It's great. They move quickly. Prices are reasonable. This hotel is rated 4 1/2 stars. The comfort level while you wait may be higher. And I personally detest when my barber stops the cut to answer a call, chat with a new customer, or just to collect payment from another paying client. To focus on your customer and earn a 5-star rating, you hire someone else to do all of that.

It's good. They are fast. Prices are decent. This is a 4 1/2 stars place. There is room for improvement on the comfort while you wait. And, I personally, hate it when my barber interrupts the cut, to make a phone call, or talk to some who just walked in, or to simply stop to get the cash from another paying customer. You get another person to do all that so you can concentrate on your customer and get your 5 star rating.

One of the best cuts I’ve gotten and I was in and out. The shop is clean and they give you a punch card. Every 8 cuts gets you a free one. I’ll definitely be back!

Slava opened up a new shop!!! Truly the best barber(s) in a Town...I had been getting my haircuts at his other location (only a couple of blocks away) and I can say with full confidence, if you get your hairs cut by Danny or Slava, you are in good hands. You will be blessed. Slava has been cutting hair since I was born lol...He is passionate about making people look good! Best of all, he actually listens to what you want, and pays great attention to detail. Ask for Slava (the owner)if you go to the lex location, or Danny if you’re at the other location. I would never let another barber touch my beard, but these guys really do it right. I can speak on behalf of Slava and his staff, he only hires the best, so regardless of who you get, you’re good to go!!! If you’re looking for a fresh cut, do not hesitate to walk thru their doors!

Customer at Elite Barbers for about 4 months now, and have only seen Slava (the owner). Overall, great haircut with consistency being the main mark of a great place. Appointments are highly recommended, as Slava is a man in demand! Additional details below, if you want to read on. With great demand, comes with pros and cons too. During peak hours, he can typically run 10 to 15 minutes behind schedule. So if you're a type A personality, getting a haircut from the owner may not be the best fit for you. However, the demands speaks to a demanding qualities such as consistency and expertise. Similar to the above, although I have never received a bad haircut from Slava, but there are certain variations in his service. There are times where he cleans the fade with a razor and hot towel, but there are other times when it does not happen. But again, overall positive interactions bc most barbers in the city don't go the extra mile and Slava often does. I usually tip above my standard mark when I receive the "extra mile" service. In short, if you come here with level-set expectations you will quickly become a regular here. If you are a New Yorker, you know the drill. All of the most demanding restaurants often have lines out the door. Same with this place, demand speaks for itself. Check your ego at the door and let Slava take you to the promised land.

Slava touched up his beard and mustache and everything. He gave him a complete makeover in twenty minutes. We’ve been turned away by other places that are too intimidated to cut long hair and have been taken at places that didn’t know what they were doing and totally botched the haircut. Slava rocks!!! Too rough for my taste. The haircut and beard trim look good but my neck feels like it was attacked by a lawn mower (the electric shaver). My cheeks are razor burned too. I even had to ask him (the older Russian barber) to brush off a bunch of hair he left along my collar line.
