I've lived in New Orleans for over three years now and have struggled to find a stylist or barber who listened to my requests (always simple and standard) and cut my hair appropriately for its style and texture. I booked an appointment with Gabi on a whim, and I am so glad I did. For the first time, I felt like my barber was listening to what I wanted and giving me a cut that will last, is easy to manage and style, and will grow out evenly. I have finally found someone who knows how to cut my hair, and my first experience with Gabi will certainly not be my last. Thanks, Gabi!

I have gone here twice since moving to NOLA. Brett cut me the first time and Koy the second. They are EXCELLENT barbers. I am the pickiest person ever when it comes to haircuts and they both exceeded my expectations. I will not go anywhere else in the city for a haircut as long as I'm here. I would give 10 ⭐ if I could.

Was in town for my wedding and wanted to get some family and the groomsmen together for some haircuts and beard trims before the big day. Micah and Gabi were excellent in coordinating everything and working to figure out who needed what so they could plan appropriately for the size of our group and the time allotted. All of the haircuts, beard trims, and shaves were excellent and had the group looking sharp, and the atmosphere was another level, just a great time with everybody, relaxing, exchanging stories, having a drink. Fun all around and can’t thank Micah, Gabi, Jacob, and Brett enough for all they did for us. Highly recommend!

Definitely mixed on how I feel about this place. To start, while I got the standard haircut apron, they didn’t wrap anything around my neck which I thought was the normal practice. So afterwards I had SO much hair down the back of my shirt. I had to go shower. That’s never been a problem I’ve had before. Every barber is different, but I just felt like my cut was rushed compared to every other barber I’ve ever been to. It still looked ok in the end, it was passable. But it just didn’t feel like I left feeling great about it. Usually barbers that I’ve been to use a razor to really finely shape the beard on the cheeks, etc. So I mean maybe it was just my barber, and while he was a nice guy, I don’t think I’ll be back to this location unfortunately.

I called two hours before my appointment to make one and they were super awesome about my last minute request. Mary was awesome, told her what I wanted and probably gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. When it was done, I got it shampooed and she noticed some stuff that was still out of place and she went back and fixed it up. No fuss, no unnecessary talking, just a damn good, straightforward haircut. I will definitely be back, absolutely worth the money.

Fantastic undercut. I love the variant. When traveling its great to find a place to get a fantastic cut, trim or in my case an undercut. I don't know what I liked better... the conversation was fun or the hot peppermint towel.

The Parker Barber had a fantastic atmosphere and my new barber Adam was incredibly professional and easy to talk too (and I look damn good if I say so myself.) Got an amazing cut and beard trim from Jacob who is one of the coolest barbers I’ve ever had the pleasure of chatting with. The hour went by so quickly as we talked and listened to hip hop tracks. The barbershop itself is a really chill space. If o lived in New Orleans, this would certainly be my go-to shop.

I needed a quick cut hours before a holiday party and The Parker came thru clutch! All of the staff are friendly and professional creating a laid-back welcoming vibe. As a walk-in I expected to wait but was fortunate to be seated right away. Josh was my barber and hooked up the tape fade and beard trim with precision. Great shop! I'll definitely be back.

Someone messed up my beard, so I went to Micah hoping he could fix it. Not only did he fix it, but he also gave me a new beard style. I’m super pleased with my experience at Parker Barber. The atmosphere is cool, all of the barbers I met are laid back and pleasant to talk to, and the drinks are cold and delicious. 10/10, would recommend. The only thing this barber shop is missing is a photo of Mickey Rooney on the wall with his famous quote “Hey Kids, lets put in a show!”
