I've been coming here for 27 years now and I've had no real issues. My regular barber moved so I a new barber. 2 other barbers know me and how to cut my hair. If you get to know these cats, they'll take care of you. Tell the exactly what you want they'll hook you up.

I've been coming here for 29 years, the same Barber, with or without appointment I am always the next in line. Most of the Barbers have been here since they open, it's always fun to be in their presence engage in some of the most colorful conversations at times. The guys are always courteous and friendly. I highly recommend June , he will take his time and deliver that masterpiece you so desire. QBG is the best place for the whole family to get their hair done. Excelent Barbers!

Love QBGs. I haven’t been there in years so I will give a review based on what I remember. This is a great barbershop. There are an immense amount of barbers. Not all of them are talented though! You have to find the barber that works for you and can cut hair nicely (like any other barbershop). The interior is all mirror, including the walls. The front of the barbershop is all glass. Environment is nice and barbers are pleasant to work with. Parking is a bit of a hassle. However if you get there earlier in the day, you should be fine. My favorite barber is Chiddy who sat along the wall. He takes his time with cuts and always gets my line up right. Will def revisit if I am in the Newark/ Irvington area.

I have been going to QBGs for 23 years now. This is the place to go if you're looking for fast and professional service. I highly recommend "LJ" "Daeshawn" or "Shard" but any of the barbers there will give you the cut you're looking for in a timely fashion. The atmosphere is welcoming and is everything a barbershop is supposed to be. I have been to different shops but always come back home. This is the place you bring your son to learn about life and to see Black men in a positive way.
