Visited S&S OKC for the first time yesterday morning.. I had booked an appointment with a new stylist for a cut that was supposed to be complimentary.. Long story short, another stylist ended up providing my cut and it came out nearly perfect, so I really didn't mind paying for it.. S&S is quite the concept.. A full-service, men's barbershop complete with a speakeasy-esque full bar right off the lobby and a "complimentary" beverage included with your service.. I sampled a recommended whiskey sour prior to my cut and to my surprise the bartender used Maker's Mark instead of some well variant.. The cocktail was super smooth and was quite enjoyable.. The bar area is quite inviting with ample seating that would easily accommodate a group of friends who might want to gather, enjoy a beverage or two, and even get a cut and/or beard trim if needed.. My stylist, Yasmin was a great conversationalist and had a fantastic personality, but more importantly provided a nearly perfect cut.. She continuously asked for my feedback in an effort to ensure I left satisfied.. I couldn't have been happier with the result.. All in all, S&S is one of those places where a guy could receive a personal grooming experience akin to a women's high-end salon, but made even better by the availability of convenient bar service as an added bonus.. 10 out of 10 recommend, though the pricing won't fit in everyone's monthly budget.. That said, you are receiving a higher quality experience than that of a typical local or national-chain shop.. For those who qualify they offer a 10% discount for current and retired military members with ID..

Hands down the best barber shop I have ever stepped foot in. It has an incredible bar, everyone gets along like family, and you can have a drink on the back patio. Not to mention a real hot towel and straight razor shave!!! The products are all top notch and smell amazing! The membership packages are definitely worth asking about. There are also events that are constantly being held there too, such as the comedy show coming up on March 17.

This was my wedding day, I cannot express how perfect my experience at scissors and scotch was. First off the website and scheduling was straight to the point and easy. Everything just a couple of taps away. I arrived a little early and had a couple of drinks at the bar, I suggest the old fashioned, both drinks were great. The bartenders were professional and communicative. They made great drinks and great conversation. I had never been here before and so I chose the option to give me a random barber. I got Alexa, she was incredible. Great conversation and even better haircut and beard trim. She accommodated every request, checked with me through each stage to ensure I was happy with the shape and length. Stopped multiple times mid cut to let me have a drink of my drink from the bar. I left feeling so refreshed and ready for my big day. I could not recommend this place more to friends and family who are wanting to get spruced up for their big day whatever that might be. Big meeting, wedding, birthday, anything you need a nice refresh for. I got the 15 year package. I plan on making coming here a regular thing for big occasions. 15/10

Greeted cheerfully by the bartender, who (along with the other bartender) was a lot of fun and as a bartender should be. Ambiance is nice. Lexie cut my hair, and thankfully took care to not make the mistakes every other barber across states and countries makes - the attention to detail was very much appreciated, and I'll be back, specifically with Lexie. Not a cheap haircut by any means, but a high-quality experience and a properly good haircut.

Hands down the absolute best haircut experience I’ve ever had. I have never been pampered and taken care of as attentively as Cheyenne did for my visit. The staff are all super friendly and the hair cuts are ten times better than when I was going to sport clips. So far the two stylists I have had, Brian and Lexi, have been kind and great throughout the whole process. The bartender is awesome at making conversation and very knowledgeable on the alcohol and even the hair side of the business.

I was going here for the past six months but just stopped in the last couple of weeks. The reason I have stopped are the following: rate increase, constant rescheduling, and tired of hearing about all the drama in someone else's life while I am getting my haircut. I had a great barber for awhile but she had a second job that ended up taking up more of her time, since then the service has been ok. Just not worth the money to me when I could be going to a small barber who knows their customers instead of a chain who treats you like a number. The bar staff are probably some of the better staff there always great service from them.

Yasmin is probably the best hair stylist that I have ever had. I haven’t gone here close to a year and she picked off right where we left off in conversation. She remembered about my kids, my wife, life, etc. She even remembered what shampoo I liked using which had me floored, especially since I can’t even remember if I locked the doors to my car. Aside from that, I have had 3 cuts by her and every single one of them have been amazing. Not only do I feel good, but walking out of S&S makes me feel like a new person. I love this place, going to make it my usual spot. The barber is had was Kaycee, she did a fantastic job. I came and told her vaguely what I wanted as I couldn’t describe it and told her I was purposing to my girlfriend later that week (she said yes) and wanted to look fresh. At 54 a man feels like he should have a barber in his back pocket to speak to and confide in. I found my person and she did everything I expected and offered services I did not consider, but have changed my outlook and will be expected when I visit her next time! The value far exceeds the cost of a service that is front and center of every first meeting after a visit. I love the idea of starting at the bar and opening a tab and then your haircut gets put on it too and then when your done you have another drink or two and then tab out from the bar where you started and pay for everything together. Since I can’t write another review of this place I’m just going to add to it. This isn’t a typical review, but more of a confession of guilty pleasures. There are a few things I look forward to, college football, a nice old fashion, when my kids are finally asleep, and sweet Jessica cutting my hair. When I returned for my second haircut to this fine establishment I had to select a new stylist. So naturally I was nervous. I ordered my usual old fashioned and waiting my turn. Jessica comes strolling around the corner smiling and said, Are you Tony? I was impressed she picked me out of the few guys at the bar. I told her how I wanted my haircut and she executed it to perfection. Later that day my wife saw my hair and immediately knew I was seeing another woman. When it was time for my next haircut, I was sitting in bed with my wife angling the laptop away from her while I scheduled another meetup. And just like the last time, it was the best experience. First review This started out as a regular forced haircut by my wife. Early on a Sunday morning, before football starts, my wife drags me out of the house. She was sick and tired of me complaining about all these bad haircuts I’ve received over the years. So her bright idea was to liquor me up for the chance I wouldn’t notice another bad haircut. Well, we both won in this scenario. We get there and they tell us to check in at the bar. First reaction out of me was a huge smile, because I’m about to start drinking at 10AM without being yelled at. We both ordered the Old Fashioned and within minutes I’m called back. I initially started to chug my drink. They told me I didn’t have to and I could finish it during the cut. Yet again, another big smile. Katie, my barber, was kind and talkative. She complimented me on my dad outfit and loved my gray hair. Two points for Katie. The cut was surprisingly good. I couldn’t tell if my wife liked it because she somehow managed to down 3 Old Fashions in 45 mins. All in all, a great experience and great cut.

Honestly felt like an upscale Mastercuts. The stylists were all people seemingly fresh out of hair school. No disrespect at all as they were very courteous, sweet, timely but far from experienced barbers/stylist. If you want an average haircut at an above average cost with warm towels and hand massages to masquerade the real reason why you’re there then this place is for you. If you want actual experienced barbers who know their way around clippers/shears just google some local barbershops in OKC. There are plenty quality ones. (Lakeside is my normal go to but they were closed on Mondays and based on my schedule I decided to try Scissors and Scotch.)

I had a men's hair cut, wash and neck massage from Candy on May 2nd and it was a wonderful experience. Since the barbershops were not open in Texas, I made a special road-trip from Dallas to Oklahoma City on Saturday, just to get my hair cut at Scissors & Scotch (and then drove right back to Dallas afterwards). The experience was so wonderful that I would consider making the drive again! The store is very clean and all staff members were wearing face masks which added a level of comfort and showed that the salon was taking the necessary steps to keep its' employees and Customers safe from COVID-19. Social Distancing was in full effect, with every other chair being used in the salon, so I was not close to anyone during my hair cut experience. And, I was asked to wait outside until it was my turn to enter the salon, which was fine! When greeted outside, Candy was welcoming, friendly and during my service, she was attentive and ensured I was happy with my haircut before I left. Congrats Scissors and Scotch for winning over a new Customer during these challenging times. After doing research on your website, I noticed that there is a Scissors & Scots in Dallas! Win! I went in for an upkeep 12-12:15 and was done by 12:05 I ask to get my sides cleaned up and was told there wasn’t enough time. Make sure if you just want behind your ears cleaned up that you book an appointment for a full haircut.
