Been coming here for 10+ years. Always a great haircut. Vito and his staff are pros. I really like their hair care products too! I regularly buy their matte paste and their shampoo and conditioner. I like that they take appointments so I’m in and out. My 2 sons come here too and I’ve recommended Vito to friends.

I have gone here for my past 6 haircuts. I have never gotten better haircuts anywhere else in my 34 years. And its not only the perfect haircut that makes this place so wonderful. It's the atmosphere and ambiance that Vito brings to his work. When I first moved to Montclair last year I tried four different places before being recommended comb. Vito's was the only place that I felt after I left and looked in the mirror at home gave me the perfect haircut. Will not be going to any other place any time soon- MJF

My wife’s stylist told her I should try Vito several years ago - long before we’d all heard of COVID. I booked an appointment soon after, and left with what I felt was the best haircut I’d ever had. When I got home, my wife agreed. I haven’t been anywhere else since, and I have never left Comb unsatisfied. I highly recommend Comb and it’s owner, Vito, if you are looking for a great haircut!

Excellent barbershop! In my opinion the best in town. Vito is great and everybody who works for him must abide by his standards. It is a cash only place, but he has an ATM in the back of his establishment. I have tried several other places before coming here, none have the same combination of quality haircut and experience as you get at Comb.

I’ve been getting cut by Vito for the last few years here and without a doubt, he raised my standards of what a haircut should entail and look like. On top of that his shop has a really cool feel, with great tunes playing, a vintage barbershop experience, and a bar cart to go with it. He recently produced his own brand of hair products that I love. Keeps style all day without a residue in it. A+ all around. You’ll be lucky to make this your regular spot for a haircut.

He pays attention to detail, always understands the vision I’m going for. Some long wait times if you going after work. The day time, I’ve never waited. The absolute best shop in town.

This is an elegant barber shop with a professional staff that will make you feel like this is your barber shop. About a year ago I was looking for a new place to get a good cut, something with style and a little class; I found Comb reading reviews online. The shop has a classy feel to it. The chairs are wide plush antique barber chairs, the walls are nicely decorated, and every magazine imaginable is available to patrons while they wait. Best part is every cut gets a hot lather and razor clean up. Vito the owner is always on point. He never rushes a hair cut whether busy or not. I highly recommend Comb to all my friends and family. There is something special about getting a cut in a classy barber shop.

I’ve been coming here for a while and have gotten a great haircut almost every time. Only complaints are they should have more people working on a Saturday. Usually only two people working. Side note: Owner is very nice and the place has a nice vibe. Love their hair products too.

I particularly love the back-of-the-neck shave using a warm lather and a shavette. I've gotten cuts from a few of their barbers, but my go-to right now is Jason.

As a girl with a very short cut, thank goodness for Comb. This barber shop is what I've been looking for, since I cut my hair short 5 years ago. The price is amazzzing for the quality and care you get. A salon would charge you double for a bad cut, and talk your ear off without listening to your needs. Danielle is talented, and down-to-earth. The atmosphere is super cool. Be sure to arrive early, as they are quite popular. And don't wait last minute to get your hair cut during holidays, you dingus.

Been looking for a new barbershop for the past 2 years now due to my barber moving to Florida and everywhere I have gone did not have the patience the expertise and overall professional but yet family like deamnor. Walked into here an hour ago off the suggestion from a friend and all I can say is I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles, the ambiance was amazing. Got my haircut a undercut fade comb over look from Mike who was patient and knew exactly what I was looking for and did a phenomenal job. Very clean pain free and overall great experience I would definitely recommend people here and I can't wait to go back in a few weeks. I've been getting my hair cut there for a few months now and couldn't be happier. Barbers are all friendly and courteous and do the the little things like using a straight razor to clean up the edges and the back of your neck. Prices are reasonable for the area. Shop itself is more modern than your average barber shop but still has that manly feel. I will go out of my way in the future to come to Comb for a haircut.
