are rude (exception is the female employee) and will barely acknowledge you.
