I started growing my beard about six weeks ago. It was really looking unkempt so I googled beard shops near me. V's came up with some of the highest ratings so I made an appointment. I arrived in time and Omar was waiting for me. Man this guy is good. He trimmed my hair and beard line, gave me grooming tips on how to maintain my beard for healthy growth and when I would need to come back to see him. His shop is super clean, his tools and work station were also very clean. The other staff I interacted with were also very polite. I feel like a new man! Will I be back? You better believe it. First time going here. Do not usually trim my beard because it's seasonal only but needed a trim/clean-up for an event. This place is the best! Total traditional barbershop vibe up to and including the chair which fully reclines for shaving and the footrest flips over for a padded side to rest your legs. Will return!

Never had a Better hair cut. I first went in a saw everyone with insanely clean cuts. I got seated by Abraham who did a phenomenal job. These are premium cuts for 30 bucks. Doesn’t get any better

I'm usually very happy with my experiences here. However my last visit, earlier this week, left me disappointed. My barber wasn't very considerate. When he was using scissors, he let the comb fall and land on my forehead several times. Once or twice is fine, but it was every time he used scissors. Also he cut my chin it two places and let me leave still bleeding and with blood smeared on my throat. He didn't apologize or even mention it. I wouldn't have been as annoyed if he would've just owned it and apologized.

This was my first time at V's and I had a great experience. Alex cut my hair and did a phenomenal job. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. I'm pretty picky with my hair too... He had me in and out in I kid you not 15-20 minutes, which includes a neck shave and one of those back massage things. I will most definitely be seeing Alex again!

My family and I moved from Texas about a year ago. Before we left, I had a barber who I went with for over 8 years. If you are anything like me, once you find that barber that you trust and is willing to handle all your pickiness, you are golden. When we moved to Gilbert, it was important that I found a great barber who would listen to all my needs and follow what I ask. It took over 5 nearby locations and many disappointing haircuts before I found V's Barbershop. This was by chance. One day my wife was driving around the area and found the closest barbershop to give my son a haircut, V's Barbershop. After my son's awesome haircut, she was so excited to tell me the news. She knew I hadn't found the right barber yet, so when she told me the news I got excited but was still skeptical, until I saw my son's haircut. Josue was the barber who cut his hair so right away I booked the soonest appointment I could make with him. Now, Josue has been cutting both my son's and my hair for the last few months and couldn't be more pleased with the results. We highly recommend V's Barbershop and Josue's expertise in his craft.

I had an incredible experience with V's, and I don't think I'll be going anywhere else from now on! Abraham was incredibly kind throughout the whole experience, and helped fix a butchered haircut I'd received elsewhere. He clearly knew what he was doing, and made sure that I was happy with every step in the process. The atmosphere was laid back but professional, and unlike so many other places, I didn't feel judged for being a woman in a barbershop. I thought the prices were fair as well, considering the incredible service and well maintained cleanliness of the whole shop. I look forward to seeing y'all again soon!

I arrived first thing in the morning hoping they could squeeze me in, I had a wedding to attend the next day and was leaving that night and wasn't going to have any time for a cut other than right then. Abraham said it would be no problem and he took care of me. Super nice guy and did a great job. I think I found my new barber. They also do beard trimming, so I'm going to give them a shot next time I'm in need. It would be nice to have someone one this side of two that can clean it up for me and not have to drive to Scottsdale anymore. Thanks for everything. Highly recommended.

Today was my first time using V’s. I went there off the recommendation from my son. I previously went to Lady Jane’s which used to be awesome, but lately it’s been a premium price for very mediocre barbers. Not V’s! These guys were awesome! Great facility. Very clean. Plus it was like I was family with all the barbers and staff. Couldn’t believe how personable and friendly they all were. But most importantly, the haircut I received was stellar. I didn’t have to even ask for all the little “extras” like I expect from a place of this caliber, like eyebrows trimmed, ears, etc., which wasn’t the case at the last place - I had to ask for everything. I highly recommend V’s. I know I’ll be going there for as long as I live here, unless of course quality goes down, which I don’t expect.

I've been visiting this V's barbershop for years primarily because of the amazing staff and skilled barbers. Omar and Eddie have cut my hair on several occasions and they never disappoint. They take the time to cut and style my hair no matter what type of cut I am in the mood for. Maybe 10 words total were exchanged the entire time I was there which is just perfect for me. I got a haircut/shave and am very happy with the results. I said I didn't know what I wanted and asked for him to do what he thinks looks good; my wife is thrilled with what he did, looks great. The shave experience was great, lots of pre/post shave treatments to reduce irritation. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the neckline is slightly off center. It's not really noticeable and I know they would have offered to fix it, I'm just not wanting to make a new appointment and go back just to fix a minor, understandable mistake. I will be back again though when it's time for another trim.

I have a crazy schedule so scheduling an appointment isn't best, but this shop is great for dropping in, the wait is never really that bad and I've never had a bad experience. This was my second time having a haircut and shave with Joe. He's a quiet man, but I personally prefer that. I didn't have much hair on my head or face to begin with, so I was expecting to leave early, but Joe took his time with me and was very diligent in the service he provided, eventually using up the entire allotted hour for my appointment. I will most definitely make an appointment with him the next time I got to V's.

At first I was hesitant because I didn't see any photos of clients with my kind of hair (mixed African-American), but I was not disappointed. I went in with a vague idea of.what I wanted, having not getting my hair cut in nearly two years. Mike worked with me and in the end I ended up with exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't know what that was at first. I felt comfortable with the atmosphere, and overall everyone seemed professional and experienced. My only qualm was that they could've done a better job cleaning the excess hair off my face. In the end, I only regret that I couldn't afford to tip more! Will definitely be coming back.

Was my 1st time there taking my son, wanted something close to home. The online scheduling was simple, the place was clean, efficient, and Mike really knew what he was doing. My son came out with what he wanted. He had one complaint, it took Mike 30 minutes. He wasn’t used to perfection so it was 30 minutes of well spent time. I have no complaints at all. This will be his barber shop from now on.

The overall experience was great, towards the end things got a little weird with the order of finishing up the cut. I was put on in the following order: shaving cream around the neck line, a hot towel draped around my head, and then a shoulder massage. The massage ended, the towel was then taken off, then the barber began to shave my neck. I'm surprised no shaving cream was left on the collar on my shirt during that process.

I think I've finally found "my" barber shop! As I've gone from shop to shop, always trying to give them the benefit of a doubt, and stick with them long enough to give a decent chance, I think V's provides everything I was looking for: 1)close proximity to my home, 2)talented barbers that I can request for by name, 3)decent pricing, and finally- 4)the ability to book an appointment online! This ability to book an appointment with all the other qualities has been a game changer for me. I did have that with another shop, but it was in Scottsdale, and just became unrealistic to try to go to. With V's, I appreciate the atmosphere, customer service, and accessibility. If things go as they have been the last few visits, I think they'll have a customer for life! Their online booking system is intuitive, and allows for you to create an account so you can keep your "regular" settings, and request specific barbers. You can then use the confirmation email to save the appointment to your personal online calendar, which is handy! Pricing is fairly decent, probably middle-high compared to other shops I've tried- but I've always thought that if there were a shop I can get everything I need, I would pay more! There's no pressure for extra services, though they offer everything you would expect. Atmosphere is great- old time barber chairs, friendly barbers, well-lit, and clean. Overall, I'm not sure that I would change anything, even if I could!

After reading reviews, we were optimistic about finding a barber for my teenage son. We walked in and I immediately felt like an outcast perhaps it's because I'm a woman stepping into a "men's shop". I walked back to tell the barber what my son and I had discussed about his hair and immediately walked back to the front so as not to helicopter. I felt very uncomfortable given the down your nose looks I got from the 3 barbers just in 10 minutes. I chose to leave and wait outside. All that aside, its a clean shop and a nice shop.
