Now that I'm retired and the man is no longer holding me back, I have begun growing out my beard and my hair for the first time ever. With that being said, I'm having to learn about taking care of a beard and longer hair. I came to Jerrod with many questions and he has been great in answering every question I've had and he has been taking it a step further by really taking the time to consult with me and offer suggestions on what I should do. I've been very happy with his suggestions and help. He really has taken an extensive amount of time to discuss with me the plan he has helped me create. It's obvious he knows what he's talking about. I'm excited to see what this new overhaul is going to look on me when it's all said and done. If you're in a situation like me, I definitely recommend Jerrod. I haven't worked with anyone else, but amongst the conversation I hear going, I get the feeling the entire staff has a great deal of knowledge and experience combined. The atmosphere is great. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Only place I trust with my hair and beard needs. It is an hour trip for me and 100% worth it every time. I got my hair cuts from Jarrod for the longest time who obviously cares about his craft and is unbelievably knowledgeable. My experience was amazing. I walked in and was greeted and checked in. I had a seat just to listen to the hilarious banter between the 3 guys. Jared has the honor to be the first person to clean my beard up in 2 years and he was awesome. He walked through what he was going to do before we started and was done before I thought we even started. The shop has a throwback feel and its badass. If you're leary about someone messing with all the hard work you've put into your beard and being afraid they'll mess it up, DON'T BE! Professional and top notch. I recommend anyone for a first time touch up to someone who may be looking for a change these guys rock out!

My son loves to get a great-looking haircut from Josh. At his first visit, I was nervous because he wanted a very different look than he'd ever had but his confidence tripled during the course of the appointment. It's nice to feel like you are simultaneously walking backwards and forwards in time before walking out with a look that will turn heads. I've never seen anyone leave that looked less than amazing.

Great provisions. Have ordered two separate Biltwell helmets here. Beard oils is good, and you get quite a bit for the money net. Go see Josh, or anyone for that matter, for a beard trim or haircut. Have gotten a beard trim once here and it was good. Lots of class in this place!

I’ve been getting my haircut here for the past several months. Dillion is normally my barber. I’ve never done a walk in. I always make reservations online. He really takes his time when cutting my hair but not too long. I’m not there all day. I have short, thick, Latin hair that can be a struggle for many barbers to cut well but he’s done a great job. I plan on this place being my barbershop for the foreseeable future unless they start playing K-POP.

I was in OKC for 5 months for work so I needed my hair cut a few times. I heard from a co-worker about Weldon Jack and gave them a shot. Fantastic place! I booked with Dillon and was beyond happy with him. He recommended a slight change to how I'd been having my hair and beard done and gave me tips to achieve the same look at home. It was a night and day difference from what I had been getting for years. Dillon was awesome, but after watching the other guys cut, it was clear all the guys are fantastic barbers. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. I've had to move on from Oklahoma, but honestly the top thing I miss is Weldon Jack. Great job guys.

6 out of 5 stars! I went to Weldon Jack a few weeks ago for a hair cut and beard trim. I think these two services were listed on the website as a razor fade haircut and beard trim with razor lineup. This was my first ever beard trim by a barber and I have a long beard. After my experience at Weldon Jack, I plan to go back there every couple/few weeks from now on. I couldn't be happier with the result, loved both my haircut and beard! I had Jerrod Smith as my barber and he was great about explaining everything and gave me great recommendations. Ultimately, I told him to just go ahead with what he thought was best for my hair and beard and I'm so glad I did. This shop and these barbers are terrific! Jerrod for sure and from what I could see for the others barbers, they were all very talented and did great work. A very clean, professional, and affordable barbershop. Also, If you have a beard, do yourself a favor and buy the beard oil they make and sell there. I did not buy it after the first trip but will at my appt. this weekend for sure. Jerrod used the oil on my beard after my trim and it feels and smells great. It is a great product and I immediately regretted not buying some after I got home from my appt.

Definitely a 5 star barber shop. Chad was excellent. I went in with a general idea of what I wanted. Chad gave me great advice and was very informative. The haircut and service are worth more than the $30 they charge. They weren't pushy about trying to sell their products, but you'll definitely wanna grab some. I love my haircut and I'll definitely be back! I've already scheduled my next appointment! I'm ecstatic to have found my new, regular barber.

I have been growing my first lengthy beard for about 6 months now, and had become a bit on-the-fence on where I should go to get it styled in conjunction with my hair. A friend of mine recommended Weldon Jack. I called to book an appointment and was greeted with a message to use their website for booking. I liked the idea of that, and was even more impressed with their scheduling system featured on the website. It is simple, and provides just enough information for a first timer, such as myself, to make a selection. I scheduled an appointment with Jared Smith, the owner, at 9AM. Fast forward to today. First impression of the shop was good, they have a retail outlet attached to the shop with tons of locally sourced hair product, wallets, helmets, etc. The layout of the business is very well thought out. Jared was very pleasant to work with, conversational and made sure we were both on the same page throughout the cut. The other guys were also super friendly and fun to banter with. The razor fade/beard trim I received from Jared is easily one of my favorites I have ever received and for a more than reasonable price. Weldon Jack earned a loyal customer and I look forward to going back! Highly recommended. Edit: This review is from 12/18. Had my haircut again, a few days ago. Josh Laughlin gave me perhaps the best haircut I've ever had.

This place is awesome! Imagine the most manly barbershop you could think of, thats this place. All the barbers are very friendly and knowledgeable about hair. They explained a lot to me and gave me a lot of advice about what I could do with my hair. Definitely don't be afraid to ask them questions! Their products are great they are very helpful getting you what would work for your hair and how much to use. Its best to book ahead but don't be afraid to check the schedule. Their website is really straightforward and easy to use!

I should start with the fact that I work in IT and I sit behind a computer all day and my appearance is not something I put a lot of thought into so coming to this establishment was, to some extent, very out of sorts for me. I have never spent this much on grooming in my life. That said, my visit started with a very blunt (surely?) gentlemen who wasn't exactly welcoming trying to suss out exactly what I wanted as I checked in. I had booked a skin fade (a first for me) and was a bit of a fish out of water so I suppose I understand his possible frustration with my mild bewilderment as, while I was sure on what I booked, I was not as sure on what to expect upon arrival. Thankfully, the owner Jerrod, with whom I had booked my appointment, welcomed me to browse the provisions while I waited a minute or two for him to finish getting ready. There is a fine selection of what appears to be extremely high-quality products here, from grooming to accessories, but as I didn’t end up purchasing any I will leave those reviews to the next folks. Although, I will say the house made shaving bar smelled awesome and I will be back to purchase one once my current one runs out. Eventually I had my hair cut, which was easily the best I have ever had. From the quality of the cut to the over all experience (minus the greeting) this was a fantastic time. I don’t normally like to talk while I get my haircut, but Jerrod was engaging, interesting, and very knowledge. He helped me change my choice for a haircut to something that looked better on me and for that I am very grateful. I will absolutely be back to explore the provisions and get my haircut again (even if it might be a while and my hair will look like the unattended mess it normally does.) I hope that he is coaxed into becoming involved in public art again as it is sorely needed in OKC and Norman. Thanks so much for a great adventure!

I've been going to Weldon Jack for a year now and have never been disappointed. The shop is perfectly curated and comfortable. The men in my family love getting a gift card for shaves and my husband highly recommends the shop brand beard oils. The staff is relaxed without sacrificing professionalism. Joshua Kidd is a fantastic and creative barber. I can't recommend Weldon Jack enough. If you haven't visited, do yourself the favor.

This place is legit. I came in from out of town and didn't want to get butchered by a chain location. Looking online it was pretty obvious this was the place to go for a men's cut in the area. I walked in on a Saturday to see if there was anything available....bad idea. This place is obviously popular and booked up regularly. I went ahead and made an appointment for the following week and picked up some beard products on the way out. The beard products are awesome (made in-house). I have numerous different waxes/oils/etc from different companies but the scents of Weldon Jack's oils are the best. On my way out the door the guys were more than helpful giving me recommendations of things to do in OKC. When I went in for my haircut the next week the barber (Drake) was incredibly personable. I'm tired of getting haircuts where you just sit down, shut up and accept what you get. Drake gave options, explained his reasoning behind what he was doing, and helped me get the style I wanted, not just the cut. Definitely make these guys your regular shop, and check out all the awesome gear they have from watches to shoes, bags, hats, motorcycle gear, etc. The owner is obviously passionate about this company and does a great job stocking the place with the coolest gear. Wish we had these guys in Salt Lake City!

Such an amazing first experience at Weldon Jack! I was greeted by friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. A staple of my visit was the provisions shop. There you’ll find just about everything necessary for your grooming needs. As well as stylish merch, and must haves. Even an old style soda machine with a ice cold beverage waiting. My stylist, Jerrod was fantastic. Attentive, knowledgeable, and best of all he listened when I explained what I wanted from the cut. I literally can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience at Weldon Jack. I have a son on the spectrum, and I was so nervous when I called to ask if they have any experience cutting a child’s hair that has autism. Not only was Jerrod more than kind, (brought me to tears) throughout our phone conversation- he kept asking about my son’s needs, and what he could do in his shop to make the appointment safe and sensory friendly for him. I was taken aback by such a wonderful response and I was so grateful for everything they did to make my son comfortable. The appointment itself was an amazing experience for my son and my family. Jerrod was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. He turned down his music, brought out quieter trimmers, and kept his shop in a calmer atmosphere just for my son. (I didn’t ask for any of that- he did it because he cares about his customers and their needs) Words cannot describe how appreciative I am to have found such an amazing place with amazing people. I quite literally got the best haircut and beard trim of my life here. I’m only 22 but hey, they do great work. They straight razor and all that snazzy stuff and even got the fancy chairs that lean back for the beard trim! Michael Arms cut my hair and the other barbers are very skilled as well. Everyone has several years of experience and it truly shows. I haven’t stopped smiling since I left this place. He cut my hair at 5 o’clock the night before Thanksgiving and they were booked. That tells you that Weldon’s is worth it. If you want a mans haircut and something new and refreshing, then these guys will be the ones to deliver! I will be coming back without a doubt.

If I could give them ten stars, I would. This place is hands down the best barbershop for men in the OKC area. This isn't a typical haircut place where you walk in, wait a little bit (a few minutes to an hour) and be seen by someone. You'll want to make an appointment. The good news is they have a great online appointment system in place so you can do it through their website. The better news is they actually stick to their appointments and I am always in the chair right at my appointment time. If you do get there early or for some reason they're running behind there's a nice lounge with a little shopping experience. It beats sitting in a waiting room with kids running around and screaming. After a less-than-satisfying experience at other local Barbershop, I decided to take a chance and switch barbershops. I couldn't have made a better choice! Scheduling was easy, service was prompt, the atmosphere was very inviting, my barber (Ryan) was engaging, personable and delivered the perfect haircut and outstanding straight razor shave. Parking is convenient, with a wonderful atmosphere. If you like to look and feel good, this place is for you. Aside from haircuts, they also offer a little shopping experience that is fun to stop and look. Sure, there are other decent barbershops in town but this is at or near the top. I will definitely return!!!!!

Weldon Jack is by far the best barber shop I have been to here in OKC or in the DC area. I was worried that it would be a little too "hip" for me, but these guys are awesome; welcoming, friendly, professional, and skilled at what they do. The provisions side has a lot of cool items to look at while you're waiting for your appointment. Jerrod is awesome at fades and, from his training and natural ability, has a huge understanding of how different hair and growth patterns needs specific cuts. I have always had troubles with haircuts because of my super straight and fine hair -- so much so that I would always have to go home and touch up the haircut I just got. The two haircuts I have gotten so far have been only times that haven't had to fix anything. If you are a little worried that a standard haircut is a little pricey, don't sweat it! The experience and quality cut makes it completely worth it.

I had an issue with my experience this barber shop, but the owner personally contacted me and was super helpful. I came in for a haircut, beard trim and shave (neckline and cheeks) The barber doing it gave me razor burn on my neck because he shaved against the grain of my beard hair on the first pass. However, I do have very thick facial hair compared to most people, and my hair grows straight up towards the top of my head. I've given myself razor burn quite a few times before I figured out what I was doing. I contacted the owner, and he was incredibly polite and helpful, and reimbursed me for the shave portion of my appointment with them. He also said he would get the barber who shaved me (Drake) to watch a shave for someone with thicker hair so that he could see how to take care of it. Overall, I'm still really happy with my experience. People make mistakes, and overall the ones made were very small. Drake gave me ONE OF THE BEST haircuts I've ever gotten, and got my neckline shape better than I normally can. Even after that, I'd 100% come back for another haircut, and I'd honestly still give Drake another go at shaving my neck! Top notch haircut, Top notch service.

I hope people realize that this shop isn't a franchise, or something by a big commercial developer... this shop is 100% created by an amazingly talented local guy who followed his goal of making a unique gentleman's goods / barber shop for Oklahoma City. From building out the old service station, to curating the products, to restoring the bikes that are displayed... this place is an example of what can be done when someone values forward thinking, customer service, and excellence. They always have new and suave products for men in the shop... definitely a top place to shop for gifts! PS. Their beard oils and lotions are their own proprietary concoction. So so so rad.

The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because I had good past experiences. This last time I would give it 0 stars if I could do a single event. It seems like there was a turn over of staff because my normal barber wasn't there. So I had to pick another barber. First, the barber was 40 minutes behind. So I had to wait which would have been fine if the barber didn't spend the next 5 minutes complaining that he was behind because the previous customer didn't like his haircut and wanted it changed. I have a simple cut. 3 on sides and small trim on top. I've been getting the same cut for years from different barbers. This was the first time anyone messes up. I have a very natural defined part. It does it on its own. Well, the guy pulls my hair up in like a ponytail and runs the razor ( which was not a 3. Much shorter) on BOTH sides and back and does an uneven cut on the top. Didn't ask how I part my hair or how i normally style it. It literally was the worst cut I've ever had. I don't know if it was the fact he was behind, lack of experience, or just misunderstood what I wanted but he should have know the cut was going to look bad. I had to go to another barber or should I say barbers because it took 2 of them and an hour to figure out how to fix my hair without just cutting it all off. Hair grows back luckily, but also I was lucky that I didn't have a special event to go to that could have been ruined by a haircut.

Thankfully he has strong technical and listening skills. The guy gave me a superb cut. This place lays it on heavy with the hipster image wich is not appealing and the "requirement" to create a profile to book an appointment is obnoxious - but all well worth knowing you will walk out looking sharp and not like howdy-doody. For the people who wrote a bad review for the price stating it's $30 for a 15 minute cut - time doesn't always equate quality... this place has at least one high quality barber in Ryan. Ryan spent alot of time on my cut. Paying close attention to my requests.

Cool little shop. Came in to buy some beard oil. They have a great line of scented beard oils. Locally made too (big fan of small business). The only other place I've found locally is Carwin's Shave Shop that carries beard products. I wouldn't recommend Carwin's unless you make at least 6 figures, way over priced, and everything Carwin's carried had petrol based ingredients that I really don't want to put on my face! I have bought their leather scented as well as their sandlewood and cedar oil. I use one or the other, and sometimes a mixture of both.
